The mother tongue teaching methodology in the primary grades is the first stage of the mother tongue teaching methodology in the upper grades, which teaches the subjects it examines in an applied (appropriate) way to the primary school students. d) To enable students to clearly understand and master the material in their mother tongue, to be able to apply their knowledge in practice and to contribute to the general development of students, ie their intelligence, memory, observation, memory, logical thinking; develop methods and tools to help develop creative thinking and speech;

Native language teaching methods identify students' knowledge, skills, and abilities at different stages of learning, identify learning successes and failures, look for reasons, and find ways to correct mistakes and shortcomings.

The subject of mother tongue teaching methods in primary school includes the following sections:

1. Methods of teaching literacy, ie teaching elementary reading and writing. Teaching children to read and write is a very important issue not only in pedagogy, but also in social life. Because the literacy of the people is a weapon in the struggle for independence, for political consciousness, for culture.

2. Reading methods. The task of the primary school subject is to equip children with accurate, fast (moderate), conscious and expressive reading skills.

3. Methods of studying grammar, phonetics, word formation. This section teaches elementary correct spelling and grammar, grammatical concepts, and basic spelling skills.

4. Speech development techniques. This section has a special place in elementary school.

First of all, children understand language and speech as a subject of study, they begin to understand not only what they want and what is interesting, but also the need to create a planned speech, thinking about the necessary things and events. Not only sound education but his alertness and dedication too are most required. The methodology should enrich children's speech, as well as develop syntactic and coherent speech. It should be noted that related speech is studied in schools as a separate department, which is formed in conjunction with other departments of linguistics.
