Abstract: the aim of this study is to study the influence of the method of neurolinguistic programming (NLP) on the speaking skills of students. Proficiency in some languages is required to take advantage. One of the most widely spoken languages in the world is English. The English language plays a very important role for a person. As the second most important native speaker of the language of numbers, English is emerging as the key to international communication. The article focuses listening and speaking skills and helpful drills through NLP.

Аннотация: целью данного исследования является изучение влияния метода нейролингвистического программирования (НЛП) на разговорные навыки студентов. Чтобы воспользоваться преимуществами, необходимо знание некоторых языков. Один из самых распространенных языков в мире - английский. Английский язык играет очень важную роль для человека. Будучи вторым по важности носителем языка чисел, английский становится ключом к международному общению. В статье рассматриваются навыки аудирования и разговорной речи, а также полезные упражнения по НЛП.

Introduction. There are four basic skills in English; listening, speaking, reading and writing, which can be divided into two dimensions. By the way of communication, there are spoken and written languages. However, another parameter is based on the direction of the link; creating and receiving a message. When learning a language, it is impossible to separate every skill. They should be studied as a whole in order to complement each other. The first skill you need to master in order to master a language is listening.

This refers to oral comprehension skills. People get their first information by listening to a speaker because no one can tell before they listen. Hearing is defined not only as hearing something, but also as understanding the message being transmitted. Listening is associated with speaking because it can improve someone's knowledge and ability to speak. But unlike listening, speaking is a productive speaking skill. People usually express their feelings, thoughts and needs in conversation.

Methodology. While conversation isn't just about how people pronounce words, it still becomes the easiest way to express what's in the mind. It is known that the ability to speak depends on the ability to listen. Another skill to master when learning a language is reading. It has a similar type of listening; it is a receptive skill, but in writing. This leads to the fact that reading can develop independently of listening and speaking skills.

Through reading skills, people can expand their vocabulary and learn the written structures of the language. While reading usually occurs after you listen and speak, it can play a large role in the learning process, especially in gaining information from written text. The last basic language skill is writing. It's a productive writing skill. As with speech, writing also has a very close relationship with its partner, reading. They are presented in writing related to spelling and grammar. All of these skills are better suited for English learners [1].

English, as an EFL setting, people comment on in two aspects: speaking and writing, where the student is usually fluent in both oral and written speech, will receive an assessment from people that he can speak English. As a result, there are some factors that are believed to contribute to the development of students' speaking skills in English, that is, the teaching method of speaking. Thus, this study aims to investigate whether there is any influence between neurolinguistic programming (NLP) techniques on students' conversational skills in English at universities teaching languages [2].

Intensive: The first type of colloquial speech often used in an assessment context is the production of short spoken segments designed to demonstrate competence in a narrow range of grammatical, phrasal, lexical, or phonological relationships (such as prosodic intonation, stress, rhythm, etc.) Examples of advanced assessment tasks include directed response tasks, reading aloud, sentence completion and dialogue completion, limited picture tasks including simple sequences and relationships down to the level of simple sentences.

The next type of spoken language is responsive assessment tasks involving interaction and reading comprehension, but on a somewhat limited level, very short conversations, standard greetings and small talk, simple requests and comments, and the like. The fourth type of conversation is interactive. The difference between responsive and interactive speech lies in the length and complexity of the interaction, which sometimes involves the exchange of views between participants and / or multiple participants [4].

Then third from type of speaking is Extensive (monologues). Extensive oral production tasks include speeches, oral production tasks include speeches, oral presentations, and storytelling, during which the opportunity for oral interaction from listeners is either highly limited (perhaps to nonverbal responses) or ruled out together [1].

Richards Dan Roger stated: "NLP is a collection of techniques, patterns and strategies to promote effective communication, personal growth and change, and learning." The authors analyze that NLP has strategies or techniques or patterns used to teach in order to grow [7].

Then a similar opinion was expressed by Millrood: "Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) is an approach to language teaching that is said to help achieve high results in student achievement." In this case, it is almost the same as the previous theory, because NLP is an approach that helps students in their learning process to achieve outstanding results [6].

Conclusion. Based on the above description, it can be concluded that there is a significant impact of the NLP method on English-speaking students. The average English-speaking students taught using the NLP method better than students who taught using the conventional method. This study examines the differences between English-speaking students studying the traditional method and students studying the NLP method. The following conclusions will be presented as the final result of this study.
