MODERN WAYS IN TEACHING ENGLISH LANGUAGE
Abstract: the article is devoted to a review of modern methods and approaches to teaching English. Language is the main tool of communication in the modern world, so its study is becoming increasingly relevant. The article discusses various teaching methods, including communicative, project-based, intercultural approaches, the use of information technology and gamification. The advantages and disadvantages of each approach are also analyzed, as well as the possibilities of combining them to achieve the best learning results.

In the modern world, English is one of the most popular languages in the world. It is used in business, education, travel and daily life. Therefore, teaching English is becoming increasingly important.
There have been significant changes in English language teaching in recent years. Traditional teaching methods based on the study of grammar and translation are gradually giving way to more modern approaches focused on communication.
Basic modern approaches to teaching English
• Communicative approach. This approach is based on the fact that language is a means of communication. Therefore, teaching English should be aimed at developing communication skills.
• Integrated approach. This approach involves a combination of different teaching methods such as grammar, translation, reading, writing and speaking.
• Technological approach. This approach uses modern technology to teach English.
Technological innovations in teaching English
Technology plays an increasingly important role in English language teaching. They make learning more effective and interesting.
Modern technologies for teaching English include:
• Online educational platforms. Such platforms provide access to a wide range of learning materials, including video tutorials, interactive exercises and tests.
• Mobile applications. Mobile applications allow you to learn English anywhere and anytime.
• Virtual reality and augmented reality. These technologies allow you to immerse yourself in the language environment and gain a more complete understanding of the culture of the country of the language being studied.

Learning English is becoming increasingly popular these days. This is due to many reasons, such as globalization, the development of international relations, the growth of tourism, as well as the desire to receive quality education abroad. In this regard, modern methods of teaching English are constantly developing and improving. In this article we will consider the main modern approaches to teaching English and their features.
Communication technique. One of the most popular approaches to teaching English is communicative. Its essence lies in the fact that students learn to communicate in English using various types of speech activities: speaking, listening, reading and writing. The focus is on developing communication skills rather than memorizing grammar rules and vocabulary.
