The article reveals the importance of using distance learning technologies at the present stage of ICT development in the process of training foreign students - future teachers of computer science. The place and role of distance learning technologies in the system of higher education are determined. The concept of distance learning technologies, distance learning support systems is considered and the concept of "electronic training course" is specified, the basic principles of methods of using distance learning technologies and its components are defined. Different types of distance learning technologies are considered. The result of the study is the development of e-learning courses in computer science disciplines, adapted for foreign students, and guidelines for the use of distance learning technologies in the training of future teachers of computer science.

IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF TEACHING COMPUTER SCIENCE DISCIPLINES TO FOREIGN STUDENTS

Abstract: The article reveals the importance of using distance learning technologies at the present stage of ICT development in the process of training foreign students - future teachers of computer science. The place and role of distance learning technologies in the system of higher education are determined. The concept of distance learning technologies, distance learning support systems is considered and the concept of "electronic training course" is specified, the basic principles of methods of using distance learning technologies and its components are defined. Different types of distance learning technologies are considered. The result of the study is the development of e-learning courses in computer science disciplines, adapted for foreign students, and guidelines for the use of distance learning technologies in the training offuture teachers of computer science.

Successful integration of the higher education system into the international education system is primarily associated with guarantees of high level and quality of theoretical and practical vocational training, providing intellectual, scientific, innovative and cultural potential of foreign graduates. The application of the latest ICT in the educational process of higher education requires changes in the teaching methods of almost all disciplines, the study of which is provided by the relevant training programs for foreign students. This is especially true for the training of foreign students - future teachers of computer science, as their training requires the systematic use of ICT. This leads to higher requirements for ICT competencies of students and teachers. These features require the widespread use of innovative approaches to the organization of the educational process of future teachers of computer science.

The use of modern technologies of distance learning (TDL) as a means of improving the quality of education of computer science disciplines of foreign students, creates real opportunities to improve the quality of their training, competitiveness in domestic and international labor markets.

The purpose of this work is to study the main approaches to the use of distance learning technologies in universities as a means of improving the quality of education of foreign students using the distance learning support system.

According to the "Regulations on distance learning", distance learning is an individualized process of acquiring knowledge, skills, abilities and ways of human cognitive activity, which occurs mainly through the indirect interaction of distant participants in the learning environment in a specialized environment. operates on the basis of modern psychological and pedagogical and ICT.

Distance learning technology is a set of educational technologies that includes psychological-pedagogical and information-communication, which provide an opportunity to implement the process of distance learning in educational institutions and research institutions. Psychological and pedagogical technologies of distance learning are a system of tools, techniques, steps, the consistent implementation of which ensures the implementation of the tasks of learning, education and development. These technologies are based on competency-based and personality-oriented approaches in education and use modern teaching methods, in particular: the project method, collaborative learning, situational learning, problem-based learning, productive learning, the method of "brainstorming".

ICT distance learning is a technology of creating, accumulating, storing and accessing web resources (electronic resources) of academic disciplines (programs), as well as providing organization and support of the educational process with the help of specialized software and means of information and communication, in including the Internet.

Distance learning support system (DLSS) - a multifunctional, modular, multimedia, hardware and software complex to support student learning, created using network and web-technologies to support distance learning. DLSS systems typically include learning management systems (LMS) or virtual learning environments (VLE), learning content management systems (LCMS).

One of the ways to form and develop competencies is learning, organized on active learning activities and practice-oriented activities of students, which integrates fundamental knowledge and practical skills. The implementation of such an approach in teaching requires a multimedia presentation of the studied objects, processes, phenomena, adequate modeling of the subject area. Nevertheless, TDL is now the most powerful means of influencing, motivating and educating students, meeting their cultural needs and shaping moral values.

E-learning course (E-course) is an e-learning resource that is a set of teaching materials in electronic form and educational services for the organization of individual and group learning using distance learning technologies. The peculiarity of the use of ELC in comparison with other electronic teaching aids and electronic educational resources (EER) is that the ELC is designed for independent and systematic mastering by students of

educational material under the guidance of a teacher during the study of disciplines. In the process of teaching students ELC is constantly changing and improving both the authors and teachers of the course.

We have developed e-learning courses in informative disciplines, adapted for study by foreign students. E-learning courses use several distance learning technologies. In this case, we must be guided by the following principle: if the didactic task can be implemented through the use of simpler technologies, then preference should be given to them.

Let's focus on the features of the application of psychological and pedagogical technologies of DL in DLSS, which are used in the educational process of training foreign students - future teachers of computer science in teaching the course "Computer Architecture and Computer Systems Configuration".

Psychological and pedagogical technologies of distance learning is a system of tools, techniques, steps, the consistent implementation of which ensures the implementation of tasks of education, upbringing and personal development and guaranteed results, taking into account the characteristics of participants in the distance learning process.

The combination of traditional and distance learning makes it possible to take advantage of both forms of learning. The main advantages of using SPDN tools in the study of computer science disciplines by foreign students are: improving the quality of education; motivation of students to study; providing effective learning management tools; increasing the number of people who will have access to quality education; establishes a new role of the teacher as a tutor; diversification of the learning process.
