In short, information technologies accompany all stages men's creative activity. Processes organized through technological purposes, become effective, due to the possibility of exchanging information and its coordination with a computer. Of course, this requires a detailed study of appropriate technologies and analyzing information provision of consistent process control, "the chain" (this means to seize the control technology) [1].

Widespread use of didactic materials submitted via information technologies with the help of effective technical tools, is a key indicator in the use of modern pedagogical technologies. The main focus in modern educational programs is put on the use of information management tools of the educational process [2].

Technology has revolutionized the way students learn today, opening up a whole new world of possibilities. Gone are the days of only relying on textbooks and blackboards to absorb information. Thanks to the digital age, students now have a plethora of tools and resources at their fingertips, transforming the traditional classroom experience. With technology in the mix, learning has become more interactive, accessible, and exciting for students of all ages [3].

In this article, we will look at some applications of modern information technologies (IT) for using in education.

• Example: Busuu, the app is easy to use and ideal for language learners at different levels. The user simply registers and selects the language and level they want to learn. The application teaches the user the word and phrases in sentences, and then takes the exam step by step in the form of a test [4].

These platforms make education more accessible, particularly for individuals in remote areas or those with time constraints. The shift to online learning also allows for self-paced learning, making education more flexible and adaptable to the needs of diverse learners.

2. Adaptive Learning Systems

Adaptive learning technologies, powered by artificial intelligence (AI), are changing the way students engage with course materials. These systems analyze students' progress and adjust learning content and activities based on individual performance, ensuring that students receive the most effective and personalized learning experience.

• Example: Khan Academy provides free online courses with an adaptive learning system that helps students master topics at their own pace. The platform tracks a student's progress and offers targeted exercises to reinforce learning. This personalized approach ensures that students fully understand each concept before moving on to the next one.

• Example: DreamBox is an adaptive learning platform for K-8 students. It uses AI to assess students' learning behaviors and dynamically adjusts lesson plans based on their strengths and weaknesses. DreamBox helps create a customized learning experience, increasing engagement and improving outcomes.

These systems help overcome challenges like one-size-fits-all teaching methods and allow for a more individual approach to learning. Adaptive learning also benefits students with special educational needs by providing tailored content that matches their learning pace and style.

3. Virtual Laboratories and Simulations

Virtual labs and simulations are powerful tools for enhancing practical learning experiences. In fields such as science and engineering, hands-on practice is essential, but physical labs can be expensive, time-consuming, and sometimes unsafe. Virtual

labs offer students a chance to conduct experiments and explore scientific concepts in a risk-free digital environment.

• Example: Labster offers virtual science labs where students can conduct experiments in biology, chemistry, physics, and other sciences. These virtual labs simulate real-world scenarios, enabling students to practice experiments that would be costly or dangerous in a real lab setting. Labster provides an interactive, engaging way for students to learn by doing.

• Example: PhET Interactive Simulations offers free interactive simulations in subjects like physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics. These simulations help students visualize complex scientific concepts and experiment with variables in a controlled digital environment, making abstract ideas more tangible.

Virtual laboratories provide an engaging, cost-effective way to enhance practical learning, giving students access to experiments and learning experiences that would otherwise be difficult or impossible.

4. Artificial intelligence (AI) and Data Analytics for Assessment and Feedback

Artificial intelligence and data analytics are transforming how students are

assessed and how their progress is monitored. AI-powered tools can help teachers assess student performance more accurately and in real time, providing valuable insights into learning patterns and areas where students may need additional support.

• Example: Socrative is a tool that allows teachers to create real-time quizzes, polls, and assessments. It uses AI to instantly grade assignments and track student progress. This immediate feedback helps teachers identify areas where students may be struggling and allows for timely intervention.

• Example: Gradescope is an AI-powered platform that helps automate grading and provides detailed analytics about student performance. Gradescope uses machine learning to streamline grading for assignments, exams, and written work, saving teachers valuable time while ensuring accurate, fair evaluations.

These technologies reduce the administrative burden on educators, allowing them to focus more on teaching and providing personalized feedback. Automated assessments also help ensure that students are evaluated consistently and fairly.

5. Collaboration Tools for Group Work and Peer Interaction

Information technology has also made collaborative learning more effective and accessible. Digital tools enable students to work together on projects, share ideas, and collaborate in real time, regardless of geographical location. These tools promote communication, teamwork, and the development of critical soft skills.

• Example: Google Classroom is a free platform used by teachers to assign tasks, provide feedback, and facilitate communication between students. It allows for seamless sharing of documents and collaborative work on assignments. Teachers can

track student progress and ensure that deadlines are met, making it easier to manage class activities and projects.
