UPBRINGING OF HIGHLY EDUCATED YOUNG PEOPLE IS THE MAIN BASIS FOR PREVENTING RELIGIOUS EXTREMISM AND
TERRORISM
Abstract: This article talks about the role of spirituality in protecting young people from the ideology of religious extremism and terrorism. Recommendations are given on raising young people to become perfect people with high spirituality.
Key words: religious extremism, terrorism, youth, spirituality, ideology, education, moral qualities.
The effectiveness of the reforms implemented in our country depends, first of all, on the revival of the people's spirituality, on the deep instillation of spiritual education in the hearts and minds of our youth. That's why the development of our youth as a person, restoration of national values, education of young people as fully mature, high meaning, perfect human beings has been raised to the level of state policy. After all, the reforms in the socio-political, spiritual and cultural spheres carried out in our country are not only to raise the quality and level of life of the population to a new, high level, but also to create a social and spiritual environment that serves to form a person with high spirituality, selflessly for our independent country to take its rightful place in the world community. struggle is to educate people who rely on their own strength and capabilities and can independently approach the events happening around them.
It is known that the well-being of every society and the development of the state is related to the level of attention to spirituality, and it is a social phenomenon that manifests itself in the relations of individuals, society and the state. One of the main criteria for raising spirituality is our holy religion, which is becoming a powerful factor, understanding the meaning of life, and preserving our national culture and lifestyle, values, customs and traditions. For this reason, the interest and desire for Islam religion is growing all over the world, and its supporters and well-wishers are increasing more and more.
At a time when globalization is becoming more and more, the struggle to expand the sphere of ideological influence in the human society, efforts to globalize its ideology continue. In this sense, we are now living in a time when the world is covered by different ideologies and the struggle between these ideologies is intensifying. In the conditions of various ideological influences, it is necessary to explain the essence of our national idea to young people, to form a strong ideological immunity in them, to protect them from the pressure of
foreign ideologies, to be more precise, to ensure their ideological integrity. Various forms of extremism and terrorism today threaten the stability and peace of not only one or a few countries, but the entire world community. That is why the President of our Republic, Sh. Mirziyoev, in his speech at the 72nd General Assembly of the United Nations in September of this year, paid special attention to the issue of eliminating religious extremism and terrorism and the experience of Uzbekistan on this topic. At the same time, the President of our Republic proposed to adopt a special resolution of the United Nations Organization dedicated to religious tolerance. It is complicated and dangerous today that our young people join such religious extremist and terrorist movements and go to the point of taking up arms in the homeland where they were born and raised. The question arises: Why did some young men and women who were born in our village, neighborhood, studied in our kindergarten, school, college, walked on smooth roads built by us, grew up eating fruits grown in our gardens, cheated on strangers? Today they are looking at us with cold eyes. Why? Millions of their classmates are selflessly studying and working for this dear Motherland? What has changed in deluded youth?
Something has changed in them - its name is spirituality.
So, spirituality is not an abstract, but a real thing, a force that transforms a person. He walks with us in every breath we take. It is reflected in the decisions we make. At such a time, a military wisdom comes to mind: "Combat training is good and important." But spiritual preparation decides where a soldier will shoot."
In today's complex and dangerous times, the concept of spirituality as an object of pedagogical prevention against the ideology of religious extremism and terrorism requires a separate, special approach. The above facts and evidences also prove what people with high spirituality and weak spirituality are like, and high spirituality is an indomitable strength. Spirituality shows that every boy and girl is an observer of their behavior.
In order to resist the threat of religious extremism and terrorism, it is necessary for our youth to have a high morale, that is, to be strong. The essence of human spirituality is revealed in the book "High spirituality is an irresistible force". That is, "Spirituality is an incomparable force that calls a person to spiritual purification, spiritual growth, strengthens the inner world of a person, strengthens his will, completes his faith, awakens his conscience, and is the criterion of all his views."
