Каждый язык уникален по-своему. Каждый язык имеет свои особенности формирования разных частей речи, разных слов. Но, наряду с исключительной оригинальностью и уникальностью всех языков, есть некоторые общие черты в их развитии и общие черты в их структуре. Об этих и многих других лингвистических особенностях мы поговорим на примере английского языка.

Phrasal verbs are an important distinguishing feature of the English language. The importance of their use is obvious as they are the key to modern English. They are used not only in everyday spoken English, but also are one of the main aspects of written and official English. The study and understanding of phrasal verbs, however, is often a huge problem and there are many reasons for this. "Not only can they be exactly dated, but these words have a distinctive feature: they are specifically English" [2, p. 66]. Phrasal verbs are unique, and their study requires tremendous effort.

The meaning of phrasal verbs often has no connection either with the verb, or with that unchangeable particle that is used with this or that phrasal verb. This means that phrasal verbs can cause certain difficulties in their understanding and, of course, when studying them. In addition, many phrasal verbs have several meanings and their grammatical behavior is often unpredictable. Sometimes it is very difficult to understand whether a phrasal verb is transitive or intransitive. Sometimes the difficulty causes the use of a supplement with a particular verb.

Individual phrasal verbs can be used only in limited grammatical form or in

limited time. Many phrasal verbs have several syntactic models. Sometimes it is very difficult to explain the meaning of a phrasal verb and, almost impossible, to memorize the typical subjects and additions that can be used with this phrasal verb. This topic was chosen in order to remove certain difficulties in the study of phrasal verbs, to make this aspect of the language more understandable for study. The purpose of the work is to identify the most frequently used phrasal verbs in English.

Tasks:

1. Find all the phrasal verbs in the book "Thegreenyears" byA. Kronin;

2. To argue the importance of using phrasal verbs in speech.

The subject of the research is the semantic field "phrasal verbs".

In accordance with the goals and objectives set, we conducted a survey of students to determine the importance and relevance of our study.

• Why use phrasal verbs in speech?

• Is it important to learn phrasal verbs?

• Which phrase verbs do you use more often in your speech?

After interviewing 100 respondents, we found out that phrasal verbs are used to:

1. Enrich the speech (62%).

2. Show the level of language proficiency (17%).

3. Introduce lexical diversity into speech (21%).

Answering the question, is it important to study phrasal verbs, almost all respondents answered that this is a very important aspect of the language (80%). Some of them answered that it is necessary to do this (12%), and only a few answered that it was a waste of time, since phrasal verbs can not be memorized (8%).

What are the most commonly used phrasal verbs in our students' speech? After collecting and analyzing the results, we found out that the leaders are the verbs to look, to take. Rarely used are the needles to give and to make. Sometimes the verbs to get, to turn. It is extremely rare to be, to wear.

Based on the results obtained, we analyzed those verbs that students use in their daily speech and concluded that these 30 phrasal verbs are sufficient to solve the communicative problem solved in everyday life:

To look at, to look for, to look after, to look through, to look up ... in (look in the dictionary, source);

To take after, to take down, to take away, to take off, to take back;

To give out, to give up, to give away, to give back;

To make off, to make out (understand with difficulty), to make up (compose, compose);

To get over, to get away, to get up, get to go out, to get along, get off (off the train ...), to get on (take the train ...);

To turn on, turn to inside out, to turn into, to turn up, turn over, turn to turn.

After reading the book "The green years" by A. Kronin and analyzing the phrasal verbs, we came to the conclusion that there is a huge difference between those

verbs that our students use in their everyday speech and those verbs that the author used to create a living picture of what is happening in book. In accordance with the meaning of the autologiders of the frequency of use, the focal eyes were: to look at, to get up, to give to, to go out, to put on, to run out, to stand up.

Analyzing the contents of the book, we came to the conclusion that the verbs used by the author in the book helped to reveal the main idea of the book, enriched the speech of the main characters. With the help of these phrasal verbs the book was filled with unforgettable emotions and feelings of the main characters. Phrasal verbs enable the author and us, the readers, to see a vivid picture of what is happening, the depth of the friendly relations between the main characters. Variety Phrasal verbs reveal to the reader the attitude of the main characters to life, friendship and first love.

Here are a few examples of their book showing the diversity and grandeur of phrasal verbs:

• I longed with all my heart to be back beside him.

• Jamie broke into a loud laugh.

• Usually I sleep the moment.

• He made his mother get up in the middle of the night to cook him ham and

eggs.

• How did you get on?

• We must learn to get over our disappointments.

The difference between you and me is that you give up too easily.

Finishing work on our research, we came to the conclusion that phrasal verbs are the most difficult and unpredictable aspect of the English language. The fact that it is very important to study phrasal verbs in the context, in a particular communicative situation, is also obvious. Using phrasal verbs allows us to make our speech colorful and helps to reveal the depth of our feelings and emotions.
