ABSTRACT
The academic field of women's writing is a distinct subfield of literary studies that is founded on the idea that women's experiences have historically been influenced their gender, making women writers by definition a group deserving of independent investigation:
It is acceptable to argue that women writers have a significant role in both contemporary and historical English literature. It wouldn't be incorrect to argue that English women authors have made a significant enough impression on the literary world in every genre, including romance and poetry.

INTRODUCTION
The role of women in literature flourished during the Victorian era because it was during this period that women began to seek their rights and social equality. women write works to earn a living, change society, and most importantly, women write to fight for their rights. many women decided to publish their work to solve their problems in writing. As a result, Feminism started to gain momentum out of the frustration women faced with the openly unfair and worsening social and political situation (,, I Take Up My Pen "). Some of more popular female novelists of this time include Charlotte Bronte and George Eliot.
ANALYSIS
In order to guarantee that their writings would be accorded the same respect as those written by men, many women of the Victorian era published their works anonymously or under false names. All of the Bronte sisters used gender-ambiguous pseudonyms, which gave female novelists the confidence to construct characters in any way they pleased without worrying that their gender would be disparaged or that their work would not be regarded seriously. One of the most well-known authors of Realistic Victorian fiction, Charlotta Bronte wrote most of her books under the alias "currer Bell," which was gender neutral. Strong, independent-minded heroines with strong moral convictions were among Bronte's creations.
