This article presents the principles and the current tasks of the development of the education system, and the main part of the reforms implemented in the field of education in Uzbekistan. Also, it demonstrates the reforms in the higher education system and their development in educational system.

DEVELOPMENT OF THE EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM IN UZBEKISTAN

ABSTRACT

This article presents the principles and the current tasks of the development of the education system, and the main part of the reforms implemented in the field of education in Uzbekistan. Also, it demonstrates the reforms in the higher education system and their development in educational system.

Keywords: Pre-school education; general secondary education; secondary special, vocational education; higher education; post-secondary education; improvement of staff qualifications and their retraining; extracurricular education.

It is known that education - upbringing allows a person to understand the secrets of the realization of existence, to adapt to the constantly developing world, to form a worldview, and finally to contribute to the humanization of society. The power and level of development of any country is determined by the education system. The attitude of the state to this system determines its future. Today, continuing education in the Republic of Uzbekistan includes the following types of education:

- preschool education;

- general secondary education;

- secondary special, vocational education;

- higher education;

- post-university education;

- improvement of staff qualifications and their retraining;

- extracurricular education.

In the Republic of Uzbekistan, great work is being done at each stage of such types of education system. Such works can be evaluated as an unprecedented development for a short period of time.

Objectives and tasks of the subject:

The main principles in the field of education are as follows:

- recognition of the priority of education;

- freedom to choose the form of education;

Uzbekistan - 2030 Strategy:

- non-allowance of discrimination in the field of education;

- provision of equal opportunities for education;

- inculcation of national and universal values in education and training;

- humane, democratic nature of education and training;

- continuity and consistency of education;

- compulsory eleven-year education and one-year preparation of children aged six to seven for general secondary education;

- accessibility of education for everyone within the framework of state educational standards and state educational requirements;

- uniformity and differentiation of the approach to the selection of educational programs;

- lifelong learning of a person;

- guaranteed social protection of pedagogues in society;

- secular nature of the education system;

- promotion of knowledge, ability and talent;

- the harmony of state and public management in the education system;

- openness and transparency in the field of educational activities.

Reforms in the higher education system constitute the main part of the reforms implemented in the field of education. In particular,

• to determine the priorities of the systematic reform of higher education in the Republic of Uzbekistan,

• to raise the process of training independent thinking highly qualified personnel to a new level in terms of quality

• to modernize higher education, based on advanced educational technologies.

In order to develop the social sphere and economic sectors, the Concept of the

development of the higher education system of the Republic of Uzbekistan until 2030, approved by the decree of the head of our state on October 8, 2019, is serving as a prelude to new reforms in the field. This document was based on tasks such as the development of integration of science, education and production in order to accelerate intellectual development, train competitive personnel, effectively organize scientific and innovative activities, and strengthen international cooperation. The content of the concept reflects the priorities of the reform of the higher education system of our country. It includes expanding the level of coverage and improving the quality of education in higher educational institutions, introducing digital technologies and educational platforms, attracting young people to scientific activities, forming innovative structures, commercializing the results of scientific

research, achieving international recognition and other improvements. All this serves to raise the educational process to a new level of quality.

Today, it is no secret that the world's prestigious higher education institutions are considered to be the major hotbeds of science. Currently, new higher educational institutions and branches of the world's leading universities are being established. For example, in the last 5 years, 47 new higher education institutions, including branches of foreign universities, were established in our country, and the number of higher education institutions reached 125.

In conclusion, the promising tasks implemented in the field of education are not inferior to the reforms in other fields in terms of their relevance and practical importance. Because it is the demand of the time to continue the reforms in this field on a larger scale. In the 21st century, which is called the age of information technology, development of science and creation of innovations in this regard has become a vital necessity in order to create high progress in all aspects of life -industry, construction, chemistry, agriculture, textiles, mechanical engineering and other fields. This process is now recognized in all developed countries in the world. Special attention is paid to this process in our Republic. It is not by chance that the President of our country started his activities as a leader with a meeting with academicians, leading scientists, people of science in general, and focused on harmonizing the development of science with the development of production in our country.
