The role of information and communication and advanced pedagogical technologies is growing at a high level in our educational system, where innovative educational processes are developing more and more. The issue of using information and communication and advanced pedagogical technologies in improving their English language skills is especially important. For this reason, increasing the knowledge of information and communication and advanced pedagogical technologies among teachers will greatly help in improving their English language skills. Abstract. The role of information and communication and advanced pedagogical technologies is growing at a high level in our educational system, where innovative educational processes are developing more and more. That is why it is very important for all specialists working in the higher education system, especially teachers, to have knowledge in this regard. The issue of using information and communication and advanced pedagogical technologies in improving their English language skills is especially important. For this reason, increasing the knowledge of information and communication and advanced pedagogical technologies among teachers will greatly help in improving their English language skills. This article analyzes exactly these issues.

To fundamentally improve the quality of education in the educational institutions of our republic, to widely introduce modern information and communication and pedagogical technologies, electronic textbooks and multimedia tools into the educational process, to equip the educational and laboratory base with the most modern educational and laboratory equipment, computers special attention is being paid to strengthening with techniques, as well as forming an effective system of material and moral stimulation of teachers' hard work.

The state education standard for foreign languages of the continuing education system lists the goals and tasks of the subject, according to which the main goal of teaching a foreign language at all stages of education in the Republic of Uzbekistan is the education of students. It is emphasized that it is the formation of communicative competence in a foreign language in order to carry out activities in everyday, scientific and professional spheres in the civilized world. This is not only true for students studying in special education, but also for teachers who teach it. For this reason, at the same time, in the conditions of digital education, the use of information and communication and advanced pedagogical technologies in improving the qualifications of teachers in the English language is increasingly becoming a tradition.

Educational principles and educational technologies in general continue to have an impact on today's educational processes. For this reason, it is not inappropriate to emphasize that the role of information and communication and advanced pedagogical technologies is also increasing for the education system that is developing day by day around the world. Based on this, the demands on the knowledge of teachers working in every aspect of the education system are increasing. In particular, it is important to introduce information and communication and advanced pedagogical technologies on a large scale to improve their English language skills.

In modern Uzbekistan, in the period of formation of new socio-humanitarian relations in the society, the role of the teacher of higher education is very high. He should be not only a teacher

who gives materials, checks homework and tests, but also a psychologist, a methodologist, and a worker who creates a working environment that increases the educational efficiency of the team. In addition, based on the requirements of modern education, it is permissible for them to have advanced skills in a foreign language. This is one of the requirements for every teacher working in olive education today in the conditions of innovative and digital education.

The globalization of integration processes in the world, the deepening of international cooperation in the field of education and science of our country, and the rapid development of information, communication and digital technologies are increasing the need to learn foreign languages as a means of mutual communication. According to world experience, introducing advanced methods of teaching in the environment of information and communication technologies, improving the knowledge, skills and abilities of pedagogues in foreign languages, and applying the latest achievements of science and technology to the educational process is relevant.

One of the priorities of the process of informatization of modern society is the informatization of education - the introduction of new information and communication technologies into the educational system. This allows:

1. Improvement of educational system management mechanisms by using scientific-pedagogical information, automated data banks of information-methodical materials, as well as communication networks;

2. Improving the methodology and strategy of choosing the content, methods and organizational forms of professional development that are suitable for the tasks of teacher personality development in the modern conditions of society's informatization;

3. Creating methodological education systems aimed at developing the intellectual potential of the teacher, independent acquisition of knowledge from the English language, formation of information-educational, experimental and scientific-research activities, formation of various types of independent information processing activities;

4. Creation and use of computer testing, diagnostics, monitoring and evaluation systems.

Until recently, it was possible to hear the opinion that using a computer as a technical tool

in their classes is only possible for an informatics teacher and not necessary for other teachers. But today, it is already clear that information and communication technologies open up great opportunities in various fields of professional activity, they provide modern and convenient tools for solving many problems, including educational problems.

Modern information and communication technologies, which provide effective methods of creating, storing, processing and presenting information to the student, are a powerful tool for accelerating the educational process. The peculiarity of the educational system is that, on the one hand, it is a consumer, and on the other hand, it is an active producer of information and communication technologies. At the same time, the technologies born in the educational system are used beyond its borders.

The use of information and communication technologies in education brings various changes to human development, which are related to both cognitive and emotional-motivational processes, which affect the character of a person and increase cognitive motivation in working with students. The use of information and communication technologies in teaching is aimed at increasing the share of independent educational activities and increasing the student's activity,

forming the student's personality, his knowledge acquisition, self-study, self-education, self z-helps to form and actualize self-discipline, self-awareness.

Such positive facts are relevant not only for the expansion of the students' knowledge level, but also for the teachers who provide them with knowledge. It will be effective to use this in the processes of improving the professional competence of pedagogues in foreign languages. It also means making good use of time. In particular, it develops the competence of working with information and communication tools in pedagogues.

