The benefits of knowing English are manifold, including access to some of the most profound works of literature and music, which can be enjoyed and understood by people from different cultures and backgrounds. Moreover, when traveling to foreign countries, knowing the language is essential for comfortable and effective communication with people from different parts of the world. English also opens doors to studying at prestigious universities worldwide, as proficiency in the language is a crucial selection criterion for admission.

Apart from the aforementioned benefits, proficiency in English is also essential for finding jobs in large organizations. It allows for effective communication with business partners, attending international conferences, and reading international magazines and newspapers. English is an essential language in many areas of human activity, including science, technology, economics, trade, sports, and tourism. In fact, it has become the international language in aviation and cargo transportation.

With almost 90% of all data stored on modern computers compiled in English, it is clear that English proficiency is becoming increasingly important. Moreover, instructions on techniques, computer programs, the press, and television are often limited to English, and this foreign language is becoming increasingly prevalent in everyday life. Consequently, English proficiency has become essential for effective communication in various areas of human activity.

However, learning English can be challenging due to the numerous difficulties that learners face, such as the vast vocabulary, complex grammar, and pronunciation. Learning a new language requires a lot of patience, diligence, and passion for knowledge. Nevertheless, recent advancements in technology have provided innovative ways and methods for learning English that can significantly improve the learning process.

In particular, the use of Information Technology has revolutionized language learning, allowing individuals to overcome age, time, and spatial barriers. The internet provides a platform for developing oral speech skills, vocabulary and grammar, and realistic communication with native speakers on various topics. It also provides access to information sources from anywhere in the world, including local lore, youth life news, articles in newspapers and magazines, and more.

Various services provided by the internet, such as e-mail, conversations, teleconferences, video conferencing, publishing pages on websites, and accessing information catalogs and search engines, have been particularly helpful in improving language skills. Programs such as ICQ and Skype facilitate

with native speakers and practice their language skills in a realistic setting.

Moreover, the internet offers various resources for language learners, including reading materials of varying degrees of complexity, audio and video materials, dictionaries, and tools for practicing grammar and pronunciation. Through the use of the latest programs, learners can record and analyze their progress, individualizing the learning process and increasing the level of interest in the results.

Thus, English proficiency is essential in today's globalized world, as it enables effective communication in various areas of human activity. While learning a new language can be challenging, advancements in technology have provided innovative ways and methods for language learning that can significantly improve the learning process.

LITERATURE REVIEW AND METHODOLOGY

As a language learning topic, there is a plethora of literature on the methods and approaches that can be used to effectively learn English as a foreign language. Various studies have been conducted on the use of technology in language learning, as well as the effectiveness of different teaching methods and materials.

One approach that has gained popularity in recent years is the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) method, which emphasizes the importance of communication in language learning. According to this approach, language learners should focus on using the language in real-life situations, rather than just learning grammar and vocabulary in isolation. This approach has been shown to be effective in improving learners' speaking and listening skills.

Another approach that has been widely studied is the use of technology in language learning. Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL) is a method that incorporates technology into language learning to provide learners with a more interactive and engaging learning experience. Studies have shown that the use of CALL can improve learners' vocabulary, listening and reading comprehension, and writing skills.

Other studies have focused on the effectiveness of specific language learning materials, such as textbooks, audio and video materials, and online resources. These studies have highlighted the importance of using a variety of materials to cater to different learning styles and to keep learners engaged and motivated.

In terms of methodology, many studies have used surveys, interviews, and pre- and post-tests to measure the effectiveness of different language learning approaches and materials. Some

studies have also used experimental designs to compare the effectiveness of different methods and materials.

Overall, the literature suggests that a combination of effective teaching methods, varied materials, and the use of technology can contribute to successful English language learning. However, it is important to tailor the approach and materials to the individual learner and their specific needs and preferences.

RESULST AND DISCUSSION

English is a language with a vast range of complexity that makes learning it a challenging task. One of the most significant obstacles that language learners face is the irregularities in English spelling and pronunciation. In English, the pronunciation of words often does not match their spelling, and vice versa, which makes it hard for learners to know how to pronounce and spell words correctly. Furthermore, English has many verb tenses and grammatical rules that differ from those in other languages, such as Russian. As a result, learners may struggle to remember the proper usage of these tenses and rules.

Another challenge for English language learners is the numerous sounds formed by different combinations of letters. English has 26 letters, but it has around 48 sounds. Some sounds are formed by combinations of two or more letters, which can be difficult for learners to master. The wide range of sounds in English makes it difficult for learners to understand spoken English and to pronounce words accurately.

