number is increasing. But two authentic manuscripts of the poet were found in 1260. One of them has 252 rubagies and the other has 172 rubagies. Omar discussed with his contemporaries scientists. About this, in the preface of the book Omar Khayyam Rubagi published in 2011 by the Turkmen State Publishing Service, Rehmet Gylyjov mentions that Omar Khayyam had a friendly relationship with Abu Sagyt Abul Mane baba, and that they communicated through his rubagi.
Indeed, these two individuals have similarities in their backgrounds. This proves that both of them were scientific and educated personalities of their time. In one of my father's verses, he explains that everything in the world is mysterious: Neither you nor I know the secret world.
There are thematic similarities between the poems of Yunus Emre, a thinker of Turkmen literature who lived in the 12th century, and the poems of Omar Khayyam. In his poems, Yunus Emre mainly advocates perfect human qualities and humanitarianism: Yunus Emre says:
"All that is needed is a thousand pilgrims who will be humbled by one heart."
In this verse, Yunus Emre says that a person's heart should not be disappointed, and Omar Khayyam says in this regard: If you can, do not save anyone. In the second volume of Gundogdiev's book «The History of Turkmen Literature» extensive information is given about Mahmyt Palwan's creativity. The influence of Mahmyt Palwan, who is considered to be the shining star of medieval Turkmen literature, poet and wrestler of Khorezm, and the influence of Omar Khayyam is noted by scientists.
Omar Khayyam urges to approach life with dignity. Magtymguly Pyragy develops this idea and gives it a social meaning. Every person emphasizes that he should spend his life helping the weak, the poor, the suffering and the needy. In the books of Omar Khayyam, moral norms are given a great place. A man tells himself that he should choose friends among brave, energetic and intelligent people.
Omar Khayyam's poems are rich in artistic means of language such as similes and similes, and are written in a simple, easy-to-understand language. This helps to stay in the minds of the readers. Omar Khayyam always puts man as the main theme in his writings. Who is the king of all the living creatures of the world: Humanity is the head of all creatures, its intelligence is a ring, the circle of the world is a ring, and when we read these lines, we remember the slogan of our heroic Arkadag, «The state is for man.» And our Serdar with Arkadag continues this slogan: "A country is just a country with its people! Today he is considered the father of Turkmen literature and is a nationally celebrated cultural icon. His renown largely persists through a rich, ingrained tradition among Turkmen bards or bagshy of adapting his poetry into song. A continual source of sustenance and pride for his people, Magtymguly's image and biography have also played a constitutive role in Turkmen modern history, providing a poetic vision for a unified Turkmenistan.
Among the citizens of the country, the interest in the creative heritage of the outstanding poet is growing. Also, the interest in the creativity of Magtymguly Pyragy is not decreasing at all among the fans of literature around the world.
The works of Magtymguly, translated into dozens of foreign languages, are studied in the poet's homeland and beyond. On the occasion of the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Pyragy, at the meeting of the Permanent Council of the International Organization of Turkish Culture (TURKSOY), which was held in Bursa, the Republic of Turkey, the unanimous support of the country's initiatives to declare 2024 as «the year of Magtymguly Pyragy, the great poet and thinker of the Turkish world» is dedicated to the great speech master. The main thing that made the people strong in Magtymguly's work is that all the feelings, dreams, attitudes and friends of the lyrical hero in his poems are connected with the people. Thus, the lyrical hero in the poet's works appears as a hero who embodies the wonderful qualities characteristic of the hardworking people of that time.
The principle of unity and unity of the great thinker, who continued his work in close connection with the life of the people, is also expressed at a very high level.
Magtymguly Pyragy's deep love for the Motherland, respect for the country, spiritual and moral values are reflected in his poems. Thinker's poems contain the highest feeling of humanity - loyalty to the dear soil. The high mountains of Etrek, Gurgen, gushing springs, and flowers increase the artistry of the poems. Through his love for his native village, the poet expresses his great love for the entire Turkmen land, exalts the sanctity and dignity of the Motherland. The flowers of the Karakum desert are the decoration of the Caspian Sea. The exhortations about humaneness, good relationships, respect for parents, and noble human values are especially
important for every young reader.
The creativity of Magtymguly, the founder of Turkmen classical literature, the wise poet of the East, who is famous all over the world, is the pearl of the cultural heritage collected by our ancestors over the millennia. Now, even though centuries have passed, the lines of poetry of the great son of our nation calling for love, unity and fraternity of the country have not lost their importance and have a rightful place in the hearts. It is important to study Magtymguly Pyragy's rich and valuable literary heritage, his secular views, the world of philosophy in his poems, and his great influence on Turkmen life in the 18th-19th centuries. In this context, the celebration of this date is of particular importance. The remarkable date, which is marked with the aim of revealing the inseparable connection of the poet's creativity with the scientific and cultural life of Turkmen, including the entire East, through modern digital technologies, draws the attention of the international scientific and literary community to the world of poetry, attracts world scientists.
The creativity of Magtymguly Pyragy, the great thinker of the Turkmen people, is becoming more and more popular over the years. In Turkmen tradition and belief, there is a principle of special use of the language to native people. Аннотация
Махтумкули основал новое литературное направление в истории туркменской литературы XVIII века. Новации поэта в художественном творчестве получили полное признание в его время, а в XIX веке он еще более окреп. Его уникальное развитие можно увидеть в современной туркменской литературе. Литературная школа Махтумкули росла и выходила за национальные рамки.
