Abstract: the article describes the main areas of implementation of the "smart home" technology, energy-efficient solutions in the construction sector. The key parameters, types of modern technologies, their benefits and impact on the energy efficiency of the building, ways to minimize energy losses are considered. The analysis of energy-efficient solutions and the result of the introduction of intelligent technologies.

Keywords: "smart home", energy efficiency, minimization of energy losses, economical consumption of energy resources, intelligent technologies.

Intelligent technology is increasingly entering our daily lives. They not only make it easier, but make it more comfortable, more economical in terms of energy use and even safer.

In Germany, about 31 percent of Germans use at least one intelligent application [1]. Smart tools make our life a lot easier. A voice command, a quick click on the smartphone and remote sensors to control devices in the house, saving our time and effort, provide warmth in the house already to our return.

With regard to home security, innovative security door systems such as the Winkhaus AV3 provide reliable burglary protection. They are supplemented by automatic multi-point locks that are easy to operate and reliable to use. Thanks to use of lock bolts, they perfectly cope with breaking. In addition, this lock system can be connected via Bluetooth to a mobile phone, which will allow you to remotely control access to the home [2].

It should be noted that intelligent systems also make life easier for older people, making it possible for them to live independently at home. Without getting out of bed, they can see who is ringing the door or opening the front door with a fingerprint. Also, it is possible to provide access to the house of strangers, for example, a doctor, by setting a period of time and his fingerprint. There is a system that analyzes every movement of an elderly person, and which, in the event of a person falling, notifies relatives or carers.

The smart home also helps reduce resource consumption by using lighting control programs (smart LEDs, Wi-Fi sockets that allow you to remotely control the supply of electricity), heating (smart LEDs) and modernized ventilation systems [1].

In addition, super-efficient windows have already appeared that tint on their own when the sun becomes brighter - this helps reduce cooling costs. And the use of low-energy LED lights, which last longer and work on direct current, eliminates the waste of converting alternating current to direct [2].

A smart home should begin with design. With regard to energy conservation, it should imply the maximum possible energy savings and self-supply of energy, that is, the design of structures with minimal heat loss, energy-saving appliances and equipment, heat exchangers from people, equipment, as well as solar energy, underground heat, wind energy [3]. At the same time, optimal energy efficiency solutions are always the result of a combination of all methods. It is important to find a compromise between energy efficiency and comfort.

It is believed that to make a home truly "smart", two things are needed. Firstly, these are sensors, actuators and devices that obey commands and provide status information. There are already hundreds, if not thousands, of smart home products on the market. In recent years, they have evolved from simple door and light switch sensors to smart thermostats like

Nest and voice control devices like Amazon Echo. Secondly, protocols and tools that allow all of these devices, regardless of the supplier, to communicate with each other [2].

The Smart Home concept has gained the most popularity in the USA and Europe. People were attracted by the opportunity to reduce the cost of electricity and water, improve the security of homes and improve the quality of life in general. The decrease in cost and the appearance on the shelves of new universal technology have led to a significant increase in the market for "smart homes" and the transformation of its basic model. According to Juniper Research, by 2021, the global market for hardware and services for smart homes will be $ 195 billion [1].

From the foregoing, we can conclude that the introduction of intelligent technologies not only facilitates our daily lives, ensures our safety and improves the comfort of our homes, but also helps to save and minimize energy consumption.
