DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES IN THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS

ABSTRACT

Digital technologies are developing at a tremendous speed. Many areas of activity are moving to digital systems: hospitals, catering establishments, educational institutions. Experts are increasingly talking about the transition of the school curriculum to electronic format. When this idea is realized, not only the education system will change, but also its meaning and purpose.

The rapidly changing world around us obliges the school to change just as rapidly. Today the world is undergoing a leap into the digital age.

Judge for yourself: tablets, mobile phones, smart watches, virtual reality glasses have become part of the everyday life of today's students. Our digital life is evolving rapidly. And in the classroom, showing presentations, videos, audio applications is no longer a novelty. Digital technologies are the basis of education in the 21st century.

Every modern teacher understands that it is necessary to teach in a new way, using innovative computer technologies in the educational process.

Digital educational resources (CDR) are photographs, video clips, models, role-playing games, cartographic materials that are necessary for organizing the educational process and presented in digital form, selected in accordance with the content of a specific textbook, "tied" to lesson planning and provided with the necessary methodological recommendations.

The introduction of new information technologies, COR, in the educational process makes it possible to activate the learning process, increase the pace of the lesson, and increase the volume of independent and individual work of students. Today, in order for the learning process to be complete, it is necessary that each teacher can prepare and conduct a lesson using various electronic educational

resources, because their use can make the lesson brighter, more exciting, rich, and more effective.

The use of the CRC in geography lessons allows you to diversify the forms of work, the activities of students, activate attention, and increase the creative potential of the individual. The construction of diagrams, tables, presentations allows you to save time, and make the material more aesthetically pleasing. The use of crosswords, illustrations, drawings, puzzles, various entertaining tasks, tests, fosters interest in the lesson, makes it more interesting.

The use of ICT in the classroom allows you to use a variety of illustrative and informational material. Moreover, the material can be found by the students themselves on the Internet and on disks (For example, a very rich material is contained on the disk "Cyril and Methodius Virtual School"). Thus, the informative competence of students is formed. The use of interactive tests helps not only to save the teacher's time, but also enables students to evaluate their knowledge and their capabilities themselves.

The use of animation and animation diversifies the lessons, activates the students.

A lecture using a multimedia projector sounds interesting in the lesson, when the lecture is accompanied by a demonstration of colorful diagrams to students.

It is important to think about where and how it is advisable to use information technology in the lesson.

The use of electronic educational resources in the learning process provides great opportunities and prospects for independent creative and research activities of students.

Electronic educational resources offer the teacher a variety of educational training programs.

Geography lessons are a special conversation. They should be bright, emotional, with the involvement of a large illustrated material, with the use of video accompaniments. All this can be provided by computer technology with its multimedia capabilities.

I would like to focus on those resources that are most often used in the lesson.

Most of the time I use presentations. They can be used when explaining new material, and when consolidating knowledge, and when performing creative tasks. Everything that is possible can be inserted into the presentation: pictures, diagrams, tests, videos, and a link to another ESM. Compared to other resources, the presentation can be considered versatile.

I use animations and illustrations, for example, when explaining new material: these resources clearly demonstrate educational material, allow you to observe various natural phenomena. Also, these resources can be used to organize work (compose a story based on a picture).

In the lessons of generalization and repetition, it is advisable to use interactive tables, diagrams; they help to organize the material studied. However, they can also be used when explaining new material. With the help of tables, children learn to analyze phenomena, draw conclusions and generalizations, and schematically present material. One and the same table can be used throughout the entire period of studying a topic, since tables can be multi-level, containing complete information on any topic.

The main directions of using electronic educational resources in the classroom:

- Visual information (illustrative, visual material)

- Interactive demo material (reference diagrams, tables, concepts)

- Training apparatus

- Control over the skills of students

- Independent search, creative work of students.

The choice of digital teaching aids in a lesson is carried out depending on the purpose of the lesson, the type of lesson:

Digital text materials To support the presentation, anchoring and control phases.

Illustrations and videos At the stage of presentation of new material. Each object includes a comment text that organizes the work.

Electronic assignments When organizing individual independent work of students. The main function of such tasks is training at the stage of consolidation and controlling at the stage of control.

Output:

Digital educational resources (electronic study guides, tutors, simulators, interactive collections, dictionaries, reference books) help the teacher to conduct an interesting lesson, and students to successfully master the material.

CRC can be used at all stages of training:

- when explaining new material;

- when fastening;

- when repeating;

- in the control of knowledge, skills and abilities.

The use of CRC in the classroom is necessary, and it is motivated by the fact that they:

- allow you to effectively organize group and independent work in the lesson;

- contribute to the improvement of practical skills and abilities of students;

- allow you to individualize the learning process;

- increase interest in lessons;

- intensify the cognitive activity of students;

- develop the creative potential of students;

- modernize the lesson.
