This article represent current trends in online teaching the language. However the article discusses advantages and disadvantages of distance teaching. Nowadays new technologies give a chance to learn and teach target language without any difficulties.
Keywords: learning, distance learning, English, online learning, modern technologies, distance teaching, online teaching.
INTRODUCTION
XXI century is the century of new technologies and innovations in different spheres of human life. The education system is no exception here. Today, the Internet is inextricably linked to the life of almost every person. Most of today's students and schoolchildren actively use computers and the Internet in their lives and education.
In modern society, against the background of rapid information growth, a specialist must study for almost his entire life. Previously, people could afford to study once and for all, and this reserve of knowledge would be enough for the rest of their lives. Today, the idea of "education throughout life" leads to the need to search for new methods of transferring knowledge and learning technologies. The use of Internet technologies and distance learning opens up new opportunities for continuous training of specialists and retraining of specialists, obtaining a second education and more accessible training.
At the same time, the need for basic education during life or recycling develops the potential for distance learning. With the development and spread of Internet technologies, distance learning opens up new opportunities. A huge number of distance learning courses and entire distance learning universities have appeared in the world.
Distance learning is "a purposeful, specially organized process of interaction of students with a teacher, with information and communication technologies (ICT) and among themselves" [1].

LITERATURE REVIEW
The advantages of distance learning should be highlighted. Manufacturability -training using modern software and equipment. It makes distance learning more effective. New technologies make it possible to make visual information vivid and dynamic, build your own educational process, having an active student interaction with the learning system. The development of Internet networks, fast Internet access, the use of multimedia technologies, sound, video make distance learning courses complete and interesting.
Moore Kearsley defined that "distance education is teaching and planned learning in which teaching normally occurs in a different place from learning where the student and instructor are separated geographically and temporally" (2012 p.546).
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
Accessibility and openness of training is an opportunity to study remotely from the main place of study, while not leaving your home or office. This allows a modern specialist to study almost all his life, without special business trips and vacations, which are combined with the main job.
Internet and distance learning is an opportunity to study almost anywhere in the world where there is a computer and the Internet.
The Internet provides a wide range of informational opportunities. But no matter what characteristics the information-subject environment has, it is the linguodidactic tasks and the peculiarities of the cognitive activity of students determined by the specific goals of education that will be brought to the fore.
One of the coolest benefits of teaching English online is that you set your own schedule. Are you an early bird? A night owl? Either way, you can alter your work schedule according to your preferences. This is because most of your students will be from the other side of the world, and looking to get lessons at all hours of the day (like before and after school).
Therefore, distance learning, taking into account Internet resources, is a
fundamental means of implementing these tasks. Currently, this form of education is
the most popular among working students. However, on the Internet, one can
observe the rapid development of the information-subject environment in different
languages. A trained professional who is expected to find his niche in the rapidly
developing technologies of developed countries must be well informed in his field.
Modern means of communication with partners, access to information resources of
the Internet, presuppose possession of not only computer technologies, but also Google Scholar Scientific Library of Uzbekistan

foreign languages. It is no coincidence that UNESCO has declared our century the century of polyglots. Information is of paramount value in the era of informatization. The specificity of the subject "Foreign language" is that the fundamental component of the content of teaching a foreign language is not a scientific basis, but methods of work - teaching various types of speech activity: speaking, listening, reading and writing. Therefore, in order to teach students various types of speech activity, it is necessary to provide each student with the opportunity to practice the type of speech activity that he is mastering at the moment.
ANALYSIS AND RESULTS
For example, IBM has developed an introductory e-learning course for each new manager. A traditional six-week full-time course is currently taught at the following ratio: e-learning accounts for 75% and 25% full-time class attendance. Thus, the company has significantly saved its budget.
Thus, distance learning English implies the possibility of cooperation with highly qualified teachers from all over the world and, thus, attracting the teaching staff to work without regard to the place of residence and the main job of teachers. This type of training provides a real opportunity to work with professional teachers who work not only in Russian educational institutions, but also in foreign ones.
Distance learning English using video conferencing and electronic transmission of all educational and methodological materials does not require the purchase of often expensive textbooks and manuals. All the necessary educational literature is stored in a publicly accessible electronic database, which students can access at any time. Another positive point is that individual tasks in teaching English are performed remotely by all students independently, therefore, the assessment of these tests by any teacher will be objective, since the teacher does not personally know the students. Disadvantages of distance teaching.
The lack of direct contact between students and the teacher is one of the main disadvantages. The absence of people around significantly reduces the effectiveness of the learning process. It is difficult to create a creative atmosphere in a group of students if classes are held in front of computer monitors.
Another problem of distance learning is the need for a personal computer and Internet access. You need to constantly have access to sources of information, and this requires technical training.
One of the main problems of online learning is still user authentication when
testing knowledge. Since the best technological solutions have not yet been
proposed, most distance learning programs still have a face-to-face examination Google Scholar Scientific Library of Uzbekistan

session. It is impossible to know who is on the other side of the screen. In some cases, this is a problem and requires special measures, tolerances and skills of tutors. Part of this problem is solved by installing video cameras on the training and program side.
The need for a number of individual psychological conditions. Distance learning requires strict self-discipline, which directly depends on the independence and awareness of the student. Students tend to feel a lack of practice. There is no constant control over students, which is a powerful incentive for a person.
CONCLUSION
Thus, it can be concluded that distance learning is carried out using PCs, tablets, phones and the Internet, so that anyone can study from remote locations such as home or office, rather than visiting a university campus. It is a flexible solution for adapting higher education to work and family responsibilities.
Distance learning at a reputable institution has the same academic and professional value as its traditional counterpart, and this form of study can be especially useful for people looking to change careers, get a promotion, or simply satisfy their thirst for knowledge and understanding of the details How distance learning is carried out can help decide if such a learning option is appropriate for the educational and career path.
