Abstract: in the article is analyzed the definitions of destination competivenessand investigated international estimation methods of travel and tourism competitivenessof different countries based on 14 sub-indexes and 90 variables, also scientificallysubstantiated mega, macro, mezzo, meta, micro, mini and nano levels of competitivenessof destinations. Today, tourism is one of the promising areas of high income for the national economy. Uzbekistan is a country with great potential in tourism. There are more than 7,300 cultural heritage sites in our country, and most of them are included in the list of UNESCO [1].

At the same time, it is possible to open new tourist routes using the unique nature of our country and the opportunities of the beautiful holiday zones. With the active involvement of world-class brands in this field, we need to pay special attention to the development of tourism, ecological, educational, ethnographic, gastronomic tourism and other sectors of the industry. We must take into account that the application of public-private partnerships opens up broad opportunities for the development of this sphere.

It is necessary to develop and accelerate the "small pilgrimage" program, which includes visits to holy sites and monuments in Samarkand, Bukhara and Tashkent. Greater opportunities for domestic tourism should be fully utilized [1].

Modern approaches to the evaluation of tourism competitiveness are characterized by the methods used to determine the degree of competitiveness of a particular country, mainly by the number of indicators, the composition and their significance coefficient [2].

For this purpose, commonly used and standardized statistical data and expert evaluations are widely used. The World Economic Forum (WEF) will conduct field surveys, including surveys with expert and company managers, in collaborating with partner international organizations to prepare annual ratings. The competitiveness assessment is a part of a specific study, where the score-to-score approach is widely used.

The Travel and Tourism Competitiveness Report, published annually by the World Economic Forum (World Economic Forum), affects the tourism industry and the attractiveness of the investment climate for certain countries, such as the SaTuRa index (Travel & Tourism Competitiveness Index - Travel & Tourism Competitiveness Index - TTCI). SaTuRa is annually published by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

Tourist jurisdiction is the ability to capture domestic and international markets by providing high-quality, innovative and attractive tourism services, while optimizing the attractiveness of geographical locations for residents and non-residents and ensuring efficient and sustainable use of available resources in tourism [3].

The SaTuRa index, for the first time in 2007, envisages taking into account a number of factors and economic trends that contribute to the sustainable development of tourism and tourism, which have a positive effect on the economic development and competitiveness of the state [4].

To determine the competitiveness of travel and tourism in the country, 14 subgroups were grouped into four groups:

The first is the "Developmental Framework for Development", which covers the general provisions of the country's operation. They include: business environment, security and peace, health

and hygiene, human resources and the labor market, and the introduction of information and communication technologies;

The second one is "Travel and Tourism Policy and the Formation of Good Conditions for Development", covering programs and strategic plans directly affecting travel and tourism. These include: recognition of travel and tourism as a strategic area, international openness, competitive prices, sustainable ecological situation;

The third one is the "Infrastructure", which is available in various fields, the quality of the infrastructure and the right of everyone to use it. Air transport infrastructure, land and water transport infrastructure, tourism infrastructure, etc. The last, fourth, subindex group combines "Natural and Cultural Resources", ie all resources that can be a tourist destination, natural resources, cultural resources and business tourism;

90 of the 14 subindexes listed above are based on 1 to 7 points based on precision method, while SaTuRa is ranked third with Spain, the second largest in France and the third in Germany.

It should be noted that Uzbekistan is not in the rating of 141 countries. The main reason for this situation is that our country does not adequately establish cooperation with international organizations and that the collection and processing of statistical data is not based on an internationally recognized methodology.

"Competitive management of tourist bidding systems that can shape competitive tourist destinations in the success of local, national and international levels," is the competitiveness of these systems, as is the "mega, macro, meso, meta, micro, mini and nanosystems "As in [5]. That is, 90 of the above mentioned "SaTuRa" indices suggest that the competitiveness of the tourist industry at the minimal level of the hosted guest house in the status of a family business, at a micro level in the meals facilities, hotels and tour operators, the regional offices of the State Committee for Tourism Development at the meta and mea level, the UzbekistonTemirYullari, It is dependent on the quality of the company's operations at the macro level, the national airline of Uzbekistan Airways.

In order to achieve the competitiveness of tourism and tourism in Uzbekistan, which can fully respond to all the changes in the SaTuRa index, it is desirable to systematically improve the seven levels of business management on the basis of strategic plans. This is due to the fact that the inclusion of statistical indicators in the tourism industry, the closer cooperation with international organizations in the recycling process, the introduction of internationally recognized methodologies in the national statistical system, the implementation of concrete measures to continually improve the indicators of the 90 per cent of the above mentioned competitiveness, winning, investment attractiveness, and steady growth.
