CREASING THE ROLE OF WOMEN IN THE SPIRITUAL AND

POLITICAL LIFE OF THE INDEPENDENT REPUBLIC OF

UZBEKISTAN

Annotation: The years of independence are characterized by a significant increase in the social activity of women in Uzbekistan. In whatever sphere of public life they work - be it state or public construction, industry or agriculture, entrepreneurship or farming, education or health care, science, culture or sports - everywhere women, with their hard work, skill and responsibility, achieve impressive results, bring invaluable contribution to the construction and development of a modern democratic state and civil society, the steady growth of the country's authority in the international arena. This is primarily due to the fact that the state creates ample opportunities and conditions for the development of the creative poten,

The modern period is marked by an increase in the political activity of women. They are involved in government bodies, take an active part in the activities of political parties, public and non-governmental organizations. Thus, in 2011, 1131 women, including 48 senators and deputies in the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, worked fruitfully at all levels of the representative bodies of state power. About 332 thousand women actively participated in the activities of political parties, many of them realized their abilities and creative potential in non-governmental non-profit organizations that are the backbone of civil society.

There are many examples of the enormous work done during the years of independence to ensure the rights and interests of women, increase their spiritual and intellectual potential, improve health, and strengthen the protection of families, mothers and children. All this requires a generalization of the experience of the participation of women in the republic in state and social construction. The success achieved over the past twenty years is based on the work of our selfless and enterprising women. The decree of the head of our state

"On additional measures to support the activities of the Women's Committee of Uzbekistan" dated May 25, 2004 is an important guide to action in this direction.

From the first days of independence in the Republic of Uzbekistan, a huge work has been carried out on the legal, economic and social protection of motherhood and childhood, the creation of conditions for the comprehensive, harmonious development and upbringing of children and adolescents in the spirit of universal human values. Our country, not in words, but in deeds, has raised concern for healthy and happy motherhood and childhood to the rank of state policy. The restructuring in the perception of gender issues among the teaching staff will certainly have an impact on the younger generation studying in the system of vocational and secondary specialized education. Indeed, according to statistics, the proportion of graduates of such educational institutions in the total number of people employed in the country's economy in 1997-2000 was more than 20%.

The formation of spiritual and moral values and the upbringing of national ideology and patriotism among the younger generation in the family is a matter of special concern for scientists and specialists. Sociological research on the ground shows that it is still very difficult for both the family and the public to determine what the priorities of modern education are. What role should civil, secular foundations play in it, what place should be given to religious spirituality. In Uzbekistan, on the initiative of I.A. Karimov, the State Prize named after Zulfiya was established for girls who showed special abilities in science, literature and art. Today, all the conditions have been created for young compatriots to become familiar with spiritual wealth, which, in comparison with material values, is priceless and everlasting.

In accordance with the National Program for Personnel Training, equal conditions for education have been created for all children. Professional education is not only available, but also required. It is implemented through the full coverage of the education of children in secondary schools, academic lyceums and vocational colleges. An important role in improving the qualifications of women is played by non-profit, non-governmental and public organizations that implement educational programs. For example, under the Women's Committee, various clubs, associations and centers are successfully working in this direction. In particular, the club of women leaders contributes to the fullest disclosure of the leadership qualities and practical capabilities of women, increasing their experience of working with cadres. And the Club of Gifted Girls, which unites 700 talented girls, annually holds republican forums, where the participants demonstrate and discuss their achievements. Centers socially.
