2Риторические стратегии в англоязычных текстах политического дискурса

В статье исследуются риторические приемы в англоязычных текстах политического дискурсивного пространства. Целью работы является обзор основных коммуникативных стратегий, стилистических приемов, используемых западноевропейскими политическими деятелями. Результаты исследования позволяют определить ключевые фигуры речи, успешно применяемые в текстах политического дискурса. Актуальность работы заключается в анализе риторических приемов в речи англоязычных политических деятелей и определением их влияния на восприятие аудиторией. Выводы обогащают понимание того, какие риторические стратегии наиболее эффективны в текстах политического вектора, что предоставляет ценные рекомендации для специалистов по коммуникации, а также тех, кто стремится улучшить навыки в области публичных выступлений.

«Способность найти доступные средства убеждения в любом случае [1, с. 122]» - именно это, с точки зрения Аристотеля, представляет собой риторика. Безусловно, грамотное использование коммуникативных стратегий усиливает убедительность речи. Грамотное использование необходимых лингвистических стратегий в зависимости от конкретных требований сценария коммуникации - наиболее ценное средство в достижении цели как частной, так и общественной. Действительно, профессиональным политическим ораторам посредством языковых манипуляций удается оказывать влияние на взгляды, желания, страхи масс до той степени, что они готовы поддерживать противоречащую их интересам политику.
Существенной особенностью текстов политических выступлений является «риторическое искусство убедительной аргументации» [2, с. 89], на котором основывается способность политиков воздействовать на людей с целью заставить поверить, что истинность тезиса доказана. Публичные выступления - ключевой инструмент коммуникации политических лидеров с народом, поэтому тексты их речей обязаны быть не только информативными, но и способными вызвать реакцию и влиять на общественное мнение, а значит апеллировать к риторическим приемам - речевым средствам информативного воздействия на разных уровнях языка.
На фонетическом уровне в текстах политического дискурса аллитеративные повторы, по словам В.В. Данилиной, частотны в терминах-словосочетаниях [3, с. 101]: «John Kery, the US secretary of state, told a press conference in London» [26]; «The UK's most senior civil servants could take their first strike action» [13]; ««I would never resign my position on the county council," Webb said» [31 «I couldn't be more thrilled that Crown Court is back in session...» [16]; «Putin declares the Kremlin "has never interfered in other countries' political processes" after meeting Angela Merkel...» [11]; «Security guard protecting ballot box shot in Baltimore» [27]; «The progressive organization Justice Democrats has adopted a four-day working week...» [18] и т.д. Функция клишированных выражений в рамках политического дискурса - дать вербально-декларативную оценку политическим явлениям, субъектам и пр.
Аллитерация начальных фонем в неклиширо-ванных фразах «служит средством повышения их экспрессивности» [Там же]: «I will work day in and day out to deliver for the British people. <...> .that's the only way we will overcome challenges and build a better future for our children and grandchildren» (Rishi Sunak) [31]; «What makes the United Kingdom great

