USING MODERN TECHNOLOGY TO IMPROVE ENGLISH TEACHING AND LEARNING
Аннотация: this article explores some advantages the use of innovative technologies in the methodology of teaching English. Innovative technologies are new approaches and methods that help make the learning process more interesting, effective and accessible to students. It is a well-known fact that technology is very useful for the teachers as well as the learners to develop their teaching and learning skills of English. Without technology, it will become a great problem for the teachers to motivate or influence the learners to learn the language skills. We will also discuss evaluating the effectiveness of innovative technologies and their impact on learning outcomes.

The XXI century has witnessed tremendous changes in every field. These changes have a great impact on the entire humanity all around the globe. Technology is the most essential tool in the development of humans' continual progress. There have been many innovations and discoveries since technology plays a major role in all fields. Because of these latest innovations, the modern world has been developing in leaps and bounds. As a result of technology, there have been spectacular changes in all fields.
With the advent of the internet technology, there have been tremendous changes in the field of education. With the introduction of computers in the field of education, there have been drastic changes in the teaching and learning process. Digital boards and smart boards have replaced the traditional chalk and board concept. The use of the modern technology by the teachers in their classrooms has drastically reduced their burden. Also, it has provided the opportunity for the teachers to make use of computers and overhead projectors to give PowerPoint presentations in their classrooms.
As Dooly states, "Technology is an integral part of today's society, and therefore raising students' competence in using technology, teaches them skills that they will need in the future" [2015, 11-15]. Furthermore, Rao, P. S. states, "Teachers also use technology in their teaching to make the teaching and learning process easier and more convenient. In this process teachers can interact with students and give them useful information in a short time" [2018, 5-15]. This indicates the power and importance of technology in the field of education in the modern era.
The use of innovative technologies in the methodology of teaching English has many advantages. And some of them:
1. Increasing student motivation. Innovative technologies offer new and interesting ways to learn English, which helps to increase students' motivation. They can use various multimedia materials, interactive exercises, games and tasks that make the learning process more fun and exciting.
2. Development of communication skills. Innovative technologies focus on the development of students' communication skills. They offer a variety of tasks and exercises that require active communication in English. This helps students improve their grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation, as well as develop confidence in communicating in English.
3. Individualization of learning. Innovative technologies make it possible to adapt the educational process to the individual needs and interests of students. They offer various forms of work where students can choose assignments, projects and topics
that are more interesting and relevant to them. This contributes to more effective learning of the material and increases motivation to learn English.
4. Developing critical thinking and creativity. Innovative technologies include assignments and projects that require students to think critically and creatively. They can analyze and evaluate information, put their knowledge into practice, solve problems and offer their ideas. This helps students develop independent thinking and problem solving skills.
Innovative technologies include the use of modern technologies such as computers, the Internet, multimedia materials and programs. This allows students to access a large amount of information, use various online resources to learn English, and develop information skills.
Thus, the use of innovative technologies in teaching English makes it possible to increase students' motivation, develop their communication skills, individualize learning, develop critical thinking and creativity, as well as use modern technologies to learn the language more effectively.
There are several main innovative technologies in the methodology of teaching English, which are actively used to improve the effectiveness of teaching and develop students' communication skills. Let's look at some of them:
1. Using interactive whiteboards. Interactive whiteboards are special whiteboards that allow teachers and students to interact with information using touch sensors. You can write, draw, move objects, project images and videos on the interactive whiteboard. This allows you to create interactive lessons, involve students in active discussion and problem solving, and use various multimedia materials for a more visual presentation of information.
2. Using online resources and applications. With the development of the Internet and technology, a large number of online resources and applications have become available to help students learn English. These can be various websites, applications for mobile devices, online courses, etc. With their help, students can study at any time convenient for them, repeat materials, complete tasks and receive feedback.
There are also special applications for developing speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.
These are just some examples of the use of innovative technologies in teaching English. It is important to remember that the choice of a specific technology depends on the objectives of the lesson, the capabilities of the teacher and the needs of the students.
