Summary. The article talks about the work of linguist Aim Demirchizade. He was able to give a green light to the impassable paths of our literary language history, which is rich in complex problems. This is how Abdulazal Demirchizade became a mythical hero in our memory. Even today, the world of Demirchizade comes to our aid, takes us by the hand, shows us the headland of impassable roads, the other side of unopened doors. Thus, the scientist had an invaluable role in the services of linguistic science.
Key words: Abdulazal Demirchizade, literary language, the history of language, great scientist, linguistic science.
Linguistic history has a leading position in A. Demirchizade's work. Thus, researches related to the history of language are the richest source on which the scientist relies in this field as a whole. The genius scholar deeply explored the language, its historical evolution and development paths and looked at our language as a sacred temple, which is the keeper of the national-spiritual memory of our people. He was able to understand and appreciate with extreme sensitivity and hearing with all his heart. He managed to conduct research with true filial love and scientist-citizen zeal. It can be said that he successfully conducted his research by bowing his head only in the service of the truth. When we pay attention to the scientist's research on the history of language, we feel the responsibility of how sensitive and careful he is to these problems.
The professor managed to study the language of literary works created in different periods in order to solve complex linguistic historical issues. He also carried out etymological studies which provided invaluable materials for obtaining very important results. At the same time, his contribution to the study of the history of phonetics and grammar is undeniable. However, by creating a fundamental scientific-theoretical system, "Historical summaries of the Azerbaijani literary language" (1938), "Paths of development of the Azerbaijani literary language" (1958), "Kitabi-Dade Gorgud dastanlarini dili" (1958), "History of the Azerbaijani language" which sound like an event in our linguistics grammar" (1967), "50 words" (1968) were turned into monographic works. These works contain information about the history of our language based on primary facts. More persuasive evidence, solid evidence and analysis, the results presented have actually been able to prevent many debates, doubts and assumptions, and purposeful political maneuvers for decades. Of course, with all this, the professor could not achieve comfort and peace. Because he searched for the history of our language in the history of Turkic languages, in 1947, despite the fact that copies of the work "History of the Azerbaijani Language" (Part I) were published, it was not allowed to be printed. However, after some time, these ideas were respected. It is possible to consider the 30-50 years of studying the history of literary language as the stage of Professor A. Demirchizade. Because, the most difficult problem of that time was undoubtedly the systematic investigation of "Kitabi-Dada Gorgud", which reflects the truth to connect it with the name of A. Demirchizade. Later, from the research conducted in the field of literary language history, it can be felt that A. Demirchizade is a great scientist. It can be seen how much the sources suffer from the lack of a research tradition, the lack of linguistic sources to refer to, the extreme weight of the issues, they are always at the center of scientific conflicts, they are hardened in disputes, and they protect their pride and prestige.
A. Demirchizade was a scientist who knew what and why our people and linguistics needed, and at the same time had a deep reputation. It can be said that he was an Azerbaijani scientist who
was always ready for all sacrifices in the full sense of the word. In general, like many others, I sincerely admit that "A. Demirchizade is not only the master of dozens of our today's famous linguists, but also of a great generation of our Gorgud literary scholars" (Shamil Jamshidov. "Remembering the Master". "Azerbaijan" newspaper, July 30, 1994 year). A. Demirchizade's research on the problems of the modern Azerbaijani language is also very valuable. His "Modern Azerbaijani language. A number of important problems of linguistics have been solved in the works "Sentence Members" (1947), "Phonetics of the Modern Azerbaijani Language" (1960), "Basics of Azerbaijani Language Orthography" (1969), "Modern Azerbaijani Language" (Part I) (1972). His original ideas about the members of the sentence, the scientific analysis and structure of the adjective, the complex sentence, the simple sentence and its types according to intonation, the precise judgments and conclusions regarding phonetics, spelling and orthography have received their valuable value in our linguistic science. The study of stylistic issues made A. Demirchizade think from the 1930s, that is, from the first years of his research. The use of language norms by a great satirist like M.A. Sabir, his stylistic research, which began with the solution of issues such as the technique of satire, found a comprehensive solution in the work "The Stylistics of the Azerbaijani Language" in 1962, the publication of which was an event in Turkology as a whole. Also, Professor A. Demirchizade was a Methodist teacher in the true sense of the word. In addition to purely research works, his studies in the field of methodology constitute a large part of his activity. A. Demirchizade's research on the teaching methodology of the Azerbaijani language includes high school textbooks and programs, grammar teaching, history of teaching, and helpful writings for teachers. in three major articles entitled "is the basis of educational subjects", A. Demirchizade presented the development path of mother tongue teaching to us with archival documents and instilled this conclusion that the mother tongue polishes and equips the student's understanding to understand everything. Because by learning the mother tongue, the student also learns the ideas and concepts expressed in the language. By this he is ready to understand everything. The subject of all other subjects exists in the mother tongue in its embryonic form. It was the result of the mother tongue - state language policy, which was successfully carried out by our national leader Heydar Aliyev for decades, that the work "Modern Azerbaijani language" was published in 1972 with the signature of the very attentive and visionary head of state. State prize" was awarded. This was a great appreciation of our linguistics, as well as the work of A. Demirchizade along with other scientists.
Azerbaijani language has rich creative possibilities. It is also of great interest that the creative sense of teacher Abdulazal, who is creative with all his soul, coincides with his scientific activity, especially in the early stages of his life, especially in his youth. His unique poems and stories reflecting his artistic attitude to issues of interest, the libretto "Dade Gorgud" and the play "Karaja Choban" are clear examples of A. Demirchizade's ability to use the possibilities of the artistic word. All these are considered as additional portraits of professor A. Demirchizade, a member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Azerbaijan, doctor of philological sciences, laureate of the State Prize. The main features of this portrait revive and perpetuate the bright image of the great linguist, the author of fundamental scientific works.
A. Demirchizade was a selfless scientist who admired Azerbaijan language and linguistics, stood guard over it with honor for decades, brought honor to our linguistic science with his outstanding scientific works, and created a unique school. He felt our language, especially the evolutionary paths of our literary language history, with all his soul and blood, and bravely evaluated and defended its place and role on the all-Turkish scale. He was a linguist-scientist by nature. The world of A. Demirchizade, which was realized in the unusual meeting of artistic imagination and science, in its synthetic unity, never shied away from scientific debates and intense polemics, he always defended and confirmed the truth he believed in and trusted. We students and students knew and loved him as the master of the temple of science, a legendary intellectual complex. It was possible to get the simplest answers to the most difficult questions of science, especially language history, etymology, and ethnolinguistics. We did not see this great scientist, who
was sculpted in front of our eyes with his encyclopedic knowledge, magical cognitive ability, and amazing intellectual level, freeze in front of a question even once. He gave a green light to the impassable paths of our literary language history, which is rich in complex problems, and overcame the gates of the forties. This is how Abdulazal Demirchizade became a mythical hero in our memory. Even today, the world of Demirchizade comes to our aid, takes us by the hand, shows us the headland of impassable roads, the other side of unopened doors.