is our fundamental belief in freedom and in fair play» (Liz Truss) [17]; «This house is above any of us» [20].
В приводимых ниже примерах используется фонетическая стратегия кольцевой аллитерации: «Our mandate is based on a manifesto» (Rishi Sunak) [24]; «As Prime Minister, I will pursue three priorities» [17], «Boris made a speech about Brexit» (Liz Truss) [Там же] и пр. Подобный «рамочный» консонантный повтор в начале и в конце синтаксического целого придает ему компактность и завершенность, позволяет оратору актуализировать наиболее значимый смысловой компонент и создает «эффект законченности утверждения» [4, с. 148].
«Вокалическая [6, с. 31] аллитерация - ассонанс - также прослеживается в многочисленных словосочетаниях-клише политического дискурсивного пространства: «Who can call a general election in UK?» [14]; «For British citizens who are in Sweden with right of residence under EU law...» [10]; «...which is what you would expect since it is the official position of the United States government» [23]; «US military can no longer plead "collateral damage"...» [32]; «Former President Donald Trump makes a statement to the media.» [29]; «That year, more than 162,000 people applied for asylum in Sweden» [19]; «How do you solve a problem like Russia?» [15]. Ассонансный повтор фокусирует внимание реципиентов на наиболее значимых отрезках текста.
Повтор фонем [1] / [i:] используется в тексте выступления Дэвида Кэмерона в Палате общин по поводу особого статуса Великобритании в ЕС и референдума 23 июня 2016 года: «We are a great country, and whatever choice we make we will still be great. But I believe the choice is between being an even greater Britain inside a reformed EU or a great leap into the unknown» [25]; ассонансный [au] используется в тексте первой речи Лиз Трасс на Даунинг-стрит: «We need to build roads and homes faster» [17]. Ритмичность, создаваемая фонетико-стилистическим приемом, с легкостью улавливается аудиторией. Созвучные лексемы воздействуют на эмоции адресата, подчеркивая главные темы, положения речи политического оратора.
На лексическом уровне обнаруживаем риторические стратегии, основанные на разновидо-вых повторах. Среди них - повышающие убедительность речи анафорический повтор: «We need more investment and great jobs in every town and city across our country. We need to reduce the burden on families and help people get on in life» (Liz Truss) [Там же]); «It means lower taxes, so people keep more of the money they earn. It means delivering growth that will lead to more job security, higher wages and greater opportunities for our children and grandchildren. <...> But I believe in Britain. I believe in the British people» (Liz Truss) [21]); эпифористический по-_ втор: «Let us listen to one another. Hear one another. c= See one another. Show respect to one another» (Joe ~ Biden) [9]). В данном случае риторический прием сэ основывается на параллельных конструкциях, что = создает эффект идентичности, тождественности z синтаксической формы; окружение, придающее
завершенность высказыванию: «I am confident that together we can: ride out the storm, we can rebuild our economy, and we can become the modern brilliant Britain that I know we can be» (Liz Truss) [21]). Вышеуказанное сверхфразовое единство заканчивается сочетанием subject (pronoun) + verbal predicate, используемое оратором в начальной синтагме, которое становится средством суггестивного речевого воздействия; усиливающая мысль реприза: «President Joe Biden has also stated his support for the One-China principle on many, many occasions» [23]); «Our people have shown grit, courage and determination time and time again» (Liz Truss) [21]); лексический повтор, играющий важную роль в реализации суггестивной функции в политическом дискурсе: «My ideal world is, we're there, we're in the EU, trying to make it better» (Boris Johnson) [22]); «.we know we can be and we must be» (Joe Biden) [9]); анадиплосис - лексический маркер усиления категоричности высказывания - «показывает логическую связь между фразами» [3, с. 98]: «To overcome these challenges requires more than words. It requires that most elusive of things in a democracy: Unity. Unity» (Joe Biden) [9]).
Среди риторических фигур синтаксического уровня стоит выделить риторический вопрос и его различные типы: экспрессивное отрицание, механизм воздействия которого, по словам В.Н. Пила-товой, отражается на «смысловом развертывании, стратегическом и тактическом речевом поведении говорящего» [7]: «In 1904, 20 per cent of journeys were made by bicycle in London. I want to see a figure like that again. If you can't turn the clock back to 1904, what's the point of being a Conservative?» (Boris Johnson) [28] (= There's no point of being a Conservative); вопрос-коммуникация, например, в речи Дэвида Кэмерона приглашает аудиторию к совместному решению проблем: «In a global race, can we really justify the huge number of expensive peripheral European institutions? Can we justify a commission that gets ever larger? And I would ask: when the competitiveness of the single market is so important, why is there an environment council, a transport council, an education council but not a single market council?» [12]; объективизация (вопросно-ответный ход), механизмом которой активно пользуется Джо Байден в текстах своих публичных выступлений: «What are the common objects we love that define us as Americans? I think I know. Opportunity. Security. Liberty. Dignity. Respect. Honor. And, yes, the truth» [9]. Поскольку риторический вопрос (и его типы) играет роль не только актива в достижении экспрессии политического дискурса, но и выступает в качестве индикатора его диалогичности, функции данной коммуникативной стратегии обогащаются. Субъекты политкоммуникации и их взаимосвязь характеризуются посредством использования риторического приема. Стоит сказать, что специфика употребления этой фигуры речи демонстрирует особенности политики как сферы функционирования политического дискурса.
Необходимо обратить внимание на параллелизм синтаксических структур - «семантико-структурное единство двух и более предложений или членов предложения, обладающих синтаксической тождественностью и логико-смысловой общностью» [8, с. 2]. Отметим, что это - предпочтительная риторическая стратегия Бориса Джонсона, в текстах его выступлений обнаруживаем разные виды данного риторического приема: прямой параллелизм («It is easy to make promises - i t is hard work to keep them» [28]); хиастический («My friends, as I have discovered myself, there are no disasters, only opportunities. And, indeed, opportunities for fresh disasters» [Там же]); с сравнением в качестве семантического содержания («The difference between Hitler's speeches and Churchill's speeches was that Hitler made you think he could do anything; Churchill made you think you could do anything» [Там же]); с точки зрения парадигматических отношений составляющих компонентов - основанный на антонимии («Ping-pong was invented on the dining tables of England in the 19th century, and it was called Wiff-Waff! And there, I think, you have the difference between us and the rest of the world. Other nations, the French, looked at a dining table and saw an opportunity to have dinner; we looked at it an saw an opportunity to play Wiff-Waff» [Там же]) и т.д.
Итак, риторика служит политическим субъектам для получения выгоды и изменения политических установок общества. Активное использование риторических стратегий сокращает психологическую дистанцию между оратором и его аудиторией, воздействуя суггестивно, что, безусловно, делает риторику важной составляющей современной политической культуры. Обзор риторических стратегий и коммуникативных приемов в текстах англоязычных публичных выступлений позволяет определить ключевые фигуры речи, успешно применяемые в политическом дискурсе: фонетические (повторы аллитеративный, ассонансный и пр.), лексические (повторы анафорический, эпи-фористический, лексический, анадиплосис, окружение и пр.), синтаксические (риторический вопрос и его виды, параллелизм и пр.).

THE RHETORICAL STRATEGIES IN ENGLISH-LANGUAGE TEXTS OF POLITICAL DISCOURSE

The article explores rhetorical techniques in English-language texts of the political discursive space. The aim of the work is to review the main communication strategies, stylistic techniques used by western European politicians. The results of the study allow us to identify the key figures of speech that are successfully used in the texts of political discourse. The relevance of the work lies in the analysis of rhetorical techniques in the speech of English-speaking politicians and the determination of their influence on the perception of the audience. The findings enrich the understanding of which rhetorical strategies are most effective in the texts of the political vector which provides valuable recommendations for communication specialists, as well as those who seek to improve public speaking skills.