Some young people who lack ideological immunity got lost and joined gangs of religious extremism and terrorism. The reason for this is, on the one hand, the propaganda of an evil ideology, and on the other hand, the mistakes made in scientific, practical and organizational work in the field of ideological education, pedagogical prevention. So, to stop this, it is very important to develop spirituality in every boy and girl. We are required to move to work with clear pedagogical results. Otherwise, our great works and achievements
achieved in 25 years, which amaze the world, will be in danger. Every teenager needs to be able to protect himself and others from the influence of foreign ideas. For this, first of all, it is necessary for teachers-coaches, community advisers, parents to form spirituality in our youth.
From the point of view of our socio-pedagogical research, we ask "How young people become victims of religious extremism and terrorist propaganda?" we raised the question. The results of the study showed the following characteristics:
1. Young people who have not filled the void in their minds with the great values of enlightened Islam and our national idea. As long as this gap is not filled, the possibility of them being influenced by various destructive currents under the guise of religion will remain high. For such young people, first of all, it is necessary to form a culture of separating useful science from useless. It is necessary to equip our youth with the visions of our scholars, our great grandfathers, Abu Mansur Moturidi, Abu Nasr Iyodi, Burhanuddin Marginani, Abu-l-Lays Samarkandi, Abu-l-Muin Nasafi.
2. Young people who have shallow knowledge, do not have an independent opinion, and tend to directly accept other people's opinions without analyzing them. According to polls, 1/7 of young people in England support them. They are people who look at one side of the issue, draw conclusions, are connected to the Internet, and tend to blindly imitate others. It's a pity that such young people are also found in our country.
3. Those who are dissatisfied with the society, not with their own vices, but with a negative view of the creativity implemented in it... They see evil in everything. They are open-eyed but dead-hearted.
4. Very curious people. This type of people, even when their lives are in danger, knowingly say, "What if I try it once?!" they work in the tribe. As a result, drug addicts will increase and terrorists will appear. They do not think about the consequences of what they do. And the result is damage to both oneself and the society.
5. Idleness, boredom, indifference in youth. A desire to get rich quickly. If these problems are summarized, we can see teenagers with poor education and no knowledge before our eyes. Incorrect distribution of time, improper use of available opportunities (for example, the Internet) can undoubtedly create a space for destructive ideas. Therefore, teenagers who live a healthy lifestyle, busy with work suitable for their age and gender, do not have time for such things. Because their spirituality is strong. This quality of his acts as a shield, protecting against religious extremist and terrorist movements. Our young people who take up arms for their homeland lack or have not fully formed this protective shell-spirituality. So, what should be done to prevent such young people from falling under the influence of foreign ideas such as religious extremism and terrorism? First President Islam Karimov spoke about this and said, "It is necessary to deeply instill in people's minds that the entry and spread
of political, religious extremism, fanaticism and other evil currents, which are completely foreign to the nature of our people, pose a great threat to peace and tranquility, and the future of our children. It is necessary to mobilize the forces against the evil forces by establishing and strengthening high moral and spiritual values in the thinking of our people", [1;4], and we approach the issue.
The ideas of the first President that "it is necessary to mobilize the forces against evil forces by establishing and strengthening high moral and spiritual values" showed one of the important solutions for our research. We have put a pedagogical question in front of ourselves in order to "determine + strengthen + mobilize high moral values". Most of our young people who studied and received education in our schools, colleges and lyceums, when faced with the propaganda of religious extremism and terrorism, strike with an anti-destructive idea and expose them. But why do some of them fall into the trap of foreign ideas? What qualities make up the spiritual core and strength of a teenager's ideological immunity? Which of our national qualities can be strengthened and guaranteed ideological protection of every teenager? And on the contrary, what moral vices can "pave the way" for the ideology of religious extremism and terrorism, create favorable conditions for it to enter the heart and mind of a teenager? If we can find answers to these pedagogical questions, if we can form this spiritual virtue in our young people in schools, colleges and lyceums, we can raise them to be people who can resist foreign ideas and are devoted to their country.
