СОВРЕМЕННЫЕ ТЕХНИЧЕСКИЕ СРЕДСТВА ОБУЧЕНИЯ НА УРОКЕ АНГЛИЙСКОГО ЯЗЫКА

В статье рассматривается применении новых информационных технологий при обучении английскому языку. Под применением новых информационных технологий в обучении иностранным языкам подразумевают не только практическое применение современных технических средств и технологий, но и использование новых форм и методов преподавания иностранного языка и подхода к процессу обучения в целом.

The question of the application of new information technologies in teaching English is becoming more urgent. Under the application of new information technologies in teaching foreign languages, it is not only the practical application of modern technical means and technologies that is meant, but also the use of new forms and methods of teaching a foreign language and an approach to the learning process as a whole. One of the main tasks of the teacher is the activation of each student's activity, creating a situation for their creative activity. It is clear that the use of computers and multimedia helps not only to implement a personal-oriented approach to learning, but also to ensure individualization and differentiation, taking into account the level of knowledge of students. Very much depends on the teacher, on his desire to use information technology in a foreign language lesson. When asked: will the teacher replace the computer, one can safely answer: no, it will never replace, but it will be replaced by a teacher who owns information technologies. To achieve a new quality of education, today's English teacher not only has to master ICT, but also realize how much the approach to the correlation of the functions of the learning process changes: traditionally the guiding and controlling functions are gradually replaced by the orienting and systematizing functions. Thus, only under these conditions, a purposeful joint activity of the teacher and students in the information and educational environment (IOS) can be fully implemented.

If in the traditional teaching the main task was to transfer a certain amount of knowledge to the student, the formation of a number of skills, the goal of learning in the IOS is to teach the learner to set and solve cognitive problems, and for this to find, process, use and create information, navigate the information space. The main characteristics of IOS are:

1) Openness, which is provided through interaction of the environment with the information and educational space and allows for the organization of vari- ous training that meets the student's development objectives.

2) The internal unity of the learning process - the learning objectives, the activities of the teacher, the activities of the students and the intended result. The unity of the learning process arises as a result of conscious actions of the participants in the pedagogical process and is formed taking into account the content of the educational material, the optimal methods that contribute to the achievement of the goals of education and development.

3) Multifunctionality of the learning process. The environment can be both a source of knowledge, and at the same time contribute to the organization of various forms of independent work of students. IOS makes it possible to realize the didactic possibilities of innovative technologies, effectively organize individual and collective work of students.

Today it is already quite clear that it is education in the information and educational environment that significantly increases the effectiveness of education in general and the study of a foreign language in particular. However, one of the problems is that paradoxical situation, when as a result of a huge gap between generations in the level of computer literacy, the teacher first began to feel his

defectiveness before the students. The information space, which students who master modern computer technologies, actively learn, opens before students huge opportunities for acquiring knowledge and skills, often, unfortunately, inaccessible even to the teacher who has worked for many years at the university. It should be noted that the market of electronic educational products (EOP) presents a wide range of CDs with various electronic resources, claiming the role of ideal language courses. However, it is well known that a lot of electronic educational resources carry knowingly false knowledge, distort the essence of the phenomena being studied, are especially dangerous because they teach young people to illegible use unverified data for independent work. It is extremely important to monitor the teacher, who has the appropriate training and is able to teach students to carefully select information. It is quite natural that, the teacher experiences considerable psychological discomfort, realizing that young people are much better oriented in the new information environment. Moreover, it is very difficult to keep the attention of students born in the age of informatization, exclusively by traditional teaching methods. In the context of changing the content of education, ICT opens up huge opportunities to increase the motivation of students and the formation of strong language skills. Computer training programs have many advantages over traditional teaching methods. They allow you to train different types of speech activity and combine them in different combinations, help to understand language phenomena, form language abilities, create communicative situations, automate linguistic and speech actions, and also ensure the implementation of an individual approach and intensification of students' independent work. The computer allows the learner to use all three channels of perception: auditory, visual and kinesthetic, which allows to increase the volume and strength of mastering the studied material, significantly increases the status of students in the learning process, increases cognitive activity of students and supports interest in the subject, and also expands the field for self activity of students, makes it possible to create situations of personal importance for each student, allows using the Internet as a means of immersion in virtual space. Another example of the successful involvement of students in the learning process is the use of interactive whiteboard (Interactive Whiteboard). The electronic touchpad with the appropriate software successfully replaces the mass of additional equipment - a DVD player, an audio recorder, a TV set - and is able to turn any foreign language cabinet into a dynamic learning environment. To date, the most universal technical training tool are electronic interactive boards SMART Board. Electronic interactive whiteboards are an effective way to introduce the electronic content of educational material and multimedia materials into the learning process. The material of the lesson clearly appears on the screen of the interactive whiteboard and targets each student for active and fruitful activity. Prepared thematic texts in English, training and screening exercises, colorful pictures of various types, the material of English-language multimedia discs, audio and video materials serve to introduce or activate the lesson material, to repeat or reinforce lexical units and the grammatical structure of the language, to control and self-control knowledge.

Interactive whiteboard allows you to work without using the keyboard, mouse and computer monitor. All the necessary actions can be done directly on the screen by means of a special marker or even a finger. The teacher does not get distracted from the lesson for the necessary manipulation of the computer. This has a positive effect on the quality of the teaching material. Thus, using an interactive whiteboard, you can organize a student's permanent work in electronic form. This significantly saves time, stimulates the development of mental and creative activity, includes all students in the classroom. So, reasonable use of practically limitless possibilities of modern technical means in English language lessons should contribute to the formation of language competencies, the development of creative thinking and, most importantly, the desire for continuous improvement.
