Introduction

By the order of the state physical culture and sport committee of the Russian Federation mas-wrestling is included into All-Russian kinds of sport register (AKSR). Every year Championships of Russia are held and the amount of people, who are involved into this kind of sport increases [2]. In modern sport, in particular in many kinds of single combats, we see a thorough analysis of technical and tactical actions [1,4,5]. However, mas-wrestling is not studied enough and presented in scientific literature [3]. It conditions the selection of the research topic.

The aim of the research is to substantiate experimentally the use of the complex of exercises, directed toward mas-wrestlers' strength of grasp development.

Materials and methods

In accordance with the official rules of mas-wrestling competitions the combat includes 2 or 3 fights. An athlete wins in a fight if he [6,7]:

1) pulled out the stick off the opponent's hands;

2) pulled the opponent over the supporting

board together with the stick (an athlete is on the opponent's side. He touches the platform with any part of his body on the side of the opponent);

3) an opponent breaks both feet off the supporting board;

4) an opponent got the 2nd warning in this combat;

5) an opponent got one leg over the supporting board and touched the platform or an athlete;

6) an opponent let the stick out of his hand;

7) an opponent touches the supporting board and/ or the side holder of the board with his body and/ or head, knee, hip and/or sets the foot against the holder of the supporting board (steps on the holder of the board).

In order to reveal the peculiarities of competitive activity in mas-wrestling we organized a pedagogical observation. The observation was organized on October, 26, 2020 during the Krasnoyarsk championship, Russia. During the observation we analyzed 35 competitive mas-wrestling combats. There we registered the following competitive activity indices (table 1):

1) technical action, as a result of which an athlete won in the combat;

2) the results of a technical action (the reason why the victory was given in the combat).

Fig. 1. Attacking actions, owing to which athletes won in the fights of the competitive combats

Table 1 shows that most often athletes won in the fight owing to "Sitting draft" attacking action fulfillment. During the observation we registered 61,25% of victories in the fight by means of this technique fulfillment. The second effective attacking action was "Key" technique. In general 13,75% of victories were registered in the fight with the help of this technique. With the help of "Draft in a stand" technique 7,5% of fights were won. Owing to "Stepping" technique fulfillment 6,25% of fights were won in competitive combats. Owing to such techniques as "Ushnitskiy", "Back draft", "Draft with twisting" and "Draft with regrasp" 2,5% of fights were won (fig. 1).

Most fights (65%) were won owing to the fact that as a result of the attacking actions athletes managed to pull the stick out of the opponent's hands. Some fights were won (17,5%) when athletes managed to pull an opponent to another side of the platform. 10% of the fights were won because the opponent let one hand off the stick. In 6,25% of the fights an opponent touched the supporting board or the side hold of the board with his body, head, knee, hip or set the foot against the holder of the supporting board. In 1,25% of the competitive fights the opponent got one leg over the supporting board (Fig. 2).

During the research we revealed that the main factor, which influences the success of competitive activity in mas-wrestling, is the strength of the grasp. Most fights (65%) were won owing to the fact that as a result of the attacking

actions athletes managed to pull the stick out of the opponent's hands. The results of our observations show that not developed enough hands and forearm muscles, which provide the strength of the grasp, don't let athletes effectively fulfill defensive and attacking actions.

We created the complex of exercises directed toward the strength of the grasp development in mas-wrestling. The following exercises were included into the complex:

1. Alternating sorting out 15, 20, 25 kg weight using a plucking grasp. Dosage: 3-4 attempts 15 repetitions each into both sides.

2. 15, 20, 25 kg weight holding by a plucking grasp. Dosage: 3 attempts for each hand to capacity.

3. Wrist bending with the weight in a sitting position, forearms on the knees. Dosage: 3-4 attempts 10-15 times each.

4. Slow fingers bending with the bar in the hands down with fixation in the upper point in a standing position. Dosage: 3-4 attempts 15-20 times each.

5. Walking with the weight in hands. Dosage: 3-4 distance parts 20 m each.

6. Turns of the body from hanging position with one hand (direct grasp) at a high bar with another hand regrasp. Dosage: 2 attempts to capacity.

7. Hang at a high bar with a straight grasp. Dosage: 2 attempts to capacity. In order to check experimentally the effectiveness of the created by us complex of exercises in the training process of mas-wrestling we organized a pedagogical experiment.

The experiment was organized on the basis of sport complex "Bogatyr". 20 athletes at the age of 18-20 took part in the experiment. At the beginning of the experiment we organized control combats between the participants of the research and testing the initial indices of athletes' grasp strength. As a testing exercise for the strength of grasp estimation we chose hang at a high bar with

a straight grasp (sec.) [5]. Taking into account the results of the control combats and the initial indices of the grasp strength the participants were divided into the control and the experimental group. Table 2 presents the results of the control combats at the beginning of the experiment. Table 3 presents the results of testing the strength of the grasp at the beginning of the experiment.

Then the training process of the experimental group included created by us complex of exercises, directed toward the strength of the grasp development. The presented complex was fulfilled by the athletes twice a week. The duration of the experiment was 3 months. At the end of

the experiment we additionally organized control combats and the athletes' strength of the grasp testing. Table 4 presents the results of the control combats at the end of the experiment. Table 5 presents the results of testing the strength of the grasp.

(P<0,05).

Results and Discussion

We revealed the value of special power oriented abilities of mas-wrestlers in competitive activity. During the pedagogical observation we revealed that the main motor action is a draft. It was stated that in mas-wrestling competitions most fights were won owing to "Sitting draft" attacking technique fulfillment (61,25%). We also revealed that the main factor, which influences the success of competitive activity in mas-wrestling, is the strength of the grasp. Most fights (65%) were won owing to the fact that as a result of the attacking actions athletes managed to pull the stick out of the opponent's hands. At the same time there were cases of a complete or partial stick pulling out of the opponent's hands even by means of the techniques. They are directed toward an opponent pulling to the other side of the platform. In most cases (69,4%) of "Sitting draft" the attacking actions application athletes managed to grasp the stick out of the opponent's hands and in 10,2% of cases they managed to grasp the stick partially using this technique. In 16,6% of "Draft in a stand" technique fulfillment athletes won the combat owing to the

stick grasp out of the opponent's hands. It proves that athletes have weak hands and forearm muscles. They provide the strength of the grasp, and it doesn't let effective defensive and counterattack actions fulfillment.

We created the complex of exercises, directed toward the strength of the grasp development in mas-wrestlers. The organized pedagogical experiment proves the effectiveness of this complex of exercises introduction into the training process of mas-wrestlers. It is seen if valid competitive activity and the strength of the grasp indices improvement among the athletes from the experimental group. The average amount of points, gathered by the participants from the control group in the control combats at the end of the experiment was 0,9 (±0,21), in the experimental group- 1,7 (±0,10) (P<0,05). The average duration of the hang at a high bar with the straight grasp among the athletes from the control group was 50,7(±0,90) sec., among the athletes from the experimental group- 53,9(±0,82) sec. (P<0,05). Correlation analysis between the results of the control combats at the end of the experiment and the duration of the hang at a bar at the end of the experiment among the participants of the experimental group showed that the values were statistically valid (rs=0,709).

Conclusion

The results of the held pedagogical experiment prove the effectiveness of the created complex of exercises introduction into the training process of mas-wrestlers. The complex of exercises is directed toward the strength of grasp development.
