THE IMPORTANCE OF THE TASHKENT INTERNATIONAL BIENNALE OF MODERN ART IN THE ART DEVELOPMENT
Abstract
The purpose of the research: This article deals with the Tashkent International Biennale of Contemporary Art, which has been held regularly in Uzbekistan since 2001 and has been held for the eighth time.
Research methods: The article analyzes the Tashkent International Biennale of Contemporary Art, which is held regularly in Uzbekistan over the years, raising the prestige of Uzbekistan in the international art arena, strengthening cooperation between artists and curators.
Research results: Many countries, to promote the exchange of experiences and ideas, to raise the cultural and intellectual level of society, youth, and to strengthen cultural ties among people.
Practical application: To take measures to further develop the fine and applied arts of Uzbekistan, create ample opportunities for personal and creative exhibitions and increase the artistic potential of artists by The Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan.

Introduction
In order to develop and promote the field of fine, applied arts and design in Uzbekistan, a number of measures are being taken to meet the aesthetic needs of the audience. While the peculiarities of contemporary art in the field of fine, applied arts and design and its dialectical features with world contemporary art are reflected in the biennales, the study of not only the specific tendencies of creators, but also the research of related issues is one of the current topical issues. At the same time, the integration of
Uzbek and world art, cooperation, strengthening of cooperation between creative institutions and organizations in the field of modern fine and applied arts and design is directly related to the effective organization ofbiennials. is important in the study of its place in development.
It is known that each type of art, including painting, graphics, sculpture, architecture, music, theater, cinema, circus, fiction, choreography, etc., has its own uniqueness. Fine art has a special place among other types of art with its subtlety and charm. In order to develop this type

of art in Uzbekistan, the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan was established in 1997 and continues to operate.
Materials and methods
To take measures to further develop the fine and applied arts of Uzbekistan, create ample opportunities for personal and creative exhibitions and increase the artistic potential of artists by The Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan.
To develop of comprehensive creative cooperation in order to share best practices with the world's leading art academies, educational institutions, organizations, prominent cultural and artistic figures in this field.
Socio-economic protection of artists and talented youth and strengthening the material and technical base of organizations in the system of the Academy of Arts.
To encourage the activities of artists in the field of fine and applied arts and design in the creation of high-quality works of art glorifying the ideas of national identity and the implementation of measures related to the development of children's art.
Improving the activities of educational institutions in the system of the Academy ofArts on the basis of foreign experience in order to train highly qualified specialists in the field of fine and applied arts, design and folk crafts for the development of culture and art of Uzbekistan.
Improving the system of training advanced specialists in the field of fine and applied arts and design, strengthening the activities of the central office of the Academy of Arts and its regional divisions, systematically developing modern, effective methods and forms of implementation of tasks in this area.
One of the main tasks of the Academy ofArts of Uzbekistan is to promote the achievements of our national art to the world community through the organization of large-scale exhibitions in Uzbekistan and abroad, to hold conferences, biennials and other conferences.
Results and discussions
The main functional tasks of the Academy ofArts of Uzbekistan are the development of fine and applied arts and design, the promotion of Uzbek art in the world, the creation of opportunities and comprehensive support for young people, the exchange of international experience, further strengthening and development of intercultural dialogue. In order to ensure the fulfillment of its tasks, it regularly holds various international festivals and biennials every year.
"The Biennale is a universally recognized international form of contemporary art presentation, held every
two years, based on a comprehensive presentation and selection of contemporary art" [1, 66].
For the first time in Uzbekistan, the Biennale-2001 International Art Exhibition was organized by the Academy ofArts of Uzbekistan in Tashkent under the motto "Art is the symbol of humanity and creativity". Representatives of 20 countries took part in the Tashkent International Exhibition. The exhibition features works of traditional fine arts, graphics, works of modern sculpture (conceptual, avant-garde). The Grand Prix of the Biennale was awarded to Jamol Usmanov (Uzbekistan) for his outstanding creative originality, humanity and universal values (under the motto of the Biennale), and the first prize to Yuri Pavlov-Rusyaev for his high skills and contribution to the development ofworld painting culture. Russia), the second prize - for his unique creative ideas and skillful interpretation of traditional values of the East as a Western artist - was awarded to Kleer (Netherlands) [2, 26].
Tashkent Biennale II was held in 2003 in Tashkent. This biennale features works by artists from 22 countries. The exhibition features paintings, graphics, sculpture, art photography, video art, installations. "The main prize of the Biennale was given to the Kyrgyz participant UlanJapparov for his creative work" Honorable sarcophagus" [3, 13].

