The period of primary school in the life of a child can be considered as the first stage of enrichment with knowledge about music and composers, acquaintance with the music of different peoples of the world, and fostering a love of music. The system of musical development and upbringing in elementary school is of particular importance, since issues of preserving morality come to the fore - without this, the life of a person is impossible. Music is one of the forms of art, the language of sounds and intonations. Since olden times, people want to live interesting, colorful. Imagine for a moment that there is no music in the world.

Would life be interesting? Of course not! Music serves the understanding of people, helps to find the meaning of life. In our life, music has an important place. She is able to express the deepest thoughts, feelings. A folk song or a symphony composed by a composer, romance or music of modern dance - all this is serious music, all this should enter our life, enrich our inner world. Love music: it will reveal to you a picture of our world. The basis of musical development should, of course, be solid musical knowledge, knowledge of the means of the musical language, the construction of a work and, on the basis of this, an understanding of the role that music plays in our lives.

Younger schoolchildren seeking music knowledge are at an age that is favorable for the formation of elementary concepts. The following age-related features contribute to the successful formation of music education: curiosity, increased emotional sensitivity, responsiveness, credulity, faith in the authority of teachers and parents, and interest in playing activities. Transition of the leading type of activity from gaming to cognitive. The methodology of studying and forming the cognitive interests of students is an issue equally relevant both for the study of the problem and for the practice of training and education. We approach the methods of studying the cognitive interests of schoolchildren primarily from the standpoint of the social determination of a person, his activity - the basis for the development of society and individuality. It is in activity that the most important trends in the formation and development of personality traits are revealed. The process of the formation of cognitive interests, like any other side of the personality, takes place in activity. The main activity of a student is teaching, in the process of which there is a systematic mastery of knowledge in various subject areas, the acquisition and improvement of methods (skills) of cognitive activity, the transformation of goals put forward by society, the school, the

motives of the student. The doctrine lays the foundations of cognitive interests, but does not exhaust all the possibilities of their formation. In any kind of activity, since the cognitive and practical sides for the individual are not isolated, there is the necessary soil for the formation of cognitive interest. Particularly favorable are activities related to the subject of interest of the student (cognitive, labor, social, technical, artistic, literary, musical). In this regard, wide extracurricular activities are of significant interest for the formation of cognitive interests.

The effect of the activity for the formation of the cognitive interests of children depends on its pedagogically correct organization, the use of its objective conditions and internal capabilities of the student's personality. The latter include needs, the system of goals and objectives of the personality, its position, on the basis of which there are complex relationships with the objective world and people, the level of general mental development.

The pedagogical influence of the processes of education and training on the formation of cognitive interests of students is largely due to the activity of students. The activity of the personality as a manifestation of its social nature receives impulses in the process of life and activity, allowing it to acquire ambiguity and diversity for this activity, which is the enrichment of the personality. This creates the possibility of its influence on the environment, on the change in surrounding reality.

The formation of cognitive interests and personality activity are interdependent processes. Cognitive interest engenders activity; in turn, increased activity strengthens and deepens cognitive interest. The lesson, which has survived to many centuries, has survived to the present day, is presented today as one of the main forms of organization of instruction, convenient for dispersing the content of instruction and developing the necessary methods of learning activity for students. For many years, psychologists, methodologists, and practice teachers have been looking for ways to improve the learning process. Consider some areas of the search for learning effectiveness. Programmed training requires the exact selection of information and immediate feedback in training. The theory of the phased formation of mental actions in learning has its positive aspects.

Now, integrated lessons in elementary school have gained particular popularity. Integration is the process of rapprochement, the connection of sciences, taking place along with the processes of differentiation. Integration improves the subject system, helps to overcome its shortcomings and is aimed at deepening the interconnections and interdependence between objects. The task of integration is to help teachers integrate individual elements and parts of different subjects into a single whole with the same goals and learning functions. Integration and gaming techniques make it possible, with less time and effort on the part of children and teachers, to give and receive a more complete amount of information. This is an effective educational - fixing means of education.