In addition to the complexities of English pronunciation and grammar, learners need to acquire a significant number of words to communicate effectively in the language. The number of words required varies depending on the level of proficiency the learner wants to achieve. For example, to communicate at the spoken level, learners need to know about 3,500 words, while for the business level, learners should know about 8,000 words. For the academic level, learners need to acquire over 15,000 words. Knowing this information helps learners understand the extent of the vocabulary they need to master to communicate effectively in English.

So, the challenges of learning English are numerous and diverse. Learners must overcome difficulties with irregular spelling and pronunciation, complex grammatical rules, and a vast number of words to master the language. Nonetheless, with a desire to learn, patience, and diligence, learners can acquire the necessary skills to communicate effectively in English.

Despite the challenges of learning English, it can also be an interesting and engaging process. With the advent of modern

technology, there are now many ways to overcome the difficulties of language learning. Learning English over the internet has become increasingly popular in recent years, as it provides learners with a wealth of resources and opportunities to improve their language skills.

The use of information technology has helped overcome age, time, and spatial barriers, allowing individuals to learn English throughout their lifetime. The internet provides a platform for learners to practice their oral speech skills, as well as learn vocabulary and grammar through realistic communication with real interlocutors on current topics. Additionally, it creates a space for individuals to access necessary information from anywhere in the world, whether it be local lore, news, or articles in newspapers and magazines.

Furthermore, the internet offers a variety of services that aid language learning, including email and conversations for writing skills, teleconferences and video conferencing for oral speech skills, publishing pages and posting on sites, accessing information sources, information catalogs, search engines, websites, and chat. These services can be utilized through programs such as ICQ and Skype, which allow for interactive communication that can aid in deeper language learning.

The integration of technology in language learning is essential as it bridges the gap between language theory and practical usage. Through interactive communication, learners can develop not only their language skills but also their cultural awareness, as they engage with individuals from different parts of the world. Therefore, learning English through the internet provides an opportunity for individuals to engage in lifelong learning and enhance their career prospects, as well as develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of different cultures.

We can say that technology has revolutionized the way we learn languages, and English is no exception. The internet provides a vast array of resources and opportunities for language learners to overcome the difficulties associated with learning English, making it an engaging and accessible process. With the aid of technology, language learning can be an enjoyable and rewarding experience that enhances not only language skills but also cultural awareness and career prospects.

In today's globalized world, knowing a foreign language has become an essential skill for personal and professional development. While many people seek help from language learning organizations to acquire a new language, there are several effective ways to learn a language without leaving home. However, learning a language is not just about memorizing vocabulary and grammar rules; it requires the development of all language skills, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

To learn a language effectively, it is essential to find a balance between these skills and develop them systematically. While conscious learning can help, the subconscious mind plays a significant role in acquiring a new language. One way to engage the subconscious mind is to immerse yourself in the language, whether it is by listening to music, watching TV shows or movies, or communicating with native speakers. These activities allow you to absorb new material naturally and subconsciously.

Experts recommend practicing new words in different situations and contexts to improve retention and recall. Repetition is key to learning new vocabulary, and practicing with other students or native speakers can help improve communication skills. Furthermore, reading interesting books and stories, listening to audio and video materials, and communicating with people in English can help your mind develop an interest in the language, and you can quickly master new words and phrases.

Another effective way to learn a language is to use innovative technologies such as language learning apps or software. For instance, there are several language learning apps that allow users to learn new vocabulary, practice grammar, and improve pronunciation. Many of these apps also provide opportunities for language exchange, allowing users to practice with native speakers or other learners from around the world.

Moreover, the internet provides a wealth of resources for language learners, such as language learning websites, online dictionaries, and language exchange forums. One can use these resources to improve their language skills at their own pace and according to their interests.

We can conclude that learning a new language requires patience, perseverance, and a willingness to engage with the language actively. Engaging the subconscious mind, practicing in different situations, and using innovative technologies can help you learn a language effectively. Learning a new language opens up many opportunities for personal and professional development, and with the right approach, anyone can acquire this valuable skill.

CONCLUSION

All things considered, English has become an essential language in today's globalized world, and proficiency in the language can significantly improve one's personal and professional prospects. Despite the numerous challenges associated with learning English, advancements in technology have provided innovative ways and methods to make the learning process more accessible and engaging.
