and secondly, the teacher's methodology and skill are of paramount importance. In this regard, the teacher's responsibility extends beyond imparting subject knowledge to encompass the development of practical skills and abilities.
Within the methodology of teaching foreign languages, particularly English as a foreign language, high motivation is widely recognized as a key determinant of successful language acquisition. In this context, motivation is understood as an incentive that stimulates activity by satisfying human needs. It encompasses a combination of external and internal conditions that guide and direct the learner's engagement. The values, interests, and ideals prevalent in society act as motivational factors [1].
To enhance students' motivation in learning English, teachers introduce several conditions into the pedagogical process. Firstly, interactive teaching methods are employed. Secondly, linguistic and cultural material is incorporated. Thirdly, intersubject communications are utilized. Fourthly, a favorable and relaxed atmosphere is created. Finally, learning by example is emphasized. These conditions activate cognitive activity and promote more effective mastery of the English language among foreign students.
While the traditional approach to organizing the educational process may lead to a high level of knowledge acquisition and skill development, it falls short in fostering individual development and unlocking students' potential. Therefore, one promising approach to enhancing students' motivation to learn English is through the use of interactive teaching methods. These methods not only facilitate language acquisition but also cultivate students' creative thinking abilities.
Interactive teaching methods encompass a range of techniques, including role-playing games, working with subject cards, solving crossword puzzles, and using matching exercises [2]. Role-playing games involve simulated scenarios that prompt students to solve everyday problems of various contexts. For instance, a role-playing game centered around urban transport allows students to assume the roles of taxi drivers or conductors, applying the studied vocabulary and syntactic constructions in relevant contexts. Working with subject cards is beneficial for reviewing and reinforcing lexical material, while crossword puzzles enhance skills in using synonyms and distinguishing commonly used words from their professional counterparts. Matching exercises are useful for checking new vocabulary and expressions.
Another crucial aspect of motivating students in learning English is the incorporation of linguistic and cultural material.

Systematic discussions about the customs, traditions, and daily life of the target language open a window into the cultural world of native speakers. Topics such as English national holidays, customs, events, proverbs, and landmarks serve as glimpses into the culture of the English-speaking population. Throughout the academic year, students should also be acquainted with various aspects of English culture, including national cuisine, literature, music, painting, and cinematography.
Additionally, watching films provides students with the opportunity to hear authentic speech from native speakers and witness real-life situations discussed in the classroom. Through collective cognitive activity during film screenings, even inattentive students become engaged and focused on understanding the content. This immersive atmosphere fosters active learning and deeper comprehension.
In summary, the development of motivation in English language classes relies heavily on the actions and strategies employed by the teacher. The teacher's primary task is to organize the educational process effectively by implementing pedagogical conditions such as interactive teaching methods, the incorporation of linguistic and cultural material, the utilization of interdisciplinary connections, the creation of a favorable atmosphere of communication, and learning by example. By employing these conditions in a comprehensive manner, a high level of motivation can be achieved in the process of learning English as a foreign language.
In order to create a motivating learning environment, the use of interactive teaching methods proves to be highly effective. Role-playing games, for instance, allow students to actively engage in real-life situations, enabling them to apply the language skills and knowledge they have acquired. This technique not only enhances their linguistic abilities but also promotes critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. By assuming different roles and interacting with their peers, students become more motivated and invested in the learning process [2].
Working with subject cards is another valuable method to reinforce vocabulary and language comprehension. Students can review and practice vocabulary in a fun and interactive manner. They can match words with corresponding definitions, create sentences using the given words, or engage in group activities that involve describing or discussing the concepts represented on the cards. This technique not only helps solidify their knowledge but also encourages collaborative learning and active participation.
Crossword puzzles are effective tools for enhancing word association, expanding vocabulary, and developing word recognition skills. Students can solve puzzles that require them to find synonyms or antonyms of given words, thus promoting a deeper understanding

