Abstract.

This article deals with the problem offinding up-to-date techniques and methods of increasing motivation to learn foreign languages. One of these forms are innovative pedagogical technologies, implementation of which contributes to effective language learning. The article defines the terms "educational technology" which is able to provide the high level of education, corresponding to the challenges and opportunities of today's world, allows young people to adapt to a fast-changing, unsustainable environment, moving from book content to active content with one common innovative repository of authentic learning materials.

Keywords: innovative technologies, educational technologies, independent work, educational process, cognitive process, educational environment.

In recent years there have been major changes in educational process. The use of modern educational technologies in foreign languages teaching is increasingly being raised. New methods and forms of teaching are appearing, which, in turn, represent not only different technologies of exchange and transfer of information by means of which the learning process is carried out, but also one large system of teaching methods aimed at the development of students' communicative knowledge, improvement of speech skills. The main task of any foreign language is to teach the practical mastery of a foreign language, to form basic knowledge, i.e. the ability to carry out foreign-language and international communication with native speakers. The search for new educational technologies is connected with the lack of motivation in students to foreign language learning. Very often there is no positive motivation, because when learning a foreign language students are faced to some difficulties and do not learn the material due to their psychological peculiarities. Experience shows that the use of different, modern, fresh sources and tools provokes students' interest and increases their motivation to study.

Before looking at ways of increasing motivation, it is worth to remember what motivation is. Motivation is an intrinsic, psychological characteristic of the personality, which finds expression in external manifestations, in a person's attitude to the outside world, motivates various types of activity, sets the current orientation. Learning and cognitive motivation of learners is a process that triggers, directs and supports efforts aimed at the performance of learning activities, a particular approach to learning, realized in the desire to learn well. Motivation is expressed by the inner mood of a person, his confidence in the tasks to be performed. Any cognitive activity includes both knowledge, abilities and skills and motivational components, such as interest and attitudes.

Introducing interactivity into the learning process makes the learner's participation more active. The result of this is that the learner tries to achieve the best possible results. Interactivity helps teachers incorporate

more complex materials. The learning situation can be creatively designed and combined with simulating the learning environment that the students are expected to experience, thereby improving the quality of their learning experience.

Educational technology is a set of techniques, an area of pedagogical knowledge reflecting the characteristics of the underlying processes of pedagogical activity, features of their interaction, the management of which provides the necessary efficiency of the educational process.

The use of modern educational technologies in the process of teaching foreign languages enables the reproduction of learning situations, helps to supplement traditional teaching methods, contributes to the formation of basic skills of foreign language communication, from the awareness of the possibility to express an idea in another language to the independent solution of communicative tasks. It increases students' desire and interest in learning and makes them look at the subjects studied in a new way, thus revealing their creative and intellectual abilities and talents.

The students' joint activity means that everyone makes an individual contribution, knowledge and exchanges ideas. It takes place in an atmosphere of friendliness and mutual support, which enables students not only to gain new knowledge, but also develop their communicative skills: to listen to the opinion of others, to weigh up different points of view, to participate in discussions, to work out common solutions.

The more varied the roles and positions students take, the more varied is the development of a future specialist's personality and his or her thinking activity becomes systemic. Students are encouraged to develop a creative and interested approach to learning and cognitive activities.

Interactive teaching methods are very effective in practical classes. For example, case-study method implies a shift from the method of knowledge accumulation to an activity-based, practice-oriented approach in relation to real-world activities. The aim of this method is to teach participants to analyze information, identify

key problems, select alternative solutions, and evaluate them. The case study approach combines students individual work with the problem situation and group discussion of proposals prepared by each member of the group. This enables the development of group and teamwork skills and expands possibilities to solve typical problems within the scope of the training topics [1].

Innovative educational technologies main source of knowledge is electronic, educational Internet content. The technological operations are to provide feedback to teachers and students, to share knowledge exchange between them.

Innovative educational technologies have the potential to provide a high level of learning due to the tasks and abilities of today's world. It will enable young people to adapt in a fast-changing, fragile environment, moving from book content to active content through a single shared repository of learning materials with an analytical search engine. The quality of the educational material in the repository should be continuously monitored through the introduction of different materials and work in synergy with the learning management systems [2].

When considering current, innovative technologies, it is important to elaborate on the use of Internet resources in foreign language teaching. The possibilities of using online resources are enormous.

The following tasks can be carried out with the help of web resources: to incorporate web-based materials into lesson content; to make students search for information on their own as part of a project; to organize and develop reading skills, using materials from the web to any degree of difficulty; to improve listening skills based on web-based audio online resources; to enrich vocabulary with lexis, abbreviations of a modern foreign language; to study the culture of a particular language.

At the moment there are many websites dedicated to self-study of foreign languages. On such websites one can find ready-made lessons by foreign language teachers, exercises, audio recordings and grammatical explanations that are not clear to the students.

The possibilities of multimedia training programs are expanding every year, enriching the learning environment with bright and dynamic visualization. Pedagogical forums, conferences, roundtables, and remote discussions and distance learning are held on the Internet. Every teacher can create their own website, use ready-made templates and remote consultations available on the World Wide Web. They can post on this site

their own achievements: development of creative lessons and educational activities, didactic materials, etc. The exchange of such methodological developments between teachers will enrich everyone who strives to improve the educational process.

The use of computer technology in a foreign language study opens access to new sources of information, increases motivation of students to receive and process professional information in a foreign language, increases efficiency of independent work, provides new opportunities for creativity, acquisition and consolidation of professional skills, allow to implement qualitatively new forms and methods of teaching a foreign language. Speaking about methodological advantages of teaching a foreign language using multimedia, it should be noted that this method has a greater degree of interactive learning, it allows to choose the pace and level of tasks, improves the speed of mastering grammatical structures and vocabulary acquisition. Technical advantages of this method include the ability to perform technical translation, use grammar and spelling checkers, and use of interactive video and audio clips in teaching oral communication. Having the ability to demonstrate diagrams and drawings on the subject of vocational training, principle of visibility is implemented.

Thus, it is nowadays impossible to imagine the studying process without the use of innovative educational technologies. This kind of technology is firmly established in today's education system. Today, the foreign language teachers have a lot of possibilities, which helps to conduct their classes more interesting and cognitive. These opportunities contribute to a more active learning experience for the students. Compared to the traditional method of teaching, the new introduction to teaching inevitably changes the role of the teachers. Their task becomes to increase the students' independent work and to support their personal development. This kind of teaching increases the motivation to study, significantly increases interest in learning and gives good results in forming communication skills as compared to traditional methods.
