It is very important to implement the strategic plan and monitor it. Management objectives are corporate goals and strategic plans are made to achieve them. Successful implementation of the plan requires integration into the organizational structure of the strategic plan through the use of long-term and short-

term programs, policies, rules and regulations, as well as budgetary and management objectives. Therefore, it is very important to evaluate the work regularly to determine the validity of the implementation plan and to identify problematic situations.

Tactics, policies, rules, and regulations are the key components of implementing formal plans.

Tactics. Short-term strategies are called tactics. For example, awarding a goal to a specific player in a game is a tactical move that fits the overall strategy. All tactical plans share several characteristics: 1. Tactics are developed to support strategy. 2. If strategy is always developed at top levels of management, then tactics are usually developed and implemented at middle levels of management. 3. Tactics are more time-limited than strategy. 4. The results of strategy can only be fully realized after several years, while tactical results usually appear very quickly.

Politics. After formulating long-term and tactical plans, management tries to prepare additional guidelines that allow to avoid mistakes and misinterpretation of plans. This stage of the strategy implementation process is called policy development. Policy - by providing a general guide to actions and decision-making, it encourages the achievement of goals. Policy is usually developed for the long term by the top management of an organization. Politics directs action to achieve a goal. It shows how to perform actions and explains how to achieve goals

For example, the policy of giving equal rights to women in employment allows to solve social security problems and make better use of labor resources. Note that politics provides a degree of freedom of action by directing decisions in a particular direction. For example, General Motors has a policy of reducing new tools to produce new models. If you look closely at his cars, you'll notice that most of them have the same cargo area, bumpers, or engines.

Rules. Policy alone is often insufficient to guide management actions, and regulations are developed in such cases. Just like people, organizations can use their past experiences to make future decisions. By repeatedly repeating the analysis that previously brought you to a satisfactory solution, you will save time and avoid many mistakes. Thus, if the situation at the time of decision-making tends to repeat itself

often, managers usually use a time-tested method of action and develop standardized recommendations based on it, which are called formalized rules.

A rule is a description of recommended actions in a given situation. Rules usually describe a coherent sequence of recommended actions in a specific situation. In general, the compliance officer does not have wide latitude of action

Rules. If the successful implementation of the plan depends on the exact execution of the mission, then management may find it necessary to completely eliminate freedom of choice. Even in situations where the behavior of some individuals is likely to lead to negative consequences, freedom of choice is generally not allowed. For example, most organizations require employees to be at work during certain times of the day, say 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

In such situations, when a high level of obedience is required to achieve goals, managers use rules that limit the actions of employees and guarantee specific actions performed by employees in specific ways.

A rule is a precise definition of behavior in a particular situation. Rules differ from rules in that they apply to a specific and limited situation, and rules are developed for situations that characterize a certain sequence of several interrelated actions.
