INTRODUCTION
Drawing is a fundamental aspect of human expression, dating back to prehistoric times when early humans depicted their experiences and surroundings on cave walls. Today, drawing continues to be a vital form of visual communication, enabling individuals to convey ideas, emotions, and observations through mark-making and imagery. In educational settings, teaching drawing goes beyond imparting technical skills; it involves fostering creativity, critical thinking, and visual literacy among students. Central to effective drawing instruction are the teaching tools and materials utilized, which play a crucial role in shaping the learning experience and facilitating skill development. This paper aims to examine the essential components needed for every drawing lesson, providing educators with valuable insights to enhance their teaching practices and empower students to explore their artistic potential.
