ADVANTAGES OF USING LANGUAGE EDUCATION TECHNOLOGIES AT THE PRESENT STAGE
Annotation: The language education system is an Association of certain social institutions, the purpose of which is to teach the younger generation foreign languages.
Key words: education system, English language, method, immersion in the language environment, "Languageportfolio" technology.
High-quality language education is characterized by a comprehensive approach to the educational process, the presence of a unified curriculum and the use of progressive language techniques. The most progressive ones are based on the principles of developing learning and problem-solving [1].
What distinguishes a person who speaks a foreign language:
• no communication problems when entering another country;
• getting new knowledge about another culture;
• improved knowledge of the native language;
• the opportunity for career growth;
• nonverbal communication skills.
There are various forms of learning a foreign language. This can be a distance form, or a full-time form within the University, courses, etc. Let's talk about them in more detail and analyze their advantages.
Some technologies for learning a foreign language, which we will focus on:
• distance course;
• multimedia technologies.
Let's consider in more detail the listed methods of learning a foreign language; let's talk about their advantages and disadvantages.
Let's start with one of the most effective methods of learning a foreign language-immersion in the language environment. Immersion in the language environment is one of the most popular methods of learning foreign languages. This refers to the student's immersion in the natural language environment of native speakers (a trip abroad to learn a foreign language). This is usually available in two formats:
• study abroad;
• intensive foreign language courses with native speakers.

The first format is available to students who can afford it. Studying in foreign universities is prestigious, but not available to everyone. There is a generally accepted opinion that a particularly effective way to learn English is to participate in various international language programs. It is believed that for many reasons, summer foreign language courses are the best option, since you can immerse yourself in the English-speaking environment.
The main advantages of the immersion method:
• a person remembers the main spoken phrases during their stay in a new country. Immersed in the natural language environment, the learner can easily perceive the main conversational patterns, which, however, does not provide mastering the language system. In stores and gas stations, local residents speak just a colloquial and simple language;
• correct pronunciation of a foreign language;
• unlimited communication with native speakers;
• immersion in the cultural environment of another country-expanding knowledge about the world;
• active pastime;
• a diploma of completion of courses abroad, which is a pass to many prestigious jobs.
Indeed, from the point of view of the speed of learning a new language, immersion in the environment is the best option. However, as with every system, there are drawbacks when diving into the language environment. Let's list them:
• the inability to study the structure of a foreign language in depth, which does not allow you to consciously use it, which leads to the erosion of already acquired skills, conversational skills remain unstable;
• problems with making complex constructions in your native language;
• forgetting some difficult words in your native language.
Learning a foreign language using the "Language portfolio" technology.
One of the most effective technologies for teaching a foreign language is the "Language portfolio" technology. The language portfolio technology combines the student's personal growth and the development of new language skills. Personal growth is a productive feature of this technology, as it contributes to the development of a person as a person and helps to obtain new knowledge in the field of language and culture acquisition. Also, this technology allows you to clearly see how quickly the student learns the language and what progress is.
The language portfolio includes: passport; language biography of the student; personal dossier. At the end of the training period, each student comes out and presents their personal results in the form of a presentation. The "language portfolio" technology has proven its advantages in practice, because:
• based on competition within the team (within the study group);
• helps to reveal the inner potential of each student;
• designed to gain new knowledge not only in the field of a foreign language, but also the cultural characteristics of the country (for example, if we

are talking about English, the student gets new knowledge about the history of England).
Learning a foreign language is also possible at a high quality level in foreign language courses. Quality is usually provided by modern methods, advanced technologies, pedagogical innovations, and author's methods. You should also pay attention to what certificates are issued by the courses, as well as whether the courses prepare for international exams. Before you decide on specific English courses of course, you need to clearly understand what result you want to achieve after completing them. There are the following types of courses taught:
• spoken language;
• business language;
• technical (highly specialized) language;
• literary language.
The spoken language program will be very different from the technical language program. The difference will also be noticeable in the training method.
Let's list the advantages of learning a foreign language in the course format:
• competition between students. Occurs in any team with more than three people. The student secretly wants to be better than others, so he spends a lot of time on training;
• ability to communicate in a foreign language with various course participants;
• group listening;
• ability to choose a convenient schedule (you can find it on weekends and on weekdays);
• ability to choose the teacher you like;
• payment for classes before the start of the course. This gives an incentive not to miss classes. Now let's list some disadvantages of English language courses:
• the presence of two or three people (leaders) who master the material faster than the rest of the students. It is these people who have to wait until all other students have mastered the program;
• the distance of the place where classes are held from the student's home. When choosing courses you should pay attention:
• for professional training of teachers. They must have diplomas confirming their competence;
• for the content of textbooks and manuals, it is better if they are built on authentic material;
• on the approach to learning;
• for the number of people in the group;
• distance from the place of residence;
• for the total cost of the program.

Learning a foreign language in the format of courses is recognized as one of the most effective in comparison with other ways of mastering new material due to the combination of modern methods, group and individual activities, focus on results. Students consistently pass first one stage, then move on to the second, and so on. Levelness is also an advantage of the courses, since you can start with the level of communication competence that you have.
We have considered the advantages and disadvantages of various opportunities to learn foreign languages and some modern methods of obtaining high-quality language education. Each of them has its own advantages and disadvantages. It is worth noting that:
• any quality education must be systematic;
• innovative methods of learning a foreign language have already proved their effectiveness;
• those who have mastered a foreign language become really valuable personnel.
