The world of today learning language is the main issue among youth. In addition new methods of teaching insist on integrating all four skills in the context. This article deals with the usage of effective tasks for developing speaking skill.

education and teaching languages. Before moving to the role of competitive capacity of a student, one has to identify what is effective language learning and what skills are associated with it. In studying any foreign language starting from English, six main skills such as listening, reading, writing, speaking, vocabulary and grammar should be maintained equally while memory and the interest of a student for learning the language are considered to hold a vital position in shaping these skills. Competitiveness is defined as "Ability of a firm or a nation to offer products and services that meet the quality standards of the local and world markets at prices that are competitive and provide adequate returns on the resources employed or consumed in producing them" [1]. If transformed into the sphere of education, this term can be defined as an ability of a student to implement his abilities into practice which meet the quality standards of educational system and develop his/her own capabilities in a competitive way, rather trying to be more effective, productive than others. It has been remarked that when the students are given the tasks which demand adversarial approach, the productivity and effectiveness, interest to the topic among students will increase drastically and every of them try to possess competitive advantage which means more learning, being more efficient.

If arranged properly, the spirit of friendly competitiveness in the classroom can be a driving power, stimuli to achieve more. Students are highly different in implementing their capacities since there are considered to be visual, auditory, kinesthetic learners and teachers should be aware of these while getting prepared for the lesson. The classroom atmosphere is relatively important and dividing the classroom into the groups simultaneously triggering off in them the mood of competitiveness with appropriate tasks will raise their academic interest and even hold a motivating position. After completing educational process, as an employee, they are required to have competitive strength to shine among others, to have more lucrative opportunities and to be promoted in their career life. Productivity is important because it has been found to be the main factor driving growth and income levels. And income levels are very closely linked to human welfare. So understanding the factors that allow for this chain of events to occur is very important. Basically, rising competitiveness means rising prosperity.

At present, speaking a foreign language represents one of the essential requirements of today's societies. Besides other skills and knowledge, it is considered as one of the most influencing factors while applying for a job or sustaining in a particular work position under

the condition of advancing the language level. Owing to the progress of language teaching around the world and the efforts to reinforce the oral skills classes, various effective methods which are presumed to prompt the learners to use their speaking abilities are produced and utilized during English classes.

Learning a foreign language is very important for pe^ml and sоcial devetopment [1]. At present, new approaches are created for effective language teaching and modern tasks are used in the classrооm to devetop students' communicative language use. Because mwadays the importance of speaking in a foreign language is considered as the initial demand of language learning. But oral skills have not always been viewed as a central issue in second or foreign language pedagogy. For that reason, it was intended to carry out a research on this issue. The range of the resources includes distinctive online articles, studies and books. So it was reviewed all the sources separating five subtitles. In the first section sоme definitions, peculiarities and significance of speaking were highlighted.

It is important to classify diversities between spoken production and spoken interaction. Next section includes the features of teaching speaking skills. It discusses how teaching a foreign language should be conducted in the classroom, what kind of obstacles students can face with during the process of learning, principles proposed by different methodologists and the stages of acceptable teaching speaking skills.

The main reason for using these methods for developing speaking skill was realizing how important speaking is in academic and professional situations. The main issue to concentrate on communicative tasks which might be helpful for both English learners and teachers is to enhance speaking skills. The article focuses on using effective tasks to reinforce spoken production in the classroom. By establishing a communicative learning environment, it was tried to find a way for students to improve their speaking ability. As we know there are a lot effective tasks and the most interactive three of them to use in teaching: presentation, role play and debate. These techniques really involve students related to effective communicative tasks for developing spoken production.It will be essential tool the investigation and the results will be profitable for those who are eager to increase their communication skills.

So nowadays there is a great amount of speaking activities. So teachers have huge difficulties while collecting data and designing activities for teaching classes which make students to speаk. After designing materials teachers need to classify these tasks [2]. So a lot of schokrs classified oral tasks to aid teachers to select the most appropriate activities for each learning situation and style. Their clаssification prioritizes the wide range of spoken activities. These categories аre divided into two sections: macro and micro categories. These macro-categories are: drama type activities, information-gaps, monologues, opinion exchange, questioning, problem-solving, oral drills and brainstorming activities. Micro categories make up each macro category. The types of activities in the micro-categories have the same learning objective but take different forms. For example, the macro-category of drama-type activities has as its aim to get students performed a role. However, there are two micro-categories (types of activities) in which students must perform a role: in simulations or in role-plays.

Language learners who lack confidence in their ability to participate successfully in oral interaction often listen in silence while others do the talking [3]. One way to encourage such learners to begin to participate is to help them build up a stock of minimal responses that they can use in different types of exchanges. Such responses can be especially useful for beginners.

By writing this article, it was possessed a good foundation of experience for the future career in foreign language pedagogy. The article encourages all teachers to explore new methods which activate the learners to speak more in the classroom. As the main goal of writing article is to find effective approaches to develop spoken production, three communicative activities which were mentioned above were considered to be the most eloquent. But the process of the study was not isolated from some problems. Moreover the

topics and themes to speak about were carefully selected in order to motivate the language learners to participate in the discussion in order to develop speaking interaction.

Abstract: English is regarded as one of the most spoken languages over the world. Its influence has reached further distances. The article focuses on the factors of English becoming a language of international business and communication. It further gives information about the varieties of English and analyzes the use of English in Uzbek context. Keywords: global lingua franca, variety, pronunciation, Uzbek English, variant.

English is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world, which has had an official status as a first or second language in more than seventy countries. There exist several factors that influence the maintenance of English as a global language [1]. If we look back on world history, it becomes obvious that the British Empire was the most powerful country which expanded its lands by colonizing the great states like Canada, Australia, New Zealand, several countries in Africa and without doubt the new land America.

The process of colonization brought not only its economical and political systems, but also gave rise to the merge of local language, culture and traditions with those of British. If Britain was the stimuli of English in the past, the present motivation and a large-scale need for use of English derives from the political and economical power of the United States. The big influence the US has on international trade causes English to become the most demanded and used language. The next factor of English extension throughout the globe can be explained by American popular culture [2].

English comes into people's homes via songs of Eminem, Britney Spears and Michael Jackson; it creeps into people's way of life via Hollywood films like Titanic, Avatar and Matrix. Furthermore, the factor of the Internet is no less significant than the aforementioned. We should mention the fact that about seventy per cent of the information on the Internet is in English. This in turn triggered the creation of a new Internet language which is distinguished by its contractive character (IMHO, LOL, BTW and etc.).

For many years, English has preserved its position as a global lingua franca and factors mentioned above have played a great role in the origination of diverse varieties of English.Some examples include British English, American English, Australian English, Canadian English, Indian English, Philippine English and many more others. They may vary in terms of grammar (Past Simple is used instead of Present Perfect in American English), vocabulary (they say dinkumin Australia when they mean "true"), phonology ([i] sound is longer in the pronunciation been in Canada [bi:n] compared to [bin] in British English).
