THE EFFECT OF CHEMICAL ADDITIVES ON CLINKERS BASED ON SURKHANDARYO RAW MATERIALS

Abstract. In this work, the effect of chemical additives on clinkers obtained on the basis of Surkhondarya raw materials to improve the crushing and strength properties was studied. It was also analyzed in modern research methods. Suitability for the production of high-grade portland cement was determined.

Nowadays, it is no secret that the appearance of the developed countries in the world is compared with the works of construction. In this regard, the scientists of the world are faced with urgent problems such as the production of high-quality and energy-efficient, resource-efficient construction materials, i.e., cement products. For this reason, it is envisaged to obtain energy and resource-efficient high-grade portland cement by increasing the grinding and strength properties of clinkers obtained on the basis of Surkhondarya raw materials.

In this study, the effect of the use of different chemical additives on the grinding efficiency, setting time and physical properties of cement and on the rheological properties of cement paste was studied [1].

Grinding aids, also known as mill additives, are chemical additives that are introduced in liquid or solid form during grinding in ball mills or vertical cement mills due to their expected benefits. According to their chemical composition, they can be divided into amines and their salts, polyalcohols, lignosulfonates, fatty acids and salts of fatty acids [2].

Chemical additives are polar chemicals introduced in cement mills in liquid or powder form to increase the grinding efficiency of the mill. Research has shown that some chemical additives not only help grinding efficiency, but also play an important role in improving product particle size distribution, improving product flowability in the mill, reducing grinding energy, and increasing separator efficiency. This review investigated the effect of certain properties of cement on performance when chemical admixtures are used [3].

One of the modern development trends of the construction industry is the transition to energy-saving technologies for the production of building materials.

Portland cement production is an energy-intensive industry due to the high fuel consumption for the production of Portland cement clinker. The main way to reduce the amount of clinker in Portland cement is to increase the amount of active mineral additives, in particular, chemical additives. Portland cement accounts for about 20% of the world's total cement production [4].

In this work, the effect of chemical additives on clinkers obtained on the basis of Surkhondarya raw materials to improve the crushing and strength properties was studied. It was also analyzed in modern research methods. Suitability for the production of high-grade portland cement was determined.

The composition, physico-chemical and physico-mechanical properties of clinkers obtained on the basis of raw materials from Yolgizbulok mine, Boysun district, Surkhandarya region were analyzed and the chemical composition of clinkers is presented in Table 1. From the results of the chemical analysis, it can be seen that the composition is higher than the clinkers currently produced in Surkhandarya region.

All experimental tests were carried out according to international requirements GOST-31108-2020.

In order to improve the crushing properties of clinkers, we used tritelamine-based chemical additive MCC 301 in different proportions to accelerate the grinding process by adding gypsum to the obtained clinkers. The obtained proportions are presented in the following table.

Technical parameters of MCC 301 Portland cement samples with chemical additives were compared with Portland cement samples without chemical additives. It was found that the technical parameters of Portland cement samples with chemical additives are high.

Portland cement samples with added chemical additives were analyzed on a Vysokoproizvoditelnyy energodispersionnyy rentgenovskiy fluorenstsentnyy spectrometer - Japan, Rigaku NEX CG EDXRF Analyzer with Polarization in set -9022 19 000 0 Fig. 1.

As can be seen from the above, it was found that the chemical composition of the portland cement samples crushed by adding a chemical additive (MCC 301 plasticizer) to the clinkers obtained on the basis of Surkhondarya raw materials is the composition of the M500 D0 brand portland cement.
