Therefore, patriotism is broader than the concept of military patriotism. It is, in its social essence, a reality that belongs to citizens today, and military patriotism is a characteristic of the military people. But both of them mean the idea of a common motherland in the heart and serve its interests, protection and prestige.

According to the academic E.Yusupov, patriotism is a virtue for all who link their destiny with the homeland and the fate of the nation. Opportunities, fame and prestige of the nation's development also depend on the level of patriotism of the people of that nation. Patriotism is manifested as a component of both national and universal moral values. According to the scientist, "patriotism is the attitude towards the motherland, and the purpose and direction of human activity is the patriotism. Such definitions and classifications can be summarized again.

The professionalism of patriotism is evident in the professors' military program. If ordinary citizens have this characteristic of a universal character, a virtue that comes from voluntary human activity, then the military is the core of the profession, the core of its activities. That is why the professors program of military servicemen in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan includes the following obligations related to the sense of patriotism:

- to adhere to the military oath, to serve the people, to defend the state independence and territorial integrity of the Republic of Uzbekistan with courage and skill, to spare the last drop of their blood and even life, to carry out military duty;

- strictly follow the constitution and laws of their country, and comply with the requirements of military regulations;

-to withstand the hardships of military service related to the defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

- systematic acquisition of military professional knowledge, improvement of their rights and military skills;

- maintain a readiness for use and transfer of the assigned weapons and military equipment, and the protection of military property;

- be honest, disciplined, courageous, protect the military property, take reasonable steps in the performance of the duty;

- the unconditional obedience and protection of commanders in the fight, the guard of the military unit's flag;

- to honor military fraternity, to save their comrades from danger, to help them by word and deed, to respect the dignity of each, to abstain from humiliation against himself and other servicemen;

- to observe the rules of military conduct and military greetings, always wear uniform, neat and clean.

Commitment to military oath is a term used for a person who is serving in the military or passing it. It is done at a certain time, order and condition. Commitment to military oath comes as the end of this military act, and is done equally by both the military officer and the citizen who took the oath.

Military oath is a symbol of faith. The citizen who delivered it is assumed to abide by the standards required by the military service. Breaking the oath is a traitor. The oath encourages a person to live a vigilant life, and obliges it not to spread information about the fate of the country to strangers, strangers and enemies. In order not to violate this duty, they swear on behalf of parents, families, and all people, and thus expresses the patriotism in their heart. The oath of allegiance is the highest form of patriotism.

Patriotism is also reflected in the protection of the Constitution (the Basic Law), which is a strategic goal, which defines the development of the society and the nation. The constitution and laws based on it are not normal, they have the strategic purpose of society, their vision of the future and their dreams. Protecting them is the same as protecting the motherland.

Sometimes patriotism is interpreted as military courage, defiance of the opponent, protection of social interests and order. In this interpretation, patriotism is seen as a fierce struggle, a product of war. Such a virtue can be called the peak of patriotism. But patriotism is a constant quest, a homeland right. It is worth remembering that it is also involved in the dissemination of ideas, creative search, and hard work for the prosperity of the country. Everyone loves his country. This means that they love their country, not because of their wealth, but because their heart, body and existence are in harmony with their motherland.

The constant increase of patriotism in military personnel, their knowledge and experience in this profession is inseparably linked with military skills. Patriotism has an inner sense of humor, but it comes with military knowledge and military skills in military personnel. Professionalism, military tactics, the use of weapons are a practical manifestation of the sense of patriotism. Military discipline, brotherhood, unconditional execution, behavior, aesthetics that differ from ordinary citizens are also a way of expressing the honor, authority, and power of the motherland, on the one hand, and the demands of the military. It is impossible to imagine today's military man without the military skills and military aesthetics. Patriotism comes in the way of military life, not as individual traits or virtues, but in the way of their entire social existence. Therefore, patriotism is an integral part of their social existence.
