Foklore is one of the valuable sources in education and in the spiritual-moral upbringing of young generation. An environment makes a great influence on the development of folklore. As an English proverb says, "Every country has its customs", the Kazakh people have their own culture, traditions, customs and literature. Folklore is the great heritage of the national culture of every nation, it is one of the strongest means in education, moral and aesthetic influence on a person, a means of persuasion. Many great scholars of the East in the middle ages pointed out the role of folklore in the education of young generation, its strength of aesthetic impact, they are: Akhmad Yugnaki, Yusuf Khos Khodjib, Makhmud Kashgariy, Kaykovus, Ibn Sina, Saadi, Abu Raikhan Beruniy, Rudaki, Alisher Navoiy and others. For example, Rudakin used widely proverbs and sayings, which are considered to be the treasure of folklore, in his tractates and poetic works [3, 41]. Abu Raikhan Beruniy paid much attention to the issues of national culture and study of culture of other peoples, he called folklore "the honour and wit of the people", "festive clothes of the people's soul" [1, 132].

Kazakh folklore has some peculiar features according to the historical character, theme, plot, heroes

and content, it includes various genres: poems, songs, blank verse, fairy-tales, legends and others.

Kairolla Imangaliev is one of the famous Kazakh poets, bards (jiraus) of the end of the XIX-th century who lived on the territory of Karakalpakstan and he was known for performing eposes and poems written in blank verse. The topics of his poems and songs are various. The study of the creative works of the Kazakh poets and bards, living in Karakalpakstan, the peculiarities of their individual style is one of the actual issues in the Kazakh language and literature.

Kairolla Imangaliev was born in 1907, Republik of Kazakhstan Aktobe region, Oyil. In 1919 his father Joldasbay moved to Karakalpakstan. He lived in Kungrad, neer Moynak

K.Imangaliev is the author of many poems. One of the widely-spread themes for Kazakh poets and jiraus is the topic of Motherland. In the work "Our Motherland" the poet speaks about his love to the country, to Motherland in the name of an old man. The poet appeals to the people: "I'll watch you by light words". Here is a word combination light words means "words that encourage a person, making his spirits high and optimistic". The author expresses his feelings and love to Motherland in the following way:

The famous singers

Asan kaigi, Kaztugan,

The bards of the past,

They were not the last.

There's a place in Asia,

The Amu and Syrdariya betwyx,

Inhabited by Uzbeks, Kalpaks and Tadjiks.

The Aral Sea with a mirror-like surface,

It has stormy waves.

If it rains, the land will flourish,

When being blessed,

The country will flourish.

I love our Motherland,

Enjoying the country of my own.

Looking at the picturesque landscape,

Like a precious stone [4, 186]._

Describing the devoted love of the poet Kaztugan to his native country, the famous scholar M.Magauin writes, "The most valuable thing for a person is Motherland, the place of his off-springs, the country where

he was born and lives. The poet-bard expresses his passionate love to Motherland" [5, 432].

Kairolla Imangaliev went on the good traditions of Kaztugan, singing about Motherland and his country in the form of narration. He was sorry for his country-men

у

who lived far away from their native country and tried to educate in them the feelings of love, devotion to Motherland. The poet thinks that the praise and proud-ness of the country is its brave men, heroes: Kotibar, Esen, Aristan, Asau, Barak, Suleke, Batir, Beket, Shektibay, Ajibay, Altay, Mailibay. It's their country, Motherland With a vast valley in this land [4, 192] Кетибар, Есет, Арыстан, Асау, Барак, СYлеке, Батыр, Бекет, Шектибай. [4, 192] The famous scholar S.Seifullin writes, "The creative way is an immortal way. The life of creation cannot be measured with the life of its creator. If a real talented man expresses realistically his time and the people like it, he will live for ever, he will be eternal. It is rare happiness when people believe in you, when you are able to perform the songs they like, you are able to lighten the future by your rays" [8, 456].

There were many Kazakh poets and bards who lived in Karakalpakstan and created a lot of wonderful valuable poems and eposes worth reading.

Another poem by Kairolla that deserves attention for the study is "If a spring doesn't well out boiling". The outstanding Kazakh writer Sabit Mukhanov emphasizes that this poem has a didactic character, the author "teaches his contemporaries by singing of the great past" [7, 326]. Analyzing the poem we see that there are many statements in the form of rhetorical questions in the lines of the poem. For example: "Will the mountains' stones fall if the spring doesn't well out boiling?", "If something is wrong in the country, will a blue blood's son be patient with it?", "When fighting against an enemy, will he ask for their help?".

The following lines from the poem have a didactic and moral-epic character: The bad only damage, They are not kind. Only quarrel and savage, Good words they cannot find [4, 189] Жамандьщтьщ белгиси, 9з басына ези жау. [4, 189] Here the poet criticizes the people who don't know when and where to speak, he recommends people "First think, then speak", "Actions speak louder", advising them to be witty and wise. The poet's work "The great men passed" is close to his poem "Our Motherland" according to its content and main idea. In the poem "Our

Motherland" the heroes protected their country by swords, spears and daggers. In the poem "The great men passed" the author praises the heroes (batirs) of his country, mentioning their origin and clan, emphasizing that such heroes who are devoted to their country and love it have been since the Nogay period. Kairolla writes, "There are many outstanding men who deserve fame". They are: Bokenbay, Eset, Er Shora, Ernazar, Barmak, Asau, Serke, Janqoja, Kotibar, Derbisali, Tilek, Ajibay, Altay, Mingbay, Isatay, Makhambet, Ataqozi, Berdibek, Qarmis, Qonay and others. The poet writes:

They were holy and blessed men, They were Algi and Dosan, With a flame burning in the mouth Who killed an enemy with oath, They were brave men Making famous their clan [4, 193]. [4, 193]. These lines of the poet show that he is proud with the heroes of the country who are ready to protect it from an enemy and even to give their lives for Motherland. We see that Kairolla continued the traditions of the bards Bukhar and Umbetei singing of the heroes of his country who fought for their nation and native land. That's why the poet's works remain popular today, they play a great role in the education of young generation.

The two poems "Let me tell the truth " and "A song of introducing a bard himself' are very important for the investigation. In the poem "Let me tell the truth" there are the elements of autobiography, the poet tells about his off-springs, clan, his father and mother in the form of narration. He follows to the traditions of such kind of narration which we observe in the creative works of other Kazakh poets who lived in Karakalpak-stan - Dospambet, Kaztugan, Shalkiyz and Makahmabet . Kairolla praises and sings of his tutors: I want to speak about my country, Where I was blessed. There is Bekbergen, Jaskelen, Baki, Bitegen, Makut and Terlikbay. All of them are close to me, All of them are relatives to me [4, 194]. Бата алган жеримди айтайын, Аржагы ykh, Бекберген, Бержагын онын айтайын, Жаскелен, Бакы, Битеген, Макут пенен Терликбай, Бетен емес езимнен [4, 194]. In the next poem "A song of introducing a bard himself" he writes about the poetry:

My speech is eloquent,

Like a brocade and velvet,

Like an expensive thing,

Like a golden ring.

My speech was worth praising

Everybody listened to it raising.

Wishing to learn it by heart, Y

I speak it from my heart [4, 198]. Y

This poem was written when Kairolla was famous whose works were distinguished by their lyricism, pe-for his works. culiar rhyme and melody. They are valuable today and

Thus, in conclusion we can state that Kairolla are being performed by the famous bards and the poet's Imangaliev was one of the outstanding poets-bards language, his individual style are being studied by
