Симбиотические отношения между технологией и языком — это динамическое взаимодействие, которое развивалось на протяжении всей истории. В этой статье рассматривается глубокое влияние технологий на лингвистический ландшафт, с особым акцентом на их влияние на современный английский язык. Начиная с исторической перспективы, мы прослеживаем трансформацию языка посредством ключевых технологических достижений, от печатного станка до цифровой эпохи. Развитие Интернета, социальных сетей и инструментов цифровой коммуникации открыло новую эру лингвистических инноваций и эволюции. Исследуя лингвистические последствия цифровой эпохи, мы изучаем создание новых слов и выражений, распространенность сокращений и акронимов, а также упрощение языка для эффективного общения.
