Today, the tourism industry in our country is growing rapidly from year to year. It should be noted that today the country's economy is growing at a high rate through tourism, which is becoming one of the most lucrative industries. The head of our state pays great attention to this area. Historical monuments and facilities are being reconstructed. Particular attention is paid to increasing the tourist potential of the country, training highly qualified personnel.
In order to implement the proposals made in the Address of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan on December 28, 2018 and in accordance with the tasks set out in the Action Strategy for the five priority areas of development of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2017-2021:
The fact that the Concept of Tourism Development in the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2019-2025 sets tasks such as improving the regulatory framework in the field of tourism, internationalization of international norms and standards aimed at creating favorable conditions for tourism development is a clear evidence of attention to the sector.
In the modern Western economy, tourism is seen as a complex socio-economic system, the tourism industry, tourism policy and the economy as a whole. At the same time, economic problems are analyzed in conjunction with the socio-ecological aspects of tourism [1-8]. Current trends in the development of tourism show that its impact on both the world economy and the economies of individual countries and regions is growing. Tourism is becoming a major independent sector of the national economy, meeting the specific needs of the population. Due to the diversity of these needs, tourism is one of the factors that has a multiplier effect on the development of the national economy, involving not only tourism enterprises but also enterprises in other sectors. Development of the tourism industry in Uzbekistan Increased monetary perceptions Reduction of unemployment as one of the directions of stabilization of the socio-economic situation in the country requires the development of software that allows.
Tourism contributes to the overall economic growth of underdeveloped areas. Opening tourist centers in underdeveloped areas is the main method of many countries.
The growing demand for tourism and the development of leisure are mainly in the form of standard mass travel packages, which in turn have been driven since 1958 by jet flights and cheap fuel. In addition, population growth in industrialized countries, increased paid holidays and increased incomes play a special role.
Between 1950 and 1980, the number of visitors increased 11.5 times from 25 million to 285 million, with an average annual tourist growth of 8.4%. Revenues increased 51 times from $ 2 billion to $ 102.372 billion. The average annual growth of tourism revenues was 14%. Worldwide (1950-1999) in the early 80's there was a decline in the world economy due to the decline in international tourism until 1985.
In the second half of the 80s, the situation was renewed. The end of the Cold War gave a new impetus to the development of the tourism industry. During 1987-1990, the average annual growth of tourist arrivals was 7.8% and the growth of tourism revenues was 17%.
The 90s went awry for tourism development. The war in Iraq played a key role in this. With the outbreak of the war, the region stopped traveling to the eastern Mediterranean and North Africa. And international tourism photos have slowed. Due to this problem, international tourism in 1991 saw revenue growth of 1.5% and revenue of 2.7%. By 1992, it had risen again. In the same year, revenues increased by 8% and revenues by 13.5%.
During 1992-1999, the tourism industry developed without significant changes. The number of tourists increased from 503.6 million to 657 million, an increase of 25%.
The average annual growth of tourists was 4.4%. Revenue rose 44 percent from $ 308.6 billion to $ 455 billion during the period. The average annual growth of revenues was 5.5%. In 1999, the growth rate of tourist arrivals increased by 1 point compared to 1998, the growth rate of revenues was 2.3%.
Currently, the Republic of Uzbekistan is in the process of forming a national model of tourism. According to this model, the developing tourism market in the country, like any other market, affects the socio-economic situation of the country [918]. It is an important tool for developing cooperation between countries and determining the level of investment and capital flows. It is known that in countries with developed market economies, mainly private and commercial companies provide services to tourists. However, in any case, the development of tourism is important only if the state creates an optimal economic and regional ground. If the state does not deal with issues of vocational training, discussion of the natural and cultural environment, information and advertising, and simplification of formalities, then tourism will not reach the expected level of development. It is important for the state to develop methodological and practical approaches to the development of tourism, tourism
services, reforming the methods and frameworks of economic regulation of the services market, improving the organizational management of tourism, increasing its export potential and, most importantly, attracting foreign investment. reaches In order to organize the economic situation of the tourism industry in the country, it is possible to distinguish two stages in its development. Phase 1 covers the period from 1986 to 1991 and Phase 2 covers the period after 1992. The division into such periods allows to distinguish two most important periods in the development of tourism in the country. In the first stage, tourism will be subordinated to the Republican Trade Union, whose main body was the Council for Tourism and Excursions of the Republic of Uzbekistan. This period was associated with the transition of tourism measures to full economic accounting, self-sufficiency and self-financing [19-30].
It should be noted that this year the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to create favorable conditions for the restoration and development of tourism in the Republic of Uzbekistan" The State Unitary Enterprise "Tourist Service Center" under the State Committee for Development coordinates the activities of tourism information centers.
In accordance with the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers:
1. Regulations on the procedure for selection of subjects of the tourism industry for carrying out of international tourism fairs and exhibitions with new kinds of services and products.
2.Regulations on the procedure for granting the status of "Tourist mahalla", "Tourist village", "Tourist village" to citizens' assemblies
3. Regulations on the procedure for retraining and advanced training of experts in the field of tourism.
4. The introduction of laws and decrees, such as the Regulation on the badge "Sacrifice of Tourism" is a clear evidence of the attention paid to the field. During several years of activity of the National Company "Uzbektourism" in the country there is a revival of national and international tourism, strengthening and expanding the material and technical and regulatory framework, development of new tourist routes, updating the topics of excursions. Improving the cleanliness and temping of tourism and the creation of new ones has done some work to increase the volume of additional services. As early as 1992, there were 195 enterprises in the system of the National Company "Uzbektourism", including 34 hotels, camps, hempings, motels with a total capacity of 10 thousand seats.
Today, in fact, I can say that I am a citizen of Uzbekistan, who must work tirelessly to contribute to the development of our country, to take a worthy place in the world community. The heart that beats in our chest must first beat the Motherland. Today, we all believe that we must work together to contribute to the development of our country.
