The need to strengthen the socio-political foundations of change in the upbringing of young people is a fact that has been proven many times in the course of historical development. In any society and country, it is difficult to achieve the ultimate goals if the social consciousness, cognitive criteria and goals of different strata of the people, parties, national-ethnic units, etc. do not change. Today, in Uzbekistan, which has become an equal member of the world community, a new socio-political system and structures have emerged in a new content and form. All of them opened up the opportunity for young people, including students, to lay the foundations for the formation of new thinking and worldviews in this area.
Spiritual foundations are extremely important in the development of young people. In the ideology of our people, our society, the idea of the Motherland should be a priority. National pride, national pride should be the foundation of any of our work. After all, the formation of a new generation is an integral part of changes in the spiritual realm. In this regard, the ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan, the work on raising the morale of the people, the restoration, preservation, transmission of values created over the centuries, the enjoyment of the universal heritage are of great importance.
The renewal of the principles of shaping the spirituality of young people is a multifaceted process. It has a great social meaning and is manifested in the spiritual life, ideology, culture and renewal of the education system of the society, as well as in the spiritual purification of the people. "Today we are convinced that rescuing people's minds from the complications of the old system, instilling in them new ideas, new ideologies is not a one-year or two-year process, but a long process. But our task in the field of ideology and enlightenment is not only to destroy the poisoned consciousness of our people from the complications of the old dictatorial regime. To think so is to think lightly. Our most important and urgent task now is to develop the members of our society, especially the younger generation, to awaken in them the national idea, national
ideology, a sense of devotion to their homeland, self-awareness, national and universal values.
First of all, the renewal of the worldview of student youth is a social process. That is, it is an integral part of the continuous change in social relations in a country moving from one stage of development to another. A change of thinking is not a set of events that take place outside of society, the social processes that take place in its time, but it reflects in itself all their basic principles. So, this is a historical necessity for our country, which has gained independence and is trying to strengthen it. That is, it is not a transient phenomenon that appears by chance, but the need for a transition period, a radical reform of the spiritual life of society, one of the main directions in the formation of new thinking in citizens. Second, the renewal of the worldview of young people is not only a general spiritual environment, but also a change in the social image, spiritual world, goals and needs of every member of society. In this sense, it is a process that shapes and perfects the perfect qualities of the noble people that our learned ancestors dreamed of. From this point of view, it is also a very complex mental change, the process of getting rid of the enslavement psychology and ideological complications inherent in the dictatorial regime. During this period, it is natural that new radical changes will take place in the social environment, in the system of science, education and upbringing, and in connection with them, in thinking.
Due to the attention paid to education and science in our country during the years of independence, this field is also developing steadily. The renewal of the student worldview is both a process of denial and succession. On the one hand, it is observed that the values that have long existed in the minds of our people, which even the former dictatorial regime could not lose, are being further refined and preserved. The heritage of our ancestors in this area is being restored, and a worthy young generation is emerging. On the other hand, harmful class-party principles that contradict the life of our people have become a thing of the past and have been denied. On the other hand, new principles and directions are gaining ground in the minds of the entire population, including young people, and wide opportunities are opening up.
The pace of development of our country is increasing the demand for innovative, socially active, spiritually and morally mature professionals. Reforms in all spheres of life, the development of democracy and liberalization, economic pluralism, the need to raise spirituality, the transition to market relations, the growth of entrepreneurship, the introduction of new technologies in production require the training of highly educated and highly qualified professionals. Life itself, the improvement of higher education, the growing demands of production require students to learn the basics of science, to pay close attention to other areas of education, as well as the educational process in their lives.
