At the moment, in the context of globalization and informatization, an integral part of the development of the financial market is to improve the quality of the banking services market. The endless struggle of banks for customers forces us to look for new and more effective ways to serve them and contributes to the emergence of new products and technologies. Thus, banks can gain competitive advantages through innovations in working with bank plastic cards and innovations in the field of remote banking services.

Abstract

At the moment, in the context of globalization and informatization, an integral part of the development of the financial market is to improve the quality of the banking services market. The endless struggle of banks for customers forces us to look for new and more effective ways to serve them and contributes to the emergence of new products and technologies. Thus, banks can gain competitive advantages through innovations in working with bank plastic cards and innovations in the field of remote banking services.

Key words: bank cards, remote services, economics.

Over the past few years, according to statistics of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, the attitude of customers to banking products has changed. For example, from the data of the report on the number of payment cards issued by Russian credit institutions and the Bank of Russia [1] it follows:

Thus, the increase in the use of credit cards indicates an increase in the degree of public confidence in the banking system as a whole and increasing their financial literacy, and the increasing use of payment cards in General confirms the trend to move from cash to Bank cards. If we consider the changes in the structure of operations performed on the territory of Russia using payment cards, we can also see an increase in both the number of operations and their volume [2].

Thus, we can draw the following conclusions: the number of transactions over the past 4 years increased by 198.5%, and the volume of these transactions increased by only 65.5%, which suggests that Bank customers have become more cautious and prefer to make more transactions with less volume. At the same time, the number of cash withdrawals decreased by 95%, and

their volume increased by 17.9%, while the number of transactions for payment of goods and services increased by 282.7%, and their volume increased by 217.5%. Based on this, it follows that customers prefer to use payment cards to pay for goods and services, and to use cash for larger transactions.

As we can see, the demand for the use of Bank cards is constantly growing. This is due to the fact that the banking market is entering new products using remote non-cash settlement. Modern customers have access to such channels for non-cash payments as Tele-banking (telebanking); personal computer (e-banking); Internet-(Internet-banking); mobile banking (mobilebanking). All these remote means of access are called online banking (online-banking). The convenience of remote service is that customers no longer need to go to a Bank branch to obtain an account balance or request transaction history, transfer funds between accounts or open a Deposit. Remote service capabilities can be listed for a very long time, as they do not end only in the implementation of payments, they include remote currency transactions, work with the investment portfolio and much more [4].

Thus, referring to the rating Agency MARKSWEBB at the end of 2018 in the Russian market of Internet banking have succeeded as regional banks and Federal, which for various reasons are focused on non-mobile audience. The functionality and convenience of their Internet banks is very slightly inferior to Tinkoff Bank and wins over most large digital-oriented banks, which slow down investments in desktop services, focusing on the development of mobile. This is clearly evidenced by the distribution of banks in the rating of Daily Banking: Bank Levoberezhny appeared in the top 3, and the places of Alfa-Bank, Sber-bank and VTB in the top 10 were taken by Bank trust, Post Bank and Bank St. Petersburg. Thus, it is pleasant

to observe the not yet exhausted potential of development of services at commercial banks and the increase of their role in the economy, despite the high risks of lending, limited resources and strong competition from major players. However, banks are increasingly faced with the problem of cyber fraud. Thus, Bank card fraud involves the theft of personal information, fraud through the phone or the Internet, the production of duplicate cards, double transactions, card theft and other methods of embezzlement of funds, which is a serious threat to the economic security of credit institutions.
