Tourism is an important component of the country's rapidly developing national economy. It plays a leading role in the socio-economic development of the country, in particular, in the formation of the gross domestic product, employment, raising the standard and quality of life, and most importantly, the formation of the state budget. Also, this sector is inextricably linked with other sectors and branches of our national economy, which affect the development of each other. On the one hand, the tourism sector has a significant impact on the development of other sectors and sectors of the national economy, on the other hand, the opportunities and prospects for its development are determined by indicators of the development of other sectors and sectors. Uzbekistan is the country of different nationalities, religions and cultures.

Its rich historical heritage is a region populated in harmony with the development of modern architecture and high technology. There are high mountains, hot deserts, endless lakes, magnificent valleys and gardens. Undoubtedly, the tourist and recreational potential of Uzbekistan is enormous. There are more than 7000 cultural heritage sites, more than 200 are located in 4 historical cities - Khiva, Bukhara, Shakhrisabz and Samarkand. All of them are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. In addition, the country has 8 reserves, 2 natural and 1 national park, 6 natural monuments, 11 reserves, more than 50 water protection zones, which are also attractions of tourist sites. Therefore, in our opinion, in recent years, the country has gradually implemented comprehensive measures to diversify the national economy, accelerate regional development, create new jobs, increase income and living standards, and increase the country's investment attractiveness. increases. A striking example of this is the following changes:

• From February 10, 2018, citizens of the State of Israel, the Republic of Indonesia, the Republic of Korea, Malaysia, the Republic of Singapore, the Republic of Turkey and Japan, as well as crew members of foreign airlines operating regular flights to the Republic of Uzbekistan, will be issued visas for a period of 30 days. the regime has been established;

• Target parameters for the construction of hotels in the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2019-2021, promising investment projects for their organization and creation of cultural facilities and institutions using modern information technologies;

• The procedure for the temporary registration of foreign citizens in the country has been simplified, and this procedure has been transferred to a completely electronic format "Electronic Guest". This system gives foreign citizens the right to register foreign citizens who travel on their own through residential and medical institutions, travel agencies, private houses, guest house owners, as well as via the Internet and mobile applications.

Methodology of the research. The current condition of tourism industry in Uzbekistan has been analyzed by using "mathematical modeling', "eco-mathematical", "eco- statistic" methods. Statistics are made by the help of official statistic sites of Uzbekistan.

Development of the Concept for the Development of Tourism in the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2019-2025 with the aim of creating favorable conditions for the development of tourism, especially in the private sector, increasing the competitiveness and quality of services, active and comprehensive promotion of the national tourist product in the world market. these include a number of facilities aimed at the rapid development of the industry. In his address to the Parliament on January 24, 2020, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh. Mirziyoyev said: "One of the important tasks facing the state is to ensure an increase in the flow of tourists to our country this year to 7.5 million people. It is known that a number of influential foreign publications have included Uzbekistan in the list of countries worth visiting in 2020. We need to use this attention and trust effectively, "he said. Research shows that Uzbekistan is becoming an increasingly popular destination for tourism lovers. At the end of 2018, the number of tourists visiting our country doubled - from 2.6 million to 5.3 million, and in 2019 this figure reached 6.7 million, which is 26% more than in the previous year. In general, the growth trend in the development of the tourism sector can be seen in the figure presented in the diagram below. As in other sectors and branches of the economy, the issue of employment is an important indicator in defining the characteristics of the tourism services industry from an industrial, socio-economic and strategic point of view. Since the development of the tourism services sector is usually associated with a labor force, in

different countries the government focuses on the contribution of tourism to employment and job creation.

In each country, the state employment policy is considered as part of the country's socio-economic development policy. The reason is that the rapid development of sectors of the economy affects the level of employment. In many developed countries, the tourism sector plays an important role in shaping the country's GDP, creating additional jobs and employment, and enhancing the foreign trade balance. In other words, the tourism industry plays a unique catalyst for the country's socio-economic development. According to the forecast of the World Tourism Organization, the number of tourists will reach 1.6 billion in 2020, and revenues from world tourism will grow to $ 2 trillion by 2020. In Uzbekistan, the share of the population employed in the tourism sector in total employment is significantly lower than in other developed countries. At the current stage of development, employment in the tourism industry and related sectors of the country's economy is about 13273.1 thousand people. 46.9 thousand of them - workers in the tourism industry.

In conclusion, we believe that the great attention paid in recent years to the tourism sector and the huge efforts aimed at developing this sector determine the role of our country in accelerating socio-economic processes.