The first place was taken by Sergey Alibekov from Uzbekistan. Qumsash was awarded. Egyptian participant Muhammad Al-Mahmoud Nasr's installation "Journey to Eternity" was awarded second place by the International Jury.
The Modern Tashkent Biennale III was organized in 2005 in Tashkent under the motto "Western myths and legends". The Biennale was attended by 75 artists from 26 countries. The exhibition features art such as installation, video project, painting, graphics. The Grand Prix of the Biennale was won by Ahmad Nad-alion Ali (Iran). The artist participated in the biennale with the video "Death of a Fish". He used a combination of video, invariant and installation elements in his

work. Through them he expressed form, sound, space, movement, and so on. For the artist, the themes of nature, environmental protection, ecology are interesting and many creative works are prepared in this direction. Creative works can be understood as an attempt to send live waves from the past to the future with the help of media art. The first place was taken by the Uzbek artist Vyacheslav Useinov. He participated in the Biennale
with his composition "Constanta". In his work, the artist tried to coordinate traditional painting and installation and was able to reveal his goal through a unique approach. The Constanta installation is made in the form of a large spiral out of blackened matchsticks and has aroused the interest of many. Second place went to Korean participant Chang Kil Hwan. He participated with his project "Wall of History".

The Modern Tashkent Biennale IV was held in 2007 in Tashkent. The biennale is organized under the motto "New in Contemporary Art: Myth and Reality". The Biennale was attended by 150 artists from 33 countries. Well-known Japanese artist Hironori Murai's "Tokyo Dance" reflects the views of the Orient on existence.

eryone works and struggles to find bread. Life is full of contradictions. In the photographs set in the middle of the bread, the spectator can see different images, different destinies, those who never went to war after biting this bread, the women who covered the bread, themselves in the mirrors inside the bread. In the viewer looking at the work, questions arise as to who we are and why we live. This project is not just about bread, but about life, the universe, the people who live in it. At the Biennale, this installation was deemed worthy of priority.

The 4th Modern Tashkent Biennale pays special attention to video art. The video installation by Andreas Widman of Switzerland made a big impression on many viewers and took third place" [4, 1].
The 5th Tashkent International Biennale of Contemporary Art was held in 2009 in Tashkent. This biennale is organized under the motto "Urban philosophy: anthropological landscape". More than 90 artists from 26 countries of the world took part in the exhibition in the fields of painting, graphics, sculpture, photography and video art.
At the 5th International Tashkent Biennale of Contemporary Art, Akbar Khakimov's work "Turkistan remake" was awarded the Grand Prix for the best author's work. The first place was taken by the German artist Ak-bar Beklamov, the second place was taken by the Polish artist Solarek Ireneush and the Japanese Nonki Nishimu-ra. Turkish artist Setenay Pak Ozbek took the third place.
The Tashkent International Biennale VI of Contemporary Art was held in 2011 in Tashkent. This biennale is organized under the motto "In contemporary art: the territory of the artist and society". The Biennale was attended by 150 artists from 23 countries. At the Tashkent International Biennale VI of Contemporary Art "Fayzul-la Ahmadaliev from Uzbekistan won the Grand Prix for his work" Pearl of "Ancient Bukhara", which reflects the ancient times of Bukhara, the way of life and scholars living in this country, using a mixed technique [5; 48].
Sara Reza's "Central Asian Pavilion" project took first place, Diyor Rozikov's "Mechanism" project took second place, and Christian Rup's "Featured Sponsor" took third place.
The Tashkent International Biennale VII of Contemporary Art was held in 2013 in Tashkent. The biennale is organized under the motto "Different cultures - one world". The works of more than 245 artists and painters from 45 countries of the world are presented to the audience.
The Biennale aims to show the general public different trends, new directions, new names of contemporary art, as well as to intensify international cultural ties, strengthen cultures, traditions, achievements of different countries in the field of fine arts.
Uzbek artist Vyacheslav Useinov won the Grand Prix of the 7th International Biennale of Contemporary Art in Tashkent.

The International Tashkent Biennale VIII of Contemporary Art was held in 2018 in Tashkent. This biennale is "Art and Technology. Confirmation or denial ". More than 160 participants from 27 countries in Europe, Russia, the United States and Latin America, Southeast and Central Asia exhibited their creative work and proj-
ects in the Tashkent and Bukhara museums, exhibition halls, including video art, installation, photo art, sculpture, conceptual art, graphics.
The work of Uzbek artist Mahmud Khojibaev "Holy Place" was awarded the Biennale Grand Prix.
Uzbek artist Nuriddin Rasulov won the Gold Medal of the 8th International Biennale of Contemporary Art for his work "The Meaning of Time", Uzbek artist Diyor Rozikov won the Silver Medal for the G20 Summit, and German artist Kanjo Tak won the Bronze Medal. behind the scenes.
Conclusion
We believe that the Tashkent International Biennale of Contemporary Art, which has been held in Uzbekistan since 2001, will make a significant contribution to promoting art to the world, creating opportunities and supporting young people, exchanging international experience and further strengthening and developing intercultural dialogue.
