The article focuses on the positive impact of music on the comprehensive development of children, the need to introduce children to musical activities. The content of the questionnaire addressed to the musical directors of the preschool education institution is presented, which was developed to study the interest of these subjects of the educational process in the development of musical perception in children from 2 to 3 years old. Analyzed the quantitative and qualitative results of the survey.

INTEREST OF MUSIC DIRECTORS IN WORK TO DEVELOP MUSICAL PERCEPTION IN CHILDREN FROM 2 TO 3 YEARS

Abstract. The article focuses on the positive impact of music on the comprehensive development of children, the need to introduce children to musical activities. The content of the questionnaire addressed to the musical directors of the preschool education institution is presented, which was developed to study the interest of these subjects of the educational process in the development of musical perception in children from 2 to 3 years old. Analyzed the quantitative and qualitative results of the survey.

The musical development of children should be given special attention, since it has a tremendous impact on the emotional sphere of the child. Musical and educational activities in the institution of preschool education are associated with the upbringing of children by means of music, introducing them to the world of beauty, and forming the foundations of musical culture in them [2]. Music teaches children to empathize, encourages self-expression, has a positive effect on the physical condition of children, increases the stability of attention. D.B. Kabalevsky wrote: «The meaning of music goes far beyond art. Just like literature and fine arts, music decisively intrudes into all areas of upbringing and education, and is a powerful means of shaping the child's spiritual world» [1, p. 5].

In order to study the interest of music leaders in the development of musical perception in children from 2 to 3 years old, an online survey was conducted on the basis of the state educational institution «Nursery Garden No. 492 in Minsk». The study involved music directors in the amount of 3 people. Questionnaires were provided to them through the service for creating feedback forms Google Forms. Access link - https://goo.su/8tV8kV. Music directors using technical devices (smartphones, tablets, computers, laptops) were surveyed, answering questions. The questionnaire includes the following questions:

1. In your opinion, is it necessary to develop musical perception in children from 2 to 3 years old? What is the importance of musical perception in the overall development of the child?

2. In your opinion, what types of musical activities in your classes do children like the most? Choose two options.

I. Listening to music.

II. Singing.

III. Making music on children's musical instruments.

IV. Musical and rhythmic activity.

3. Do you experience difficulties in organizing the process of listening to music in the classroom? Which?

4. Do you think teachers should organize musical activities with children outside of music classes?

5. Do you need to improve your level of knowledge about the organization of the process of development of musical perception in children from 2 to 3 years old?

6. Do you need methodological support for the development of musical perception in children from 2 to 3 years old?

An analysis of the survey of musical directors of a preschool education institution in the amount of 3 people allows us to draw the following conclusions: all respondents (3 people - 100%) spoke about the need to develop musical perception in children from 2 to 3 years old, since this contributes to the holistic development of children (1 person - 33 %), develops musical abilities (3 respondents - 100%), influences the upbringing of positive personal qualities in children (2 people - 67%) (Appendix E). When asked what types of musical activities in the classroom children like the most, music directors indicated «playing music on children's musical instruments» (3 people - 100%), «musical and rhythmic activities» (2 people - 67%), «singing» (1 person - 33%). When organizing the process of listening to music in the classroom, most teachers have no difficulties (2 respondents - 67%). The teacher (1 person - 33%) has a different opinion, for whom the difficulties lie in the distractibility of children in the process of listening, their disobedience. Music leaders believe that teachers should organize musical activities with children outside of music classes (3 respondents - 100%). When asked about the need to increase their level of knowledge about the organization of the process of development of musical perception in children from 2 to 3 years old and its methodological support, music directors answered in the affirmative (3 respondents - 100%).

Thus, the interest of musical directors in the work on the development of musical perception in children from 2 to 3 years old was revealed. This gives grounds for the development of methodological support for this process.
