Developing the ability to motivate actions, independently navigate the information received, the formation of creative unconventional thinking, the development of children through the maximum disclosure of their natural abilities, using the latest achievements of science and practice, are the main goals of innovative activity.

The main advantage of using innovative technologies in teaching a foreign language is the shift in emphasis from traditional verbal methods of transmitting information to audiovisual methods. The latest developments are often presented on the Internet and students have the opportunity to choose them. In the methodology of teaching foreign languages, modern teaching technologies usually include: collaborative learning, the project method (project technologies), student-centered

learning, distance learning, the use of a language portfolio, computer and audiovisual technologies.

These are innovative forms of teaching: role-playing game, project method, ICT, critical thinking technology techniques, multidimensional didactic technology.

At the present stage, according to J. Van Eck, the main goal of teaching a foreign language at all levels of education is learning to communicate, that is, the ability to use a foreign language for the purpose of communication. The main teaching tool is an educational and methodological complex, which includes a book for students, a workbook, a book for the teacher, audio materials and a book for reading. In turn, educational aids include technical and non-technical ones. Foreign language speech is the goal and means of teaching in the classroom. Each type of speech activity acts as a target skill, however, when teaching, for example, a monologue statement, a reading text can be used as a support. In this case, the text will act as a means of teaching speaking. So, innovative teaching methods include interactive and computer technologies. Interactive technologies include lectures (scientific, social, professional, integrative, etc.) and seminars (debates, educational discussions, brainstorming sessions, etc.). The standard approach to teaching English in primary schools, adopted in all public institutions of secondary education, is to explain the grammatical rules of English in Russian.

Innovative activities in education as a socially significant practice aimed at the moral self-improvement of a person are important in that they can ensure the transformation of all existing types of practices in society.

The new technological structure in the 21st century is the individualization of production and consumption, the predominance of environmental restrictions on energy and consumption of materials, automation of production, location of production and population in small towns based on new transport and telecommunication technologies. Multidisciplinary (interdisciplinary) training programs. The ability to study anytime and anywhere based on free access to content around the world. Education is becoming multi-format and personalized, old and new forms of presenting educational material are closely intertwined, education in the

Education is becoming cross-border. Modern education is the result of changes that have occurred in the domestic education system in recent years. The innovation process in education is the process of improving educational practice, developing educational systems based on innovations. Innovative processes in education do not exist in isolation from each other, but interact with each other. Pedagogical innovation itself is a complex and multidimensional phenomenon. Pedagogy and, as part of it, pedagogical innovation begin with human studies. A teacher can act in the innovation process as an author, developer, researcher, user, promoter of new pedagogical technologies, theories, and concepts. Innovation has always been characteristic of pedagogical activity as the most important characteristic reflecting the process of development of pedagogical science and practice. In modern education, innovations are becoming increasingly widespread. Education as a socially determined process is based on objectively existing contradictions, which, under certain conditions, become its driving forces. Particular contradictions include:

-massive nature of education and the need for individual personal development in the educational process;

-social order and content of school education;

-the integrity of the individual as a product of education and the multiplicity of components and factors of the educational process;

Today, every teacher needs, first of all, to decide on priorities in the field of educational technologies, taking into account the goals of education, taking into account the interests of personal development.

In a modern school, the professional skills of the teacher, his teaching methods and the non-traditional pedagogical technologies used come to the fore.

In recent years, the issue of using new information technologies in universities has been increasingly raised. These are not only new technical means, but also new forms and methods of teaching, a new approach to the learning process. The main goal of teaching foreign languages is the formation and development of the communicative culture of students, training in practical mastery of a foreign language. The teacher's task is to activate the student's cognitive activity in the process of learning foreign languages. Building a conceptual and technological model of teaching foreign languages in a modern university involves certain stages of work:

1. Creation of new educational technologies in order to integrate the global educational space.

2. Development of methods and technological model of online textbooks.

3. Introduction of distance learning in foreign languages (electronic textbooks).

The global Internet creates conditions for obtaining any necessary information for students and teachers anywhere in the world: regional studies material, news from the lives of young people, articles from newspapers and magazines, necessary literature, etc. Currently, foreign language teaching in higher education is undergoing great changes. Multimedia technologies are a combination of different teaching methods: texts, graphics, music, video and animation in an interactive mode. Modern multimedia programs are an effective means of optimizing the conditions of mental work. Forms of working with computer training programs in foreign language classes include learning vocabulary, practicing pronunciation, teaching monologue and dialogical speech, teaching writing, teaching grammar. The effective use of multimedia technologies in the educational process is possible only if the relevant technologies are harmoniously and reasonably integrated into this process and provide new opportunities for both teachers and students. It is necessary for every teacher to understand a simple idea: a computer in the educational process is not a mechanical teacher, not a substitute or analogue of a teacher, but a means that enhances and expands the capabilities of his teaching activities . Existing traditional approaches to learning do not sufficiently develop the skills of independent cognitive activity. Nurturing a creative personality is the task of the entire education system, since in the process of cognitive creative activity the student realizes his significance and realizes himself as an individual. The use of information technology reveals the enormous potential of the computer as a teaching tool. Multimedia training programs have enormous advantages over traditional teaching methods. The use of new information technologies in teaching foreign languages undoubtedly carries enormous pedagogical potential. Thus, the use of Internet technologies in teaching a foreign language to university students can significantly expand the scope of the educational process, making it more interesting, effective and optimal.

Currently, there are many innovative models in the field of teaching foreign languages, and various researchers are addressing the problem of innovative technologies; they considered the problem of choosing innovative models aimed at effective personal development in the conditions of modern rapidly changing reality. In this methodology, two components can be distinguished: firstly, computer programs created in various forms and for different levels of teaching a foreign language, and secondly, the use of Internet resources, which can serve not only as an irreplaceable source of information,

and also "are an excellent means of interactive communication between different language groups", and allow participation in "development of international projects, conducting scientific research". Currently, due to the trend of general

globalization and close interaction of different languages and cultures, a foreign language is of particular importance, since many people often have a need to communicate or conduct some kind of business. or activities in a foreign language. In general, innovations, or innovations, are also applicable in the field of teaching, including a foreign language, since it is impossible to ignore the innovative component, which serves as an excellent aid to the teacher. Continuing the question of the importance of developing communicative competence when teaching a foreign language, we note the "method of communicative tasks" identified by the authors and considered innovative [2], the main principle of which is that students perform it in various forms, and using variable types of interaction to solve communicative tasks. development of foreign language communicative competence. Another technology is the technology of multi-level (differentiated) education or the technology of individualization of education, within the framework of which a person-centered approach is directly implemented and the individual characteristics, capabilities and needs of students are taken into account. Thus, there is a focus on the characteristics of each student individually, which allows them to reveal their potential and contributes to a more successful formation "a multicultural linguistic personality capable of communicating with speakers of other cultures" [3]. Based on the fact that innovations depend on people and are created by people, it is possible to identify another way of innovative development in the field of education in general, and in the field of teaching foreign languages . In this article we have highlighted only some of the leading areas of innovative development in the field of teaching foreign languages. After analyzing research on a given problem, we came to the conclusion that this issue must be approached comprehensively and not lose sight of the new opportunities that technological progress brings. All areas of innovative development that are currently being implemented are part of a single whole and, in their integrated application, contribute to the successful development of a foreign language by students and the formation of foreign language communicative competence.
