THE USE OF MULTIMEDIA PRESENTATIONS IN THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS

В статье рассматриваются особенности использования мультимедийных презентаций в учебном процессе. Даются определения понятиям «мультимедиа», «мультимедийная презентация»; обсуждаются возможности мультимедиа и создание программ для мультимедийных презентаций PowerPoint, Prezi, Proshow.
Ключевые слова: информационно-коммуникационные технологии, мультимедиа, мультимедийные презентации.
The article deals with the use of multimedia presentations in the educational process. The author defines multimedia and multimedia presentation as well as considers the multimedia potential and raises the question of developing the program for PowerPoint, Prezi and Proshow multimedia presentations.

The informatization process of the modern society and the closely associated processes of informatization of all educational activities forms are characterized by process improvement and the mass propagation of modern information and communication technologies. These technologies are actively used for information transfer and smooth interaction of the teacher and the learner. The modern teacher must not only possess knowledge in the field of information and communication technologies (ICT), but also be an expert of their usage in their professional activities. At this time, almost every PC sold in varying degrees, is equipped with the multimedia equipment, at the same time, all the details of this technology are known not to everyone. The multimedia technology is thoroughly integrated into the daily life and successfully used in many custom applications.
The multimedia is a technology that allows computer users to enter, process, store, transmit, display text, graphics, animation, digitized still images, video, sound, speech. It is a modern computer-based information technology to connect the computer system text, sound, video, illustration and animation (the animation). The emergence of multi-media systems, of course, makes revolutionary changes in such areas as education, computer training, in many professional fields, science, art, computer games, etc [1].
Often the new knowledge and new technologies require new forms of presenting teaching material. One of these forms used in the educational process is the multimedia presentations.
The multimedia presentation is a program that may contain texts, photos, drawings, slideshows, sound effects and narration support, video clips and animation, three-dimensional graphics. The main difference of the presentations from other ways of presenting is the special richness of content and interactivity of information, i.e. the ability of a certain way to change and respond to user actions.
A multimedia presentation is one of the most interesting and effective ways to address many of the pressing problems of teaching. Multimedia presentations are a way of presenting information using a computer program that combines the dynamics, sound and image, those factors that are the most long-held note.
The multimedia presentation as a form of presentation has long been a common practice at the scientific conferences, in higher and secondary educational institutions. Introducing this activity allows the teacher to organize the development of modern information and communication technologies, to provide the students with the necessary skills of independent work with the modern systems and allows you to simultaneously use different ways of presenting information.
A teacher by displaying the multimedia presentation focuses students on the main aspects of the discipline and the core story. The presentations provide following opportunities:
- to make it clear and convincing;
- to clearly distinguish the structure of the material that is being studied;
- to create the best conditions for arbitrary memorization;
- to show the connection of theory with practice;
- to fully reveal the essence and regularity of phenomena that are studied;
- to show images, the whole scheme, the derivation of the formulas, equations and their separate parts;
- to play audio and video fragments;
- to intensify attention of the whole class;
- to increase the efficiency and objectivity, monitoring and evaluation of learning outcomes;
- to promote the individualization of learning activities;
- to increase learning motivation;
- to save the study time;
- to help students to develop productive, creative functions of thinking, growth in intellectual abilities, the formation of the operating style of thinking.
The process of learning applies to all the new and original forms, methods and approaches of presentation in the educational material with the aim of Hobbies of students studying the discipline, increase of efficiency of mastering of educational material. The presentation allows you to increase the success of studies using demo funds.
There are lots of programs to create presentations: MS PowerPoint, Аdobе Flash, Prezi, Impress, Proshow, etc. Promoshow Consider some of them:
The multimedia PowerPoint presentation. The easiest way to create a multimedia presentation is Microsoft PowerPoint. A classic version of the multimedia presentation is based on the slide show. This kind of presentations is easy to use and easy to modify the content, parameters and settings. You can add in video, a soundtrack and also a reasonable degree of animation. By far the biggest advantage of making multimedia presentations in PowerPoint is that it is easy for anyone to be able to edit the presentation [6].

PowerPoint presentation is necessary for optimization of the educational process and, therefore, is currently widely used in conducting classes in schools, seminars, workshops and refresher courses. It has a convenient slide structure and the ability to place a sufficient amount of graphical and textual information [2].
The multimedia presentation Prezi. As modern information technology, namely the use of presentations, Prezi allows you to achieve higher levels in education. Prezi. com is online service for creation of presentations and demonstrations on any number of computers. Beinga service for creation of presentations, Prezi.com offers a large number of opportunities for visualization of the presentations, by means of use of video records, graphics, etc.
There is a possibility for choice version designed for use in the school (students, teachers - group work). These possibilities are user-friendly user-friendly interface, the possibility of introducing graphic objects and text documents. The main feature of the program is the possibility of placing unique smooth transitions that allow you to instantly switch between slides. All slides are created on a single canvas. The user can zoom in and zoom out of the side of the road, adding new presentation elements. There is also a possibility of creating presentations that have already been developed for the design of the fabric [4].
Service interface language English. The text in the presentations can be in any language, including Russian.

The multimedia video presentation ProShow. The professional software is Photodex. ProShow Producer is used to create slide shows and dynamic presentations of the finished pictures and video. The special features of the application can support interactive text links and headings. This feature allows you to adjust the performance of the specified action by clicking the mouse on a particular label. Here are the few sample actions that can be done, such as moving to a specific frame or to the address of the web page on the Internet, setting the playback to the pause or the accelerated viewing, launching the external program or other presentation, and so on. The photos used in the presentation can be edited by applying to them tools, such as increasing clarity, changing the contrast and color saturation. The presentation may contain signatures, including animated and background music [5].

In the educational process people more often use PowerPoint to create multimedia presentation. Nowadays, more often the shift is towards using the new, interesting program (service) Prezi. The presentations by Prezi give direct access to information. The user can immediately see all the contents and PE-to edit to what interested him. Information extraction would involve in a large cost of time and labor.
The use of PowerPoint and Prezi can breathe a new life into old plan lessons and increase the motivation of students only if the teacher knows how to correctly apply its resources accordingly with a working program.
In addition, currently, you can use ProShow to create multimedia presentations or video presentations in the educational process. With the help of this program it is easy to create video presentations on some topics of the study subjects. Introduction in practice of teaching modern in formation and communication technologies enhances the professional competence of the teacher and effective teaching of their discipline.
Using these programs, students can also work on the proposed topics during independent work. The usability of multimedia presentations is that they can be stored, if necessary, to supplement information.
Thus, when using multimedia presentations in the classroom, it streamlines the educational process, increases students motivation, promotes educational activities, shows the interest in the subject by developing individualized learning and fosters independence. Moreover, it optimizes time costs, promotes better understanding and memorizing of the studied material, helps students to acquire skills in the application of speaking and develops communicative competence. In our opinion, the use of PowerPoint, Prezi and ProShow in the educational process and the use of this type of information and communication technologies in the classroom to explore certain topics is an effective way of mastering information and skills, ability to work with the application that will be required by students in their future professional activities.
