precipitate was analyzed by laser particle size, and the supernatant - by dynamic light scattering.

The studies identified that in the samples taken in the area of Novokuznetsk (eg vil. Shorokhova, the zone of the influence of industrial enterprises) nanochastts share (up 93%) has a size of 400-600 nm, at a fraction the size of 4486 nm particles have to 7- 9 %. The sampling locations are characterized by the proximity of the highway with heavy traffic particle size larger 842 nm.

Thus, the share of nano-pollutants in common volume is very high, so the particle size analysis of suspended impurities is encouraged to include in the list of mandatory indicators for monitoring the pollution of the environment of industrial regions.

ETHNOPEDAGOGY OF THE ABKHAZIAN FOLKLORE: MERMAID

DZIZLAN

Mermaid represents mythological folklore anthropoid creature mainly belonging to female sex or spirit related to reservoirs. The word "mermaid" came from the Slav meaning "light brown hair". In antiquity among the Slavs a man or a woman with that kind of hair was associated with something "light" and "clean".

At the most world people there are own legends about water creatures -mermaids and their number is enormous. The simplest explanation is hidden in a mystery and inaccessibility of water element, difficult and at times the strange natural phenomena related to the lakes and seas, abandoned complete space for the figment of imagination. That is why mermaids of "different origin" are alike an, and sometimes they notably differ. In their look and manners one can find the reflection of national character, way of life and relations, existing in the past between the people of different tribes.

The Abkhazian people have legends and fairy-tales about this creature. In Abkhazia it is called "Dzizlan". She is beautiful and very strong. "If she is won fight against the man, on a belief, becomes the servant of a family of the winner"

[3].

Picture 1. Abkhazian mermaid Dzizlan

Many Abkhazian scientists of History and Ethnography tried to describe her appearance.

The character of mermaids was constrained simultaneously with water and vegetation. She looks like a human being. Her body is resilient; the skin is white, as a papyrus, the eyes sparkle brightly. Her hair is long and she values it very much (picture 1).

A mermaid comes to the lonely men, and sometimes falls in love with young and handsome ones. As the mermaid possesses beautiful appearance, she can entice men and take away them to her place.

There is a theory that Abkhazian people like many others told about existence of such dangerous creatures to their children to protect them, to teach them being afraid of water, to educate and bring them up. Dzizlan is just a fib to make children obey their parents in different situations [ 1 ].

But our informer (Zoia 1943 years, village Phsap) told us that many people do see the mythological creature. "Do not let your hair down" says nearly every Abkhazian woman to her daughter or granddaughter, because it is believed that a girl with loose hair draws the attention of Dzizlan (maybe because she looks like a mermaid).

Our informer, due to her age, knew about the creature and heard from her elders a lot. Having met the mermaid the man has to bare the dagger and shout loudly special magic words on Abkhazian. Some scientists believe that such a

behavior is a result of unique ways of physical upbringing and males' braveness comes out of it [2].

On the memory of our informer there was a case, that has happed 7-8 years ago in Ochamchyra city with twin brothers. They appeared eyewitnesses of mermaid existence and even one of them spoke to her.

Two brothers were always together. From a school bench they were fond of fishing, and after leaving school, they earned their living by catching fish at the seaside or on the small rivers of an Abkhazian district. Twins were doing their job all days long and sometimes even at nights in any weather.

Once in the evening while returning home they saw it and one of them spoke to her, but never could pronounce a word since that time. In spite of this fact nobody

believed them.

The next day the twins didn't go fishing, although they were used going there every day during many years. One of them abandoned eating and wanted to see nobody, except his twin brother.

Neither medicine nor the church could help him. Only a local healer said that reason of all the troubles could be his meeting with Dzizlan and their fatal talk. The mermaid wanted to take a young man with him. And so he did - one of the brothers died.

There are many other stories concerning mythical creatures in Abkhazia and all are very interesting and vivid. Closely intertwining in consciousness of the people fiction and reality demonstrate the inquisitive, uncommon thinking peculiarity of the Abkhazians that in turn shows the width of the Abkhazian soul and richness of their culture.
