ABSTRACT

This article delves into the profound impact of Zulfiya's literary ideas on the development of literary-critical thought. It emphasizes the integration of personal emotions with socio-educational concepts through her poetic expressions. Zulfiya's work is seen as a bridge between the poetic traditions of the 20th century and modern literary dialogues, reflecting her deep connections with global poetic schools and her responsiveness to the socio-cultural dynamics of her era. The paper explores how Zulfiya's themes of fate, personal duty, and creative resilience form the core of her poetic narrative, offering a new perspective on understanding her work through a complex interplay of emotional depth and philosophical insight. The article positions Zulfiya alongside other prominent poets who have similarly transcended temporal and spatial boundaries in their work, highlighting her unique contribution to Uzbek literature.

Keywords: Zulfiya, Uzbek literature, literary criticism, poetic expression, 20th-century poetry, existential themes, socio-educational impact, creative resilience.

Every work of art delicately perceives socio-educational concepts through subtle emotions. In the progression of personal understanding, poetic coherence engages in a dynamic interaction with the emotional and spiritual foundations of the text. Ideas that seep from the depths of the psyche become complete through poetic information, which reflects the enigma of existence. This characteristic is more commonly associated with poetry. Thus, we describe poets as translators of the soul, transforming fleeting consciousness into lyrical form through words. The essence of lyrical form reveals the significance of human relationships. Notably, the impact and role of global poetic schools in 20th-century Uzbek poetry have been profound and clearly demonstrated in literary relationships. Zulfiya's poetic world and aesthetic views also form a part of this process, as the artist is a true child of her era, her aesthetic views shaped by the creative environment in which she lives. The substantial work initiated by her mentors does not pass

unnoticed by subsequent generations, continuing to be relevant and important in today's literary processes.

In the development of literary-critical thought, Zulfiya's literary ideas, views on artistic creation, and the spirit and technique of poetry have served as important resources. Her views on the responsibility of creation and the labor involved in crafting poetic works are crucial in clarifying issues related to the creator's personality and the nature of creativity.

In philosophy, the father of rationalism and surrealism, French philosopher Gaston Bachelard, believes that if an artist regularly and frequently utilizes certain elemental images in their work, it indicates an underlying complex driving their heart. Identifying this complex allows for a better understanding of the artistic work. From this, we categorize the literary themes and poetic ideas Zulfiya explores into four interconnected segments that enrich, support, substantiate, and complement each other through numerous logical-associative connections and parallels.

It is known that Zulfiya's childhood and subsequent years coincided with the difficult and tragic periods in our people's lives. Her family and relatives were also engulfed in these hardships. The poet's imaginative faculties were shaped in this environment, with the heart's responses to fate's blows becoming the core of her poetry.

Fate. The main aspects of the lyrical hero's character include:

• Passivity, recognizing one's helplessness in the face of fate, and readiness to submit;

• An instinctive love for life and its fragile, warm, and innocent objects, contrary to fate;

• Appreciation for every moment of life and every fragment of existence;

• "Creativity" (or in Zulfiya's words, "wit"), i.e., unparalleled impactfulness, the ability to transcend the boundaries of existence, overcoming the barriers of time and space, and constructing one's world within psychological dimensions (examples include strong memory and imagination, secret havens, perception of objects and events, understanding the language of nature, belief in signs, and performing miracles).

Duty and Fortune. At the foundation of Zulfiya's lyrical hero's life strategy lies the concept of human duty in society and the inevitability and transience of fortune. Since fortune can merely be a fleeting delight or a random chance, the lyrical hero prefers renunciation and asceticism. On the one hand, they fear fortune, dreading its loss or

the evil eye; fortune comes at a high price. On the other hand, a high sense of honor drives self-restraint, dignity, and decency. Here, the rule is not to pursue personal interests but to help, unite, and protect life values in the face of terrible contradictions.

Victory Over Fate. Understanding the inevitability and inescapability of misfortune, the poet's hero tries to adapt and create a satisfying small world within themselves. They endure unhappiness with patience, finding ways to compensate for misfortunes and generally assessing their situation positively. However, the emotional experiences of the lyrical hero might seem negatively portrayed to an external observer.

From this brief overview of Zulfiya's poetry's main themes, we can see her alignment with poets like H. Olimjon, G. Gulyam, and Mirtimir, who focus significantly on real-life importance, and on the other hand, with poets like Oybek, U. Nosir, and A. Mukhtar, who embrace the ideas of transcending time and space boundaries and conquering death and indifference. The characteristics of these poets, who stand quite apart in the artistic-philosophical thought of the time, naturally synthesize in Zulfiya's work.

In Zulfiya's creative output, we also find elements of high resilience and symbolic resistance to the overpowering forces of fate. All these elements allow us to note that her work is not far from the existential currents in 20th-century literary thought. A brief review of the themes in Zulfiya's poetry reveals its harmony with the works of contemporary Russian poets like Anna Akhmatova and Marina Tsvetaeva.

We now proceed to a broader analysis of the most characteristic and frequently recurring motifs in the collections mentioned above. We will divide them into four parts, corresponding to the four segments of the previously identified thematic clusters. This grouping is somewhat conditional, yet it is fair to say that other thematic clusters often also influence the formation of each part's motifs.
