CHARACTERISTICS OF BOOKS AND LIBRARY CULTURE IN IMPROVING THE DEVELOPMENT OF YOUTH
Annotation: This article focuses on education and educating the younger generation in today's society, ideas on the promotion of reading in the development of their consciousness and worldview, the further enhancement of the role of books and literature in the lives of young people.

Today, great attention is paid to the youth, who make up a large part of our society, their maturity, independent activity and future. In particular, the promotion of a culture of reading among young people, the development of their knowledge, intellectual potential, consciousness and thinking has become one of the main issues of our country's policy. Mankind has always felt the need for books and literature. The book, which is the product of high thinking, raises human spirituality and perfection. The tradition of reading originated in the culture of our people and became the basis for reading books.
The tradition of reading, which has a long history,occupies an important place among the ancient traditions of mythology and epic poetry, has been established as a comprehensive and multifaceted concept.
The advanced period of reading dates back to the Middle Ages. In those times, there was a lack of television, radio, press, theater, cinema and other cultural and educational media, as well as today, and the need for readers was felt due to the lack of literate people who read books. Especially on the long nights of winter, people would gather together and enjoy the sacred words recited by the reader hafiz. The participants of such gatherings "trembled with their whole bodies, sometimes with joy, sometimes with a light smile on their faces - they became observers of strange and wonderful events. Under the influence of such reading meetings, people have enjoyed spirituality and have lived their faith firmly.
For centuries, this tradition has encouraged people to be faithful to high qualities such as spirituality and enlightenment. It was from this period that the tradition of reading rose to a new level. It formed a new system of meaningful

("painful") tones. Examples of this are the traditions of Yassavi Khanate, Navoi Khanate, Mashrab Khanate, Ibrahim Adham, Bobo Ravshan, Imam Muhammad, Ismail, Imam Hasan and Imam Hussein, the narrations and stories of Kiyiknoma.
It should be noted that the spiritual heritage, historical memory, the life of great thinkers and scientists, the study of their work is also a factor in raising the culture of the book.
It is also important to cultivate the attitude of young people towards books in harmony with the development of society. As noted by the President: "At the same time, in addition to mastering the latest achievements in the field of information and communication, I think it is necessary to pay special attention to increasing the interest of our youth in reading, their friendship with books, further raising the level of reading." As a factor influencing the human mind, spirit and the world of emotions, the book is a powerful food for expanding its spiritual world, worldview. The history of religions, rituals and customs that existed in our region in ancient times plays an important role in the study of the roots of reading.
Evidence for the art of music in the distant past is archeological finds, such as terracotta statues, murals and various objects, as well as temple-like structures. It is known from these cultural monuments that in pre-Islamic times (I-VI centuries) Zoroastrianism and Buddhism also existed in our country. The first buds of Zoroastrianism appeared in the IX century BC on the territory of our country (ancient Khorezm) and were formed in the VI century. This monotheistic religion was practiced for many centuries (XIV century) by the peoples of Movarounnahr, Khorasan, Iran and partly the Caucasus. The sacred book of this religion, the Avesto, was written by Zoroaster and copied by the scribes on a piece of paper made of 12,000 ox skins with golden water. Of course, the study of the holy books, the role of the book in educating our youth in the spirit of the glorious traditions of our ancestors, on the basis of the achievements of today's world that serve personal development, can not be replaced by anything else.
We all know that today in our country great attention is paid to raising the level of reading, the culture of reading. However, the fact that many of our children are away from books and spend a lot of time on social networks is also a fact
"We cannot ignore the fact that our children's consciousness and worldview are formed not on the basis of our world and national literature, which has been tested for centuries, but on the basis of some dubious and harmful information." In this regard, it is necessary to constantly monitor the youth of our society, to ensure their ideological employment. They need to form a culture of reading, as well as a culture of using information and the Internet.
The ancient source of reading is the art of epic poetry, which originated in ancient times and has survived to the present day. The epic is a type of literary

and musical creation, in which stories of historical, heroic, heroic, romantic, philosophical, exhortation, religious content are expressed in poetic or prose form. In particular, the order of singing the poem, reciting the prose part performed by epic poets, is also reflected in a number of stories.
This composition is available in "Bobo Ravshan", "Ibrahim Adham" and other stories. Indeed, the roots of ancient reading seem to have survived in modern epics. This feature has been preserved for a long time in the performance of the epic, and in the future, that is, in the Middle Ages, the tradition of reading may have developed and served as a primary source for its widespread dissemination. First of all, in order to increase the level of reading among the population, first of all, at the initiative of the head of our state, reforms are being carried out in the regions of our country. For example, in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and the city of Tashkent, the annual "Most Reading School", "The Most Reading Neighborhood", "The Most Reading Family", It is worth mentioning the holding of competitions in such areas as the awarding of the winners of the final stage, including the awarding of valuable cars, including domestically produced cars.
In short, raising the culture of reading, improving the field of culture and art, at the same time is an issue that is very important for all of us, that is, the task is to spread reading and bring our work to a new level, aimed at further increasing the love of our youth for books, their spiritual immunity.
