The study of such discipline as a foreign language in university today implies the formation of certain competencies. The future specialist today should develop professional contacts, including the exchange of information; search for information sources in Russian and foreign languages; present the results of academic and professional activities at various public events and scientific conferences; use information and communication technologies for searching, processing and presenting information.

The task of a modern teacher is to apply a wide range of different methods and techniques that stimulate students' cognitive activity and motivation. The use of such tools today depends on the requirements of modern educational environment in which the student is studying, and on the professional environment in which a future specialist is going to work [1].

So non-linguistic universities are students are meet with additional requirements towards knowledge of a foreign language in their professional field. Constructive ideas are needed to solve the problem of optimizing and intensifying teaching a foreign language, obtaining new knowledge and improving language level.

The use of interactive methods of teaching a foreign language in universities is a relevant idea, since it allows you to make classes more diverse, enabling students to show independence, implement communication and speech skills, and activate students' creative thinking.

At the same time, the main problem in learning process remains students' passivity, since not all modern educational techniques and methods can fully ensure high level of educational and cognitive activity. Modern universities also face with the problem of lack of active position and motivation among students. Reducing the hours for learning a foreign language only exacerbates these problems. Therefore, the processes which enhance educational and cognitive activity are priority ones.

Interactive teaching methods and technologies play an important role today as they develop students' critical thinking, their imagination, improve their cultural and social behavior, helps to form the ability to make collective and individual decisions, and improve university educational process [2].

Interactive activity means constant communication of all the participants of educational process. Active interaction of all students and a teacher is the main condition of successful educational process.

Using interactive methods forms students' skills to self-determine, control their learning process, achieve a certain result and choose the most rational way to find the necessary means, mental or organizational work to become an independent in educational activity.

The use of Internet resources in teaching a foreign (English) language can:

• enrich educational material with sound and visual clarity;

• help students form associative links between language and reality;

• activate students' mental activity;

• individualize the learning process;

• program and control didactic situations;

• rationalize the educational process as a whole;

• make learning process more interesting;

• create conditions for skills formation in the process of students' independent work.

Examples of Internet resources used in teaching a foreign language:

Quizlet. Using this service, you can create flash cards (vocabulary material with or without a picture) to introduce or master vocabulary.

Advantages:

• training of reading, writing, listening, speaking;

• individual pace of learning and choice of learning format;

• possibility to print the test in different ways and change it;

• ability to revise at anytime and anywhere using mobile applications;

• participation in online team game;

• mobile versions.

Learningapps. It is a service for creating interactive training exercises, quizzes, tests.

Padlet. It is a service for creating, collecting and storing digital materials on a topic of the lesson. Advantages:

• saving pictures and PDF format;

• the ability to include your board in a blog;

• the ability to make the board open for public or only for a specific student.

Thinlink. Using this service, you can create an interactive multimedia poster on which markers are applied. To create a multimedia poster you should upload an image and apply markers that lead to another service: a video, a page from Wikipedia, the SoundCloud audio service.

Miro. It is an interactive space where you can write and draw, attach files a lot of times. Here you can demonstrate any of your teaching ideas to your students in real time. Miro supports PDF and DOCX formats, broadcasting video content. Miro also has a huge number of tools for drawing, underlining and stroking, which allows a teacher to focus the students' attention on a specific material. There is a large range of stickers. Miro also provides additional tools. One of them is ToDo, a space for organization and goal setting that can be used to create a studying schedule [3].

The interactive techniques imply that students are not only observers or listeners, but also active participants of a creative learning process. It gives each student the opportunity to show their creative and intellectual abilities, encourages initiative.

In conclusion, interactive activity helps to unite all the participants of educational process and improves controllability of students by a teacher, involves refusal from standard ways of solving communicative problems. Moreover, it provides speech practice for students in a creative atmosphere, contributes to development of students' skills to logically and correctly express their thoughts in foreign language, to lead a discussion, as a result students' motivation increases.
