Б.Н. Абдуллаева, М.Ю. Утанова GOALS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE SCHOOL COMPUTER SCIENCE COURSE

The article highlights the goals and objectives of the computer science course in school teaching. The components that contribute to the development of knowledge that form the basis of scientific ideas about information, information processes, systems, technologies and models are defined.

Key words: computer science, goal, task, course, teaching.

The educational standard for "Informatics and ICT" sets out the goals of studying the subject, which are divided into classes. At the main school, the study of computer science and ICT is aimed at achieving the following goals:

* mastering the knowledge that forms the basis of scientific ideas about information, information processes, systems, technologies and models;

* mastering the skills to work with various types of information using a computer and other means of information and communication technologies (ICT);

* development of cognitive interests, intellectual and creative abilities by means of ICT;

* education of a responsible attitude to information, taking into account the legal and ethical aspects of its dissemination; selective attitude to the information received;

* developing skills to use ICT tools in everyday life, in the implementation of individual and collective projects, in educational activities, and in the further development of professions that are in demand on the labor market.

In high school, the following goals are set at the basic level:

* development of a system of basic knowledge that reflects the contribution of computer science to the formation of a modern scientific picture of the world, the role of information processes in society, biological and technical systems;

* mastering the skills to apply, analyze, and transform information models of real objects and processes, using information and communication technologies, including in the study of other school subjects;

* development of cognitive interests, intellectual and creative abilities through the development and use of computer science methods and ICT tools in the study of various academic subjects;

* fostering a responsible attitude to compliance with ethical and legal norms of information activities;

* acquisition of experience in using information technologies in individual and collective educational and cognitive activities, including project activities. In high school, the following goals are set at the profile level:

* development and systematization of knowledge related to: mathematical objects of computer science; to the construction of descriptions of objects and processes that allow their computer modeling; to modeling tools; to information processes in biological, technological and social systems;

* mastering the skills to build mathematical objects of computer science, including logical formulas and programs in a formal language that meet the specified description; create programs in the programming language according to their description; use common user tools and configure them for the user's needs;

* development of algorithmic thinking, formalization abilities, and elements of system thinking;

* fostering a sense of responsibility for the results of their work; forming an attitude to positive social activities in the information society, to the inadmissibility of actions that violate the legal and ethical norms of working with information;

* gaining experience in project activities, creating, editing, design, saving, and transmitting information objects of various types using modern software tools;

* building computer models, collective implementation of information projects, and information activities in various areas that are in demand on the labor market.

The listed goals of a school course in computer science and ICT can be grouped into three main General goals: educational, practical, and educational. These General learning goals are determined taking into account the place of computer science in the system of Sciences and the life of modern society

The educational goal of computer science education is to provide each student with initial fundamental knowledge of the basics of computer science, including ideas about the processes of transformation, transfer and use of information, and on this basis to reveal the importance of information processes in shaping the scientific picture of the world, the role of information technologies and computers in the development of modern society. is necessary to equip students with basic skills and abilities for a solid assimilation of this knowledge and the basics of other Sciences.

The implementation of the educational goal in accordance with the laws of didactics contributes to the overall mental development of students, the development of their thinking and creative abilities. The practical goal is to contribute to the labor and technological training of students, arming them with the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for the next work activity. Students should not only be introduced to the theoretical foundations of computer science, but also be taught how to work on a computer and use modern information technologies; introduce you to professions that are directly related to computers.

The educational goal is realized by the worldview influence on the student by realizing the importance of computer technology and information technologies for the development of civilization and society. It is important to form an idea of information as one of the three fundamental concepts of science: matter, energy, and information.

The use of modern information technologies in training forms a culture of intellectual work. Studying computer science requires students to make certain mental and volitional efforts, concentration, logic, and imagination. In the course of computer science, the student should learn to clearly and meticulously implement the algorithm of their actions, be able to write it down exactly on paper and accurately enter it into the computer. This gradually weans students from inaccuracy, indistinctness, incompleteness, vagueness, carelessness, etc. Of course, all these three goals are interrelated and cannot be implemented in isolation from each other. You can't get an educational effect by ignoring the practical side of the training content.