of word usage and context. This activity encourages students to think critically, make connections, and expand their linguistic repertoire.
Matching exercises are particularly useful for introducing and reinforcing new vocabulary and expressions. By associating words or phrases with their corresponding meanings or images, students develop a stronger grasp of the language and improve their memory retention. This technique also encourages students to actively engage with the material and enhances their ability to recall and use new vocabulary in practical contexts.
In addition to interactive teaching methods, the incorporation of linguistic and cultural material is crucial for motivating students in the process of learning English. By exploring the customs, traditions, and way of life of English-speaking communities, students gain a deeper appreciation for the language and its cultural context. By discussing topics such as national holidays, customs, and landmarks, students develop a sense of connection and curiosity towards the language and its associated culture. This not only enhances their motivation but also broadens their cultural awareness and intercultural competence [3].
Moreover, exposing students to English literature, music, painting, and cinematography further enriches their understanding of the language and its artistic expressions. Students can be encouraged to read literary works in English, listen to English songs, explore English paintings, and watch English films. By immersing themselves in these cultural artifacts, students develop a stronger sense of language aesthetics, cultural nuances, and creativity. This exposure sparks their interest and motivation, as they realize the intrinsic value and beauty of the English language and its associated arts.
Furthermore, incorporating films into the classroom setting provides an immersive experience for students. Watching films in English allows students to hear authentic language use, observe native speakers' intonation, gestures, and cultural references, and gain exposure to real-life situations. This visual and auditory stimulation enhances comprehension skills, expands vocabulary, and improves pronunciation and listening abilities. By creating a shared experience in the classroom, film screenings foster collaborative learning and create a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to actively engage with the content [4].
In conclusion, motivation plays a crucial role in the process of learning English as a foreign language. While personal aspiration is essential, the teacher's methodology and the learning environment are equally significant factors in fostering motivation. By implementing

interactive teaching methods, such as role-playing games, subject cards, crossword puzzles, and matching exercises, teachers can actively engage students and promote language learning in a dynamic and enjoyable way. Additionally, the incorporation of linguistic and cultural material, including discussions of customs, traditions, and cultural aspects, as well as exposure to literature, music, painting, and films, enhances students' motivation by providing them with a deeper understanding of the language and its cultural context. Through these activities, students develop a sense of connection, curiosity, and appreciation for the English language and its associated culture.
The teacher plays a vital role in creating a motivating learning environment. It is the teacher's responsibility to organize the educational process effectively by implementing the pedagogical conditions discussed earlier. By utilizing interactive teaching methods, the teacher can actively involve students in the learning process, fostering their creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. The teacher should carefully design and facilitate role-playing games, subject card activities, crossword puzzles, and matching exercises to ensure that students are actively engaged and motivated to participate.
Furthermore, the teacher should provide opportunities for students to explore linguistic and cultural material. This can be done through discussions, presentations, and multimedia resources that focus on the customs, traditions, and daily life of English-speaking communities. By immersing students in the cultural aspects of the language, the teacher enables them to develop a deeper appreciation for the language and its rich cultural heritage. Additionally, integrating literature, music, painting, and films into the curriculum allows students to explore different forms of artistic expression and further enhances their motivation and understanding of the language.
Creating a supportive and relaxed atmosphere in the classroom is also crucial for maintaining students' motivation. The teacher should strive to establish a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves and taking risks in their language learning journey. This can be achieved through encouraging open communication, providing constructive feedback, and fostering a sense of belonging and mutual respect among students. When students feel valued and supported, they are more likely to be motivated to actively participate and engage in the learning process.
Moreover, learning by example is an effective way to motivate students. The teacher should act as a role model by demonstrating enthusiasm, passion, and a genuine love for the English language and its culture. This can be achieved through incorporating personal

experiences, anecdotes, and real-life examples into the lessons. By sharing their own passion and excitement for the language, the teacher inspires students and instills in them a sense of curiosity and motivation to explore further.
In order to reinforce the importance of motivation in the language learning process, it is essential for teachers to assess and evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback. Recognizing and acknowledging students' efforts and achievements can significantly enhance their motivation and self-confidence. This can be done through regular assessments, individualized feedback, and celebrating students' successes. By providing a clear understanding of their progress and areas for improvement, teachers empower students to take ownership of their learning and strive for continuous growth.
In conclusion, motivation plays a vital role in the process of learning English as a foreign language. It is influenced by various factors, including the teacher's methodology, the use of interactive teaching methods, the incorporation of linguistic and cultural material, the creation of a supportive learning environment, and learning by example. By implementing these strategies effectively, teachers can enhance students' motivation and engagement, leading to more effective language learning outcomes. Ultimately, fostering a love for the language and its associated culture enables students to develop the necessary skills and abilities to succeed in their English language learning journey.
