IMAGERY IN THE WORKS OF ZULFIYA

ABSTRACT
This article examines the role of imagery in the works of Zulfiya, a significant Uzbek poet. The main focus is on how her poetry integrates themes of separation, hope, and independence, reflecting her deepening life philosophy over the years. Key aspects such as the evolution of aesthetic ideals and the portrayal of natural imagery are discussed, highlighting Zulfiya's unique contribution to Uzbek literature.

In today's individual and creative thinking, the novelty and originality in an author's poetics remain critical for assessing the value of a literary work. This study relies on the systemic integrity of Zulfiya's artistic world, which includes its social, psychological, and most importantly, artistic laws and inherent cause-and-effect relationships.
Zulfiya's creative lab, as described by M. Sultanova, has evolved over the years, deepening her philosophy of life and intensifying the emotional content in her poems about separation and societal sharpness. Poems such as "Эмиш", "Уйлар", "Хдйкал", "Сенсиз", though they discuss themes of separation, are seamlessly infused with joy, duty, virtue, and aspirations of contributing to the glory of the people.
The overall spirit of her poetry appreciates nature and often leads to vivid imagery. The integration of natural elements and emotional states in her poetry reflects a sync between Zulfiya's inner world and her aesthetic vision. For instance:
Салкин сахдрларда, бодом гулида,
Бинафша лабида, ерларда бахрр.
Кушларнинг парвози, елларнинг нози,
Бахмал водийларда, кирларда бах,ор...
The poem "Бах,ор келди сени суроклаб", although deeply personal, also extends an invitation to all readers, embodying the
poet's intense emotions and calling for a collective response.

Zulfiya's work often features a forward-looking perspective, which is a hallmark of creators who are hopeful about the future and learn from the past. The aesthetic ideal she portrays appreciates the essence of time and space and foresees the demise of false ideologies.
Zulfiya's poetry is marked by its vivid imagery and deep emotional connection, which resonate strongly with national themes of independence and personal growth. Her work not only captures the spirit of her times but also offers a timeless exploration of human emotions and natural beauty, making her contributions invaluable to Uzbek literature.