In world practice, scientific research is being conducted on the innovative activities of applying information and communication technologies to the educational process in the development of the professional competence of pedagogues in foreign languages. Development of professional communicative competence of pedagogues in the teaching of foreign languages, pedagogical-psychological aspects of the innovation process in the context of globalization, scientifically based improvement of technologies that diagnose the level of development of foreign language skills in pedagogues from the point of view of a competent approach is of great importance.

In the years of independence, the necessary material and technical conditions were created for the development of professional competence of pedagogues, especially teaching staff of higher educational institutions where foreign languages are not spoken. As a result, the provision of electronic information resources serving the development of the professional competence of pedagogues in foreign languages was formed and it was used to increase the effectiveness of the educational process. Also, the military training of our country is aimed at developing students' broad outlook, intellectual potential, creative and analytical thinking, forming solid knowledge in natural and exact sciences, foreign languages and modern information technologies, as well as instilling in them the basic knowledge of military work. It is one of the most urgent issues of today's educational institutions, especially pedagogues who do not speak a foreign language.

No. PF-4732 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 12, 2015 "On measures to further improve the system of retraining and professional development of managers and pedagogues of higher educational institutions" and dated June 7, 2017 Decree No. PF-4947 of February "On the Strategy of Actions for Further Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan", No. PQ-1730 of March 21, 2012 "Measures for the Introduction and Development of Modern Information and Communication Technologies" on measures", dated December 10, 2012 No. PQ-1875 "On measures to further improve the system of learning foreign languages" and decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 8, 2013 - in decisions of May 124 "On the approval of the state education standard for foreign languages of the continuing education system", as well as in other regulatory and legal documents related to this field, on ensuring the quality of education implementation of the specified tasks will make a great contribution to the wide promotion of foreign languages at the country level, and to be more precise, to the improvement of the English language skills of today's modern teachers based on the conditions of digital education.

Based on these tasks, improvement of the information and methodical supply that serves to develop the professional competence of pedagogues in foreign languages and its use in increasing the efficiency of the educational process, close support to the independent mastering of retraining and professional development courses of professors and teachers is giving In addition, pedagogical improvement of the software platform and information-methodical support for the

teaching of foreign languages, the systematic development of knowledge, skills and qualifications of pedagogues in foreign languages, and the improvement of the efficiency of the independent teaching and evaluation system. One of the important tasks is the development of methodical support expanded with modern online technologies, the development of support resources that are the basis for mastering the requirements of learning, teaching and evaluating the common European competences of knowledge of a foreign language in pedagogues.

In the strategy of action on the five priority areas of Uzbekistan's development, further improvement of the continuous education system, increasing the opportunities of quality education services, training of highly qualified personnel in accordance with the modern needs of the labor market are indicated as one of the priority tasks. At the same time, by establishing educational institutions in the country, reconstructing and overhauling the existing ones, providing them with modern teaching-laboratory equipment, computer equipment and teaching-methodical manuals, their material- implementation of specific goal-oriented measures regarding the strengthening of the technical base is also highlighted among the top tasks.

The development of professional competence in foreign languages among pedagogues has its own characteristics, starting from the material and technical base of educational institutions, to the conditions for learning the culture of the people whose language is being studied and maintaining constant communication in this language. is directly related and differs from the issues of improving the professional competence of pedagogues in other areas. This requires a special approach to the issue of priority development of this direction. The role of modern information and communication technologies, which are especially important in solving this problem, is incomparable. For this reason, pedagogues should have certain knowledge, skills and competence, i.e. competence, to work on data, analyze and use it based on the application of this technology in their activities.

We know very well that the integration of information technologies and their multimedia application into modern education contributes to the more flexible and successful formation of foreign language programs. The didactic tasks performed within the "Foreign language" training course based on shunts help many teachers of higher education to independently improve their knowledge of a foreign language outside of the curriculum. For example, the use of mobile applications like HelloTalk, Twitter, YouTube, etc., and the teacher creating his own learning environment for the teachers themselves in the sense of self-directed learning refers to the process of taking responsibility and taking initiative. Therefore, information and communication tools or advanced technologies are used in the learning process, including diagnosis of learning needs, development of curriculum, identification, learning, selection and implementation of appropriate learning strategies, and their implementation. serves as a necessary support tool for the teacher of higher education in the evaluation of learning results.

As the relevance of introducing English language to educational processes of higher education on the basis of information technologies is seen in the urgent need to improve the quality of education related to the public and to use them, the teacher should also have knowledge in this regard. determines the necessity. Because of the same reason, improving the English language skills of teachers proves its importance. It is in these conditions of digital education that the use of information and communication and advanced pedagogical technologies in improving the English language skills of teachers requires further strengthening. In addition, it can be said that the continuous use of information and communication and advanced pedagogical technologies in the

improvement of English language skills of teachers will serve to increase the achievements in their

activities in the educational system.
