ASSESSMENT OF THE RELIABILITY OF THE TRANSMISSION OF LINGUISTIC FEATURES IN THE TRANSLATION OF A WORK OF ART

ABSTRACT
This research focuses on evaluating the reliability of transmitting linguistic features during the translation of a work of art. Translation, particularly in the realm of artistic expression, involves intricate nuances that extend beyond literal word-forword conversion. The study employs a multidimensional approach, considering linguistic elements such as syntax, semantics, and cultural context. By analyzing translations of select works of art, the research aims to identify patterns, challenges, and potential improvements in the transmission of linguistic features. Additionally, the study explores the impact of cultural nuances on the faithful representation of linguistic aspects in the translated work. The findings contribute to the understanding of the complexities involved in translating artistic expressions and provide insights for enhancing the reliability of such transmissions.

АННОТАЦИЯ
Данное исследование посвящено оценке надежности передачи лингвистических характеристик в процессе перевода произведения искусства. Перевод, особенно в области художественного выражения, включает в себя сложные нюансы, выходящие за пределы буквального словесного преобразования. В исследовании используется многомерный подход, рассматривая лингвистические элементы, такие как синтаксис, семантика и культурный контекст. Анализируя переводы выбранных произведений искусства, исследование стремится выявить закономерности, проблемы и потенциальные улучшения в передаче лингвистических характеристик. Кроме того, исследование изучает влияние культурных нюансов на верную репрезентацию лингвистических аспектов в переведенном произведении. Полученные результаты способствуют пониманию сложностей, сопряженных с переводом художественных выражений, и предоставляют инсайты для улучшения надежности таких передач.

Assessing the reliability of the transmission of linguistic and cultural characteristics in translation is one of the important aspects of research. When translating a work of art, attention should be paid to how correctly and fully the features inherent in the language and culture of the author are conveyed. The first criterion for assessing reliability is the accuracy of the transmission of the lexical-semantic properties and stylistic features of the original. The translator must take into account the subtleties and subtleties of the language and convey them in the most appropriate way to another language.
It is also necessary to take into account the context in which certain words and phrases are used to maintain the integrity and emotional strength of the original. The second criterion is associated with the transmission of cultural features and images of the novel. The translator must be attentive to the traditions, customs and values that are reflected in the text and strive to preserve them in translation. This may involve the use of equivalent phrases, symbols and images that are understandable and meaningful to the Uzbek reader. It is also important to take into account changes in culture over time and adapt the text accordingly. The third criterion is to maintain the style and overall tone of the work. The artistic translation should not only convey the main content and meaning of the original, but also preserve its unique atmosphere and style. It may be necessary to use literary or poetic means to create such an environment in the Uzbek language. In addition, it is necessary to take into account the requirements and expectations of the Uzbek reader. The translator should strive to make the text understandable and accessible to the audience, while retaining the author's basic ideas and intentions. This may require certain compromises and adaptations to ensure that the translation is unique and attractive to the Uzbek reader.
Sometimes the assessment of the reliability of the transmission of linguistic features in translation can be subjective and depends on the interpretation of the translator. However, regular verification of the compliance of the translation with the original, discussion with other specialists, and advanced translation practice will help to increase the accuracy and reliability of the transmission of linguocultural features in the translation. These are just some aspects of assessing the reliability of the transmission of linguistic features in the translation of a work of art. To achieve maximum accuracy and completeness, the translator must be literate and competent in the fields of language, culture and literature, as well as attentive to the smallest details and features of the text.
