THE IMPACT OF ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES ON HUMAN LIFE

Annotation: This article analyzes environmental issues, one of the most pressing problems of our time. The article argues that civilization can bring good and good to humanity, on the one hand, and create some comfort in its daily life, and on the other, it poses a danger to life.

Key words: ecology, human, population explosion, biosphere, civilization, nuclear energy, electronic technologies, space.

One of the most important issues in terms of the level of urgency among the global problems of mankind, which requires human intervention, is the prevention of environmental hazards.A study by the Club of Rome, entitled The Way of the 21st Century, notes that soil erosion, deforestation, and saline rainfall have resulted in air pollution. The sun's ultraviolet rays are extremely harmful to living organisms, causing many diseases and changing the earth's climate. Today, such chemical damage continues to affect our fauna and flora. According to UNESCO, over the past 100 years, 25,000 plant species, more than 1,000 vertebrates, more than 100 species of domestic animals are at risk of extinction due to human activities and its negative factors. It is also extremely dangerous to humanity and can cause diseases such as sinusitis and anthracnose, which are common among humans. The number of various diseases related to environmental degradation is increasing all over the world. Today, more than 500,000 people worldwide are diagnosed with cancer each year. This chronic pain is caused by an increase in various carcinogens in the environment in 60% of them.According to VF Protasov (2002), 17-20% of all diseases in humans are due to environmental pollution, 49-53% to general conditions, 18-22% to hereditary diseases and 8-10% to medical care. VA Vronsky (2002), Sh. Mahmudova (2001), based on data from the World Health Organization (WHO), estimate that currently 80% of diseases are caused by environmental factors. According to the WHO, the number of people on the planet who suffer from contaminated water consumption is estimated at 2 billion, who suffer from infectious diseases related to water quality. So the complexity of the human condition is that it can understand all the problems. However, due to the fact that he fully understands the root causes of the problem, the interaction of the many components that make it up, it is impossible to develop appropriate measures. In 1954, for example, the world's first nuclear power plant was built, and the "peace atom" was looked upon with

great hopes. But in 1986, the biggest man-made disaster occurred.

There was a catastrophe at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. As a result of this catastrophe, a huge amount of radioactive substances were released. 7 million from the Chernobyl disaster. more than a dozen people were injured. Because of the radiation, not only the people living today, but also their unborn children were under great threat.Such a threat is not alien to our region either. In particular, the second major catastrophe on a large scale - the annual drying up of the Aral Sea - is changing the climate of the entire Aral Sea region. It is now known to the general public that the lands of the Republic of Karakalpakstan are rapidly becoming saline, the population is in a very tragic situation due to the dusty desert air, and various environmental disasters are occurring.According to observations, in the 30s of the XX century, 70% of rivers flowed into the Aral Sea. In the 50s and 60s, 50 percent, in the 70s, 30 percent, and in the first half of the 80s, 10 percent of the water was poured into the sea. The area of the Aral Sea region is 473 thousand square kilometers, where about 4 million people live. The population is currently plagued by water pollution and water shortages. From 1925, the water content of the Amudarya began to mineralize, that is, it contained trace elements harmful to human health. As a result, the violation of the ecological balance has put nature and the population in a very sad situation. According to experts, 75 million tons of carbon dioxide is released into the atmosphere every year. tons of powder, 4 mln. tons of harmful substances are added. Half of these are carbon monoxide, 15% are hydrocarbon wastes, 14% are sulfur dioxide, 9% are nitrogen oxides, 8% are solids, and about 4% are specific acute toxic substances. tons of salt has accumulated, part of which is spreading around, causing environmental destruction.

Today, about 35 million people in the sea basin are affected by it. As a result of the deteriorating environmental situation in Uzbekistan, there is an increase in morbidity. In particular, as a result of mass medical examinations conducted in the Aral Sea region in 1994, the incidence rate in Khorezm region was 72.3%, and in the Republic of Karakalpakstan - 76%. This is 1.5-1.7 times higher than the national average.Academician TB Eshanov notes that the increase in infectious diseases among the population, the spread of allergic diseases, as a result of which the incidence of anemia among mothers and children is extremely high.NB Bisaliev states that "it is necessary to pay attention not only to the physical health of every child born in Karakalpakstan, but also to the social and medical rehabilitation of their neuropsychological conditions."The above-mentioned series of environmental problems testify to the seriousness of the situation. A number of international conventions and programs have been established to prevent environmental problems in many parts of the world. Among them is the program "Man and the Biosphere" developed by UNESCO. In addition to the emphasis on improving the environment, the program also envisages a number of studies to create a scientific basis for environmental protection. At present, the state of Uzbekistan is at the forefront of the international community

in the regulation of existing environmental problems, the implementation of systematic, continuous, consistent and expedient work. As a result of practical work in cooperation with international organizations, the environmental crisis is being stopped. It is noteworthy that the Republic of Uzbekistan has developed a "National Action Plan for Environmental Protection", the state has created a unique system of social protection of the population, including mothers and children.

A number of measures are being taken to provide social protection to the poor, to protect the health of the population, to improve the composition of drinking water, to memorize the salt and flour content of the population, to pay attention to environmental cleanliness. It is also important to ensure the interdisciplinary connection of environmental knowledge in the organization of environmental education in the country, to pay attention to public health, to preserve the ecological balance, to treat natural resources, to observe, compare and draw conclusions, to identify economic shortcomings. it is necessary to form the right attitude to the issues of implementation. If these processes were carried out at all levels of continuing education, including courses on environmental education and training in public education institutes, the opportunities for successful implementation of environmental education for all science teachers would increase. The above data show that the ecological situation in the Aral Sea region is catastrophic, it is not only a medical, economic, social problem, but also a very pressing problem that requires the attention of almost all professionals in the field, the general scientific community. Among them, the study of the psychological aspects of the problem, as well as scientific research, is one of the most urgent tasks. Based on such considerations, we aimed to study in this study of the Aral Sea the specific aspects of the manifestation of ecological culture, ecological education, ecological consciousness of the population. In conclusion, environmental issues have long been at the center of human research. "Not only do living things adapt to change, but the idea that they interact and change together with the environment has been around since ancient times. Naturally, the nature of these views has changed at different times. "Our bodies flow like a stream, and matter is renewed in them forever, just like flowing water," wrote the ancient Greek philosopher Heraclitus. As the main component of nature, humanity is the main cause of all crises that occur in nature. After all, its preservation is the sacred duty of all human beings.
