Abstract: This article discusses the method of teaching chemistry at a pedagogical university.

Keywords: chemistry, training, method, methodology, innovation

At the present stage of development of society, the problem of educating the younger generation through the subject-psychological direction of pedagogical activity has become particularly acute. Many university professors are not sufficiently proficient in teaching their subject. The majority of professional chemists are trained in pedagogical universities, so there is no urgent need for a high school to train a qualified teacher and teacher.

One of the problems in teaching chemistry in high school is that the time allotted for the study of this discipline is reduced to a minimum. Only one semester is devoted to the study of methods, it is 180 hours. The objective of this course is to teach students the basics of conducting laboratory and practical classes with the formulation of a research type of work with students, acquainting students with both standard programs and author techniques. The study of this discipline should contribute to the acquisition of the following skills: working with laboratory equipment and teaching aids; the development of theoretical material to prepare for seminars; design of independent works on topics in the form of essays or scientific reports at seminars; the use of the knowledge gained in the practice of student training. A course of chemistry teaching designed for a short time hardly forms the methodological thinking and independence of a chemical experiment among students of NUUz. There is no need to talk about the possibility of further fully teaching chemistry at school or at a university.

The next problem is that, according to the curriculum, 30 hours are devoted to laboratory classes. In the curriculum are planned only lab classes, practical knowledge of this discipline is not provided. During laboratory classes, students need to acquire skills in demonstrating chemical experiments, master the methods of teaching the subjects of the school curriculum in chemistry, methods of teaching students how to solve chemical problems, learn how to plan and conduct lessons and much more. It should be noted that if skills in solving problems and the theoretical foundations of chemistry can be considered in practice and seminars, then the ability to properly conduct student and demonstration experiments, solving experimental problems must be formed in laboratory and practical classes. It should be noted that the skills of conducting a chemical experiment (learned in the classroom teaching chemistry methods) also contribute to the development of abilities in the scientific work of the student, even if it is not devoted to teaching.

It should be noted another problem - informatization of higher education as the implementation of a set of measures aimed at improving the level of training of specialists by expanding the use of computers and computer technologies in educational and research work, in managing the educational process. In this case, the informatization of the chemistry teaching process is necessary. Informatization creates additional opportunities for students to stimulate creative thinking, enhances the importance of their independent work, simplifies the control and self-control of independent work. This increases the level of individual work of the teacher, changing the ratio between the intellectual and routine components in the academic work.

It is in high school students begin to seriously engage in scientific work. The organization of students' research activities creates positive results: they form scientific thinking, and not just the accumulation of knowledge. Research gives you the opportunity to develop your intelligence in an independent creative activity, taking into account individual characteristics and aptitudes. Thus, research work is an excellent field of activity for students, in the fulfillment of which practical, socially significant tasks are solved, as well as self-realization of the personality and humanity is formed in relation to the world around.

To solve the problem that contributes to the formation of elements of the chemical-informational culture of the individual in the process of studying chemistry teaching methods, a sufficient number of computers, projectors and interactive boards are necessary. We consider it important to emphasize the need for mandatory inclusion of lectures on the use of computer technology in teaching in the training program on chemistry teaching methods.

A student should be able to operate with various computer programs for schooling, since with their help students' learning and cognitive activity is activated, their independence is developed through chemistry, computer science, and information technology in the communicative activities of the teacher and students. In addition, with the help of various computer programs in chemistry, it is possible to organize operational control and self-control of the results of educational, cognitive and creative activities with subsequent correction of the learning process.
